Fuck me, The End is going to be the new Deicide, hmm? It even follows the same beats!
That Bach's super strong, he makes Ichigo look like a total chump, then he just up and leaves…..why? What is it with villains in this manga? He can pretty much snap his fingers to kill Ichigo at this point, but no, let's ensure that our hero can find a way out (somehow) and kick your ass.
People were predicting on like 4chan and reddit and stuff that Bach's demise would come via Hollow poisoning after absorbing Ichigo's power, and/or his mother would speak to him in the void. Both of these things could still happen, but now they're going to feel tacked on because they didn't happen at this opportune moment.
And again, what in the world is taking Isshin and Ryuken?! Where's our last minute training and deus ex machina to turn this around, you two? Bach's getting away and you haven't done jack shit.
The odds of this manga ending a high note or with dignity are depleting fast with bullshit chapters like this.
Solid 100 chapters material.
I really don't think Jump would announce a "we're getting close to the end!" page if there was 100 chapters left. I predict 20-35.
Almost all of the Stern Ritters are dead, most of the Gotei has been ignored or is out of commission, Bach is super powerful….I can't see Kubo even bothering to show off remaining Bankais or Grimmjow's power just for the heck of it. It really won't make a difference against the bad guy.
Yhwach absorbing all the quincy powers at this point in time may be Kubo's laziest instance of writing yet, and that's saying something.
At least the end is in sight.
Ichigo got bleached. The purpose of the manga have been fulfilled. It's been fun, gg!
Too bad Gerard couldn't escape the Bleach curse. If you're a big towering thing that just won't die, eventually Kubo will just go "lol" and kill you unceremoniously.
How can bach absorb hollow powers when those literally are the antigenes to quincies
You do realise he has basically transcended pretty much everything and everyone at this point right? He has god like power, you really think hollow powers at this point are going to be harmful to someone like him?
Ichigo got bleached. The purpose of the manga have been fulfilled. It's been fun, gg!
Nice one. So other than Bach draining all of Quincy powers from every fucking one what happened in this chapter? I mean I know nothing happened. But can someone summarise the dialogue of Ishida? Did it hold any purpose other than to declare Ishida never was a betrayer.
http://theappliedlogic.blogspot.com/2016/06/bleach-analysis-announcement.html
You just had to go and write that. Lol
Well, that renders the entire Giganthor fight pretty much pointless. The same can be said of Askin and Pernida. Though at least Tweety Baro is seeing some consequences in his attack on Soul Society.
lol. So in the end, he ditched everyone took their powers, including Haschwalth his every present right hand man & his "other half" Sucks to be him. And we still got no clue wtf he even plans to do. Yes he wants to destroy everything and re-create the world, but why? What lead him down this path? And wtf is the SK?
Haschwalth's death was beautifully ironic, in a way. Bazz-B's gonna be rolling in his grave now, if he's dead.
But yeah, this chapter reeked of Kubo writing himself into a hole with Gerard and Haschwalth and using an atrocious plot device for the second time.
Soul King?
Maybe Hasch isn't dead, just lost his power or something. Maybe now Ishida can fight him evenly.
Speaking of which, why is there no pillar of light above Ishida? Him being not into it is enough to spare him? How come Bach didn't notice he dodged his absorption again? What purpose did recruiting Ishida even serve? This is Bleach i remember and love.

I very much doubt Haschwalth is dead. Only Giant Quincy Thor got hit directly by the light and died…....
I would've liked more if Kubo named the remaining chapters in a countdown way like he did in Soul Society against Byakuya, or named every THE END chapter with some whatever poetic words after it. Having THE END 2 is really just a wasted opportunity to have at least some creativity with chapter titles, since with those Kubo used to put some creative or weird choices and it was somewhat fun at times.
Leaving the portal he somehow made comments itself too.

