Stan Lee has passed away at age ninety-five
-
RIP Stan Lee … That one hurts man ...
-
Just heard the news. Yeah, that really sucks, but not exactly unexpected. Farewell to one of the most important figures in the history of comics. R.I.P. Stan
Excelsior!
-
Rip, thought he had a few more years left. :(
-
I… I'm not ok with this.... I can't stop crying at work...
RIP Stan Lee... Excelsior....
-

-
Excelsior. .
-
Well dam
That day many dreaded has finally come to pass…. -
Stan was 75 when I started reading comics. I've had 20 years to prepare myself for his death. I'm not sad; in fact, I'm relieved that I won't wake up every morning expecting to hear the bad news. I hope he and his wife are reunited.
-
-Sigh- What can be said, I knew it was coming but the heartbreak is no less hurtful. At the least he's with his wife, Steve Ditko and Kirby again. Indeed excelsior and RIP, Stan T_T7
-
Damn, I knew it was gonna be anytime now, but losing Stan Lee still hurts.
-
RIP Stan, thank you for all the years of entertainment and amazing, inspiring characters you introduced to my life. Your life and work will be celebrated for decades to come. Rest easy.
-
sniff If this dude doesn't get put on the Oscar's "who died this year" segment I will be furious.
That said, I have a feeling everyone will be saying "Excelsior" for a long while now. RIP, man.
-
I think it's always sad to an extent when a legend dies; even if he wasn't active anymore it's sort of the end of an era and a reminder of mortality. But it's hard to mourn when there's so much to celebrate about his very long life and career, full of incredible things and some weird-as-hell ones.
-
Excelsior in Peace Mr. Lee :(
-
Just gonna leave some of my favorite Stan Lee appearances here.
Mallrats
!
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2!
Simpsons!
And of course, the Cameo King's namesake!
-
Farewell, Stan. You were an awesome dude who help created some of my most favorite heroes of all time and I'm saddened that you're gone.
RIP :cwy:
-
Douglas Rain voice of Hal from Space Odyssey passed
-
Man i was just thumbing thru my marvel masterworks prints. Stan Lee gets alot of shit on account of the Kirby and Ditko situations but nobody wrote hammier stuff than him and it can't be replicated. Even if he didn't always do the lion's share he put a certain flavour on it all and roped it all into this marvel universe and made it feel huge and welcoming. Good writer, great editor but most of all an even greater showman.
-
RIP Stan Lee :(
-
This loss is gonna hurt for a long time. All I can say is that his impact on the comic book industry was nothing short of revolutionary. He will continue to live on through his characters, worlds and stories that he created. Rest in peace, true believer.
Excelsior!

Oof. Stephen Hillenburg, creator of Spongebob, died today at 57.
Oof. Yeah, this one hurts. I mean, we all knew he had ALS, so it was just a matter of time, but still.
Obviously, SpongeBob has become an iconic show and it was one of the best and funniest from my childhood (you know before it succumbed to Simpsons Syndrome). So here's to the guy who gave me, and many others, hours of wonderful entertainment.
R.I.P. Stephen

RIP

Spongebob just missed being a part of my childhood (it started when I was a freshman), but you cannot deny the impact this guy has had. RIP.
