@Shadowgreed:
I know this quote is suppose to help Doflamingo but it ain't doing it, because he has all this connections but the ones that are fighting his enemies at the moment are his own people and not his allies but I know where you coming from
I view this as a possible part of his downfall, and very much agree. He has connections but he lacks diplomancy, he could use his connections to fortify his position but hes too damn proud, and he probably doesnt know how to use his WG connections without involving threats. He is wasting the ace chards hes got.
I wasn't an A's in history and I don't watch Game of Thrones
Didnt mean to come off as a lecture, i just think its a very cool story lol and it sorta reminds me of the tenryuubito: winning a big war then hiding in marejois atop of the red line, you could draw a parallel to the great wall. Burning books to restart history and void centuary/policy thowards P.Glyphs is an interesting analogy.
You made it so much clear that you named Doflamingo the fifth Yonkou and I explained to you that he's not even close to that, the WG maintain his structure in one way which is "7 Shishibukais (Neutral), Marines = 3 Admirals (good-right), Pirates = 4 Yonkous (evil-left)" there can not be 4 Admirals nor 5 Yonkous because it will disrupt the whole system in a flash also I told you that there are brokers who might be close to Doflamingo when it comes to dealings because that's a system that cannot be ruled by one person but rather have different groups that sustain the same or greater amount of power
Damnit im sorry for the confusion about the 5th yonkou thing. its kind of an old IRL meme starting with the Beatles, where people would describe their Producer George Martin as the "5th Beatle" because he signed them against the wishes of much of the record company, provided them with high level instruments, influenced their style with his own music and even played string instruments in some recorded songs. He is the one who The Beatles refer to as Sgt. Pepper in their songs. Since then people have always kinda searched for a "Fifth X" whenever a succesfull quartet appears anywhere in anything. A similiar IRL meme was born when Yoko Ono married John Lennon wich broke up the band, causing people to describe women who come between men and their famous and much loved work as "the Yoko Ono of X" (some say Hancock is the Yoko Ono of OP… just kidding)
the entire fifth beatle thing was sort of a joke from the start, and i was stupid to assume that everyone would get the reference. With 5th Yonkou i meant that DD is like George Martin, he provides the four emperors with rare stuff, basicly. but instead of rare high tech mixers its artificial devil fruits.
Ignore that, a core idea behind yonkous are obviously that there are only 4 of them, and if DD was yonkou level we would have noticed it by now. something like, him fighting WB and BB during MF in close battles. Never happened though did it xD
it was a reference that was meant to describe what he does in the new world basicly. Helps yonkous for money. (George Martin became filthy rich and was knighted too lol)
And like i said i consider DD and Mihawk to be on about the same level of strenght (defeintely top 2 shichibukais that we have seen so far) but they have their own strenghts and weaknesses. DD is very versatile while Mihawk is probably a nightmare for all Logia users).
I also consider Mihawk above Doflamingo strength wise lol
The guy obviously puts more into his pyshical fighting so i cannot disagree here. But DD has been shown to posses superhuman speed and agility and a versatile DF that probably ranks top 5 in paramecias (Gura Gura no mi and Fujitoras Gravity thing being the strongest, i think). speaking about their phsysiology, DD is like 100CM taller than Mihawk. Not saying its affecting strenght its just a wierd little fact that he is so big.
But i agree Mihawk posses higher physical strenght.
If I quote you is because read and understood what you were trying to say, you just have to prove me wrong and explain me as to why you think that in the first place without trying to make it like I'm picking on you and I'm not.
I'm just being your friendly neighborhood spider man sticking my web all over your posts
Doflamingo is puppet master, right, so he can control body part, Jozu moving his eyes is a normal thing to do unless Doflamingo take his eyes out
This is what really happened, If Doflamingo is able to control a person like Jozu his Devil Fruit will be overpowered because what can assures us that he can't control a Yonkou or an admiral for that matter, he is only able to control people who are below his level of strength by a big margin I may add (apparently) and strong guys he can only stop them like he did with Jozu also Haki
PS: I don't pick on new memebers
So far everyone who DF has controlled has been able to do some things on their own, like talk, yell for help etc. i dont see why jozu shouldnt be able to move his eye. the fact that he looks at DF through the corner of his eye, instead of like, turning around and trying to throw him off or something. Why is he standing like he is incapable of moving if DF wasnt able to affect him? if you read events again, can see Jozu attacking Crocodile and taking him by surprise. Then Jozu starts turninging into diamond again and charge thorward, then it cuts to doflamingo making a stroke with his finger, and all of a sudden Jozu is standing there unable to go through with the attack, and then allows DD to use him as a chair for some time.
The only way to make sense of this is that DD froze Jozu. Otherwise, why suddenly have Jozu stop, why show Doflamingos finger moving before it happens, and why does Jozu just let doflamingo sit on him, doing nothing except moving his pupil a bit during the entire time until Crocodile uses Sables.
Look up when he used the ability on baby 5. When he is talking to Vergo and she is pissed at him for killing her latest BF. she was also able to struggle against it (DD tried to make her aim her guns at her own head). but her arms still shaked alot and you could see on her face that she had a hard time, and she barely manages to hold off for a few seconds until they aim thowards her head, and DD lets go of her.
So its obvious that the stronger opponant, the less effect it has. But obviously it was enough to prevent Jozu from moving. So with that logic it would most surely not work on a general. But it worked 100% on atmos who is also a division commander so there is no reason why it must have zero effect on Jozu.
in general i think we agree with each others on the other points, just misunderstandings (the whole Fighting Strenght/Power being different things, and the 5th yonkou gag being interperated literally ;)