Uryuu is immune to that power, hence why he was the only Quincy ever in history for that power to not work on, which explains his letter "A" power "The Antithesis"

Well, we did cut away before we saw the light do anything. So maybe he escaped somehow it like Bazz, or maybe he died, remains to be seen.
Also, I noticed they blotted out the number of chapters till the (actual) end on the cover; it looks mostly like 30 from what I can tell.
Kubo is the king of cop outs for killing miracles guy through absorption, I almost cried from laughter when I saw that near unstoppable juggernaut being rendered to bones instantly for what seems to be nothing more than plot convenience.
Wow, that's a whole 'nother level of uncaringly terrible. It's either Kubo's editor doing their job poorly or they stopped caring altogether. Bleach might have been torment to both of them in past years so they have cared less about the story/art quality and more about getting a chapter done and released weekly.
Talk about the real "THE END", anyone remember when exactly did Naruto start its own final countdown?
I have a hunch that somehow losing his quincy and hollow powers made him stronger, simply because his shinigami powers are now pure and white (and because something this awful suits Kubo).
I hope we don't get a Final Shiro Getsuga Tensho…or an even worse asspull.
If you ask me,the best ending would be that Bach wins.
Well, this merry fusion might be coming to an end before we hit the 10000 posts after all.
I love that Kubo incorporated the Point of No Return you see often in Video Games, specially at the end of Skyward Sword.

Considering that I felt an all white "Heart" page was coming and that Kubo literally made one of his chapter titles be "Bleach my Soul" (the end of Aizen), this is totally possible.
At the same time, this arc has made a big deal about Ichigo being a mutt I mean inconsistent mess I mean hybrid and part of him getting "stronger" was to strike the balance between his components.
Uryuu is immune to that power, hence why he was the only Quincy ever in history for that power to not work on, which explains his letter "A" power "The Antithesis"
Wait, Uryuu is immune to that? Oh right, how could I have forgotten that since it was the only reason why Bach invited him to join. :ninja:
I just figured he might not be immune to it anymore, seeing how he drank Bach's blood. Bach gave him his power. Just like he gave it to all the other SR. He took it away from all the others. Except for him. But it doesn't mean anything any more and Bach doesn't even care. I'd expect Bach would at least address the fact that Ishida is a Qunicy sponge that can't depart from the power he was given. But nope, apparently he's content to open the gate to the Dark World and go and wait Ichigo on the top of a pyramid or something.
Anthithesis doesn't explain squat because supposedly he never had it before and it doesn't work by making the user immune to crap.
What I love is that Uryu's mother continues to be unmentioned by him. Isn't that why he's "defecting" to begin with? Because Bach's purging killed Kanae Katagiri?
Also not using at all Royal Guards - Squad 0 - feels like a total waste with them being hinted to be an absolute peak of what Shinigamis can become.
LMAO. The funny thing is they were so underwhelming that you forgot he already did use Squad 0. They were all wiped out by ONE of Bach's elite guard. After that you are probably wondering then how are these "regular" shingami holding their own against them. Because of bad writing, even if you are the Cut Man to Electric Man, Flash Man to Quick Man, you should not be able to defeat Bach's Elite Guard.
How can bach absorb hollow powers when those literally are the antigenes to quincies
I was wondering the same thing, how is he absorbing your hollow powers. He should really only be able to absorb your Quincy and Shingami powers, unless they are taking the liberty that Bach is now the creator of everything. Then I could understand why he would be able to absorb his hollow powers.
Question why would Bach basically absorb all his "children" just to go into the past, why not leave them in the present to terrorize the shingami's. Naturally he does this just as Haschwalth is finally going to kill Ishida. I wish Bach didn't absorb everyone, I'm sure Mayuri would of loved to perform experiments on Perinda and Askin.
@Kaido:
Haschwalth's death was beautifully ironic, in a way. Bazz-B's gonna be rolling in his grave now, if he's dead.
Bazz should be dead along with all other Quincy since they all should of been absorbed.
I think the last speech by Bach was great, I am now going to go back in time and make your happiest moment shitty. DAMN that sucks. Imagine you are in the mist of getting laid then Bach shows up and turns the girl or guy hedious. How cold blooded is that? LMAO.
Surely I'm not the only one who still hasn't got a fucking clue what Juhabach, or whatever his name is, is actually planning? What does he want? Seriously, what is the point in all this shit?

I ask the same question to villains like Kefka and Kuja.
The final villain wins, everyone dies Bach laughs at what Madara couldn't accomplish, it's over.
I'd say no more than like 20ish chapters left honestly.
I totally knew Gerard will be sacrificed by Yhwach next time we saw him for absolutely no reason. Harribel all over again because things can't happen just once in Bleach.
I'll guess 20 left. Just to end it at 700. Although that kinda sucks because I don't think Kubo will close plot threads.Or at least not in a satisfying way.

