Moria is coming back just like all the other Shibukai have come back and helped Luffy. He will be stronger, more focused and a major factor in taking down Kaidou.
Well Jinbei did beat up Moria like he was nothing.
Jinbe was uniquely qualified to make Moria look like a joke. Moria's zombie soldiers can only be defeated by forcing them to taste salt, or presumably through total bodily destruction.
Taking out Moria's zombies is like disarming Mihawk of his sword or depriving Jinbe of moisture to manipulate. He has a style and "weapons" that he uses with it, which was to build an army of unstoppable zombies. It already sucked pretty bad for him that his whole army, including the various elite zombies and the one super weapon he put together, was defeated outright by the Strawhats in a notably vicious and hard fought campaign. He put a lot of effort into creating a fighting force, which were then wiped out to a man.
So yeah… Moria in addition to the wounds he only just got over, was militarily crippled before he entered the war. So... yeah.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure that Moria is going to come back heavily surgically modified by Hogback.

Most Powerful, That would certainly be Doflamingo atm. He is probably the character with the most influence in the entire OP world as of now. He pretty much has the underworld in his grasp wich makes him "The Fifth Yonkou" in a way since every other yonkou depends on his services and he can tilt the favour towards the one he prefers, giving him immensive power and influence in the new world. Most importantly he has the privaleges of the shichibukai, and he is a Tenryuubito wich means he can do whatever he want to whoever he wants, has more power than the fleet admiral and world gouvernment. This means that he basicly has both the pirate world and the marine /land part of the world in his pocket. Like any Celestial Dragon, He could probably have mihawk turned into a slave if he wanted to.
In terms of STRENGHT, they are probably about equal, except mihawk has plot armor that means he must stay alive until zoro can fight him at the end of the series, so there wont be an arc where luffy fights him. Doflamingo is pretty damn good at cutting things up to, except he is more like a surgeon with his strings while mihawks slashes have a larger area of effect but are are less accurate (Luffy was able to doge them before learning observation haki). Plus he can turn Mihawk into his puppet with his DF if he wants.
Not to mention a former admiral failed to hurt DD and was apparantly too scared to engage him further and just let DD who was in a bit of a hurry walk away without further intervening.

It's preferable and much more plausible that they would vary wildly in power. Unless you think good storytelling would be having a limited resource like Shichi candidates all somehow line up in power and be the exact ideals the WG was looking for every time.
As well as all have their powers and influence based on pure fighting power, rather than really obvious other skills like Moria.
The only thing I don't like about it, is how convenient it was for Luffy, his crew, and the narrative.
The whole Grand Line is a giant sieve. The further along you go, the stronger the pirates are on average because they're all trying to find One Piece.
And they met Mihawk first, who is probably the strongest.

Yet when a Lord once thought about rebelling against his Rule over the westerlands, he sent him a bard that sang the legendary ballad about the grim fate of the first family who tried to oppose him, wich caused the lord to imidiately bend the knew and plead fealty and alliegiance to Tywin again. THAT is Power. Was his son Jamie Lannister the most powerful Man in the Realm because he was the most feared and skilled Warrior (While he could still hold a sword)? No, people even publicly dishonored him by calling him Kingslayer.

And if you deny the priveleges and influence of being a Shichibukai (a group of people who stand above the world government, are unaffected by every law and can make new laws as they please, and turn whoever they want into their slave, you need to go back and read a couple of Arcs. And it is stated that DD is has so much influence within the underworld that he alone is able to tilt it in one crews favour if he wants to. Law essentially describes him as the brick top of the underworld. altough there are other brokers, he is the largest by quite a big margin.
And like i said i consider DD and Mihawk to be on about the same level of strenght (defeintely top 2 shichibukais that we have seen so far) but they have their own strenghts and weaknesses. DD is very versatile while Mihawk is probably a nightmare for all Logia users.
Why is this like the 4th time you try nitpick apart one of my posts without really paying attention to what i am saying, Shadowgreed? i get the vibes that you just like to pick on new members, you find that kind of attitude in people on all sorts of forums. But im giving you the benefit of the doubt since you seem like an overall intelligent guy with very good knowledge and memory of the manga, so i will assume that it comes down to simple misunderstanding.

On a different subject though, it seemed like the only body part Jozu was able to control was his eyes, when he looked up and saw DD sitting on his back through the corner of his eyes. This seems to be a pattern, with Characters maintaining their ability to talk and stir their vision. The same thing applied to Atmos, The Vice Admirals in Marejois in his DDs first scene, and Bellamy.
If DD kept Jozu stationary just because he wanted to sit on his shoulders to get a good angle for a conversation with Crocodile, or if he was unable to exercise his full pupeteer powers due to Jozu partially resisting it is something you would have to ask Oda in order to get a straight answer. It might be the case that DD only managed to take away Jozus own control, but Jozu being too strong/using strong haki to prevent DD from gaining access to his body like a puppet. hence the middle of the road "stationary" mode.

