@RomanceDawn:
Big Mom being taken out by the Marines, Red Hairs by Black Beard and Beast Pirates by the Straw Hats was a theory going around since Zou but you definitely brought up something I had not considered before. The Vinsmokes, the Marines and the Reverie. I kept trying to think of believable scenarios where the government gets wind of the Totland territory in a weakened state. With the Vinsmoke's escaping the death wedding and attending the Reverie, there is no reason why they wouldn't lie about the events of this arc, claim they were captured in route to the Reverie, barely escaped with their lives, and while they were there witnessed how the Straw Hats severely weakened Big Mom's forces. Why wouldn't the Marine's mobilize some units and attempt to go after Big Mom with all that mysterious unprecedented power Jinbe mentioned back at Fishman Island?
And the Marines showing up for Big Mom's upheaval would make for one killer introduction for Ryokugyu. Assuming he or she will not be revealed at the Reverie, which is very probable in its own right.
I just wonder what Caesar's fate will be considering that he has that two week deadline. That seems like a rather random date to give, almost as if Oda has a curveball up his sleeve. I was all for Caesar going to Wano Country and Kaido wanting him for more SMILEs, but there's a chance that if the Marines invade Totland, then they may gain custody over Caesar as well if he stays. Which would most likely get him to reunite with Vegapunk. Who is most likely going to get some sort of arc centric around him with how Smoker and Tashigi are going to wherever he is with the Punk Hazard kids. And maybe, just maybe, the Revolutionaries and CP0 might show up there too since the latter has been investigating the former, and I expect Kuma, the former Revolutionary, to be elaborated on a LOT when we finally have the Straw Hats meet Vegapunk. And we need Luffy to meet Dragon, Franky to meet Vegapunk, and Jimbei to meet Koala again at some point.
But that's just the hazy blueprint I have up for now. The Reverie can obviously be a HUGE game changer for the series. Although we might not know its potential repercussions until the aftermath of Wano Country.