He wouldn't anyway :ermm:
You know guys, there's not much point in telling us how many chapters are left when you're…not gonna tell us how many chapters are left.
Well, I guess we know the ending is fairly close anyway. And shit chapter shit.

I think the number was blacked out so nobody would realize it's three digits.
I also realized this is the second time Yhwach has eliminated all his faithful underlings before ascending to a higher plane of existence.

Get ready for Bleach Shippuden Z

You're not the only one.
After all this we still don't know what his end game is.
He had immense hatred towards the Spirit King, he killed him, absorbed him, built a new nation up in the Royal Palace, then absorbed the remaining Quincy powers and departs to destroy Soul Society and the Real world. Askin in his fight vs Uryuu did let on that he was interested to see what kinda world he'd make, so
it seems maybe he will recreate the world in his own image, 1 that benefits him, perhaps a world of Quincy only, and when they die their power returns to him and it becomes an never ending source of power for him…
At the very least I think getting his mojo sucked out makes Ichigo no longer a Manbearpig.
Now he's just a pig.
I ask the same question to villains like Kefka and Kuja.
Yeah, at least they were entertaining though. Bach is just boring.

Yep, all things that he has done. Why? Beats me..
Assuming the last chapter will be 700, bleach should end around November-December.
About the chapter, I thought ichigo's hollow power was connected to his shinigami power.
Gerard defeated unceremoniously, and by Bach. Just par for the course.
Hashbrowns continues to be unshakingly loyal to Bach. Hooray for lemmings.
And finally, what was the purpose of giving ishida a spot in Bach's royal guard, naming him his successor? Nothing that's what.
I disagree with the use of the word "defeated" in regards to Giganthor. He just got straight up murdered, rendering all the efforts of the people who'd been TRYING to defeat him meaningless
The final its gonna be FTK 2.0(Ywach vs Everyone), how boring.
The Gerald fight wouldve been the perfect timing for Shinji to show his bankai..
I ask the same question to villains like Kefka and Kuja.
Nihilism.
They want to watch the world burn. That's it. They're basically the Joker.
Bach and his flunkies on the otherhand act like there's some great plan behind it all despite the fact none of them have said what beyond a nebulous "recreate the world."

So Yhwach is the Cyrus to the Sternritters' Team Galactic. Yhwach has big plans and his mooks follow them to the hilt despite having no idea what the plan actually IS
Yes, yes, Ywach can do everything. Just unlock Aizen from his chair so the plot can go somewhere…
And seriously, did Ichigo just lose his powers again? Pls Kubo... is this the third time? or fourth?
I have a feeling that Bleach will last maybe at maximum 25 more chapters or maybe 18 more chapters before possibly doing 1 or 2 epilogue chapters
Since Kubo seems to Like to mainly do baby step progress around moments like this to build up the rematch
cause i feel Ichigo will awaken some "True Synchro Form of Hollow & Quincy & Shinigami Powers" or unlock a "Pure God Shinigami" Form
but what would Suprise me abit is that Aizen be the one to help Ichigo regain Power.
Well at least Bleach is going to end soon.
I ask the same question to villains like Kefka and Kuja.
Kefka's motivation was that he was used as a Magitech guinea pig, went insane because of the massive trauma involved, and wanted to murder everybody as a result. It's just that, outside of a single NPC, most of that was referenced in a roundabout way by other people, much of it can be easily missed, and he never delves into it himself beyond ranting about his hatred for the idea of loyalty and friendship; nobody liked him so he had no friends and all being a loyal soldier ever got him was being tortured into madness. .
Kuja, on the other hand, did go into his reasons; it's just that his reasons didn't make any damn sense at all so he's more like Bukbukbagach.
I disagree with the use of the word "defeated" in regards to Giganthor. He just got straight up murdered, rendering all the efforts of the people who'd been TRYING to defeat him meaningless
What about individual growth and camaraderie?
I would enjoy if Kubo would end Bleach on chapter 777.
It would be enough of space for Kubo to show rest of Bankais and tie all loose ends.
Kuja, on the other hand, did go into his reasons; it's just that his reasons didn't make any damn sense at all so he's more like Bukbukbagach.
I don't remember too much about FF9, but I thought he knew he had a limited lifespan and just wanted to take everything down with him. Or that doing whatever he did was going to extend his life or something.