I view this as a possible part of his downfall, and very much agree. He has connections but he lacks diplomancy, he could use his connections to fortify his position but hes too damn proud, and he probably doesnt know how to use his WG connections without involving threats. He is wasting the ace chards hes got.

Damnit im sorry for the confusion about the 5th yonkou thing. its kind of an old IRL meme starting with the Beatles, where people would describe their Producer George Martin as the "5th Beatle" because he signed them against the wishes of much of the record company, provided them with high level instruments, influenced their style with his own music and even played string instruments in some recorded songs. He is the one who The Beatles refer to as Sgt. Pepper in their songs. Since then people have always kinda searched for a "Fifth X" whenever a succesfull quartet appears anywhere in anything. A similiar IRL meme was born when Yoko Ono married John Lennon wich broke up the band, causing people to describe women who come between men and their famous and much loved work as "the Yoko Ono of X" (some say Hancock is the Yoko Ono of OP… just kidding)

The guy obviously puts more into his pyshical fighting so i cannot disagree here. But DD has been shown to posses superhuman speed and agility and a versatile DF that probably ranks top 5 in paramecias (Gura Gura no mi and Fujitoras Gravity thing being the strongest, i think). speaking about their phsysiology, DD is like 100CM taller than Mihawk. Not saying its affecting strenght its just a wierd little fact that he is so big.

So far everyone who DF has controlled has been able to do some things on their own, like talk, yell for help etc. i dont see why jozu shouldnt be able to move his eye. the fact that he looks at DF through the corner of his eye, instead of like, turning around and trying to throw him off or something. Why is he standing like he is incapable of moving if DF wasnt able to affect him? if you read events again, can see Jozu attacking Crocodile and taking him by surprise. Then Jozu starts turninging into diamond again and charge thorward, then it cuts to doflamingo making a stroke with his finger, and all of a sudden Jozu is standing there unable to go through with the attack, and then allows DD to use him as a chair for some time.
The only way to make sense of this is that DD froze Jozu. Otherwise, why suddenly have Jozu stop, why show Doflamingos finger moving before it happens, and why does Jozu just let doflamingo sit on him, doing nothing except moving his pupil a bit during the entire time until Crocodile uses Sables.
Look up when he used the ability on baby 5. When he is talking to Vergo and she is pissed at him for killing her latest BF. she was also able to struggle against it (DD tried to make her aim her guns at her own head). but her arms still shaked alot and you could see on her face that she had a hard time, and she barely manages to hold off for a few seconds until they aim thowards her head, and DD lets go of her.
So its obvious that the stronger opponant, the less effect it has. But obviously it was enough to prevent Jozu from moving. So with that logic it would most surely not work on a general. But it worked 100% on atmos who is also a division commander so there is no reason why it must have zero effect on Jozu.

That's easily explained by the time he was introduced into the plot, right at the beginning when depicting named characters didn't include drawing them a couple heads bigger than the rest. See most OP characters introduced past East Blue and even he is big already with his 198cm. Though Doffy is even towering above Kuzan.

Probably. i also thinks he looks better this way, it kinda highlights that he is just a regular man (with hawkeyes) who has an unmatched talent for swordplay. if he was pusing 2,50 or 3meters like mihawk, just imagine how ridiculously big his sword would have to be to have the sane proportions as it has now compared to his lenght.
making him monster tall would also make him look more a tad "barbaric" if that makes sense, it suits his character better to be slender and average height. Puts more emphasis on the big ass sword he is carrying. and he should be around zoros lenght to begin with imo.

To be fair, Jinbei was the second Shichibukai introduced through word of mouth, croc was the second we saw in the flesh :) but you are absolutley right. i guess jinbei just looks short because he is so wide that the proportions confuse you. Han is defenitely a better example.
but it does feel like the sizes of the characters vary from arc to arc. Hancock looked gigantic during marineford for some reason while moriah looked way smaller than usual in some pictures.

Speaking of tigers, did you know that there is no a single documented case of a lion ever killing a tiger of equal health and growth? Tigers and Lions collide quite frequently in the wild, as well as being pitted against each others in ancient roman animal arenas. The Siberian tiger is a damn monster, reaching over 110kilos heavier than the heaviest Lion subspecies, and have 20% the body mass.
The scary part is that while Lions groups in groups and depend on overpowering its prey by leaping and holdinig it down with its strong formidable frontal set of legs while basicly starting to prey on its victim alive, a tiger has faster reflexes and has to be cornered in order to be caught. in a 2011 zoo accident a tiger was able to take out a leaping, attacking lion with one swift precisive swipe aimed at the Lions Jugular Vein, completley ripping the throat apart causomg the lion to die in mid-air and spray blood all over the Zoo cage and lose 70% of its blood before the caretakers managed to get the Tiger sedated and intervene, with the small "Passing cell" being covered in a pond of lion blood reaching 3cm.
