She didn't die, Smoker heard her banging inside her coffin when he was walking by the graveyard. She just lost her memory and most of her swordskills from the fall :ninja:

I wonder if the "Tashigi looks like Kuina" storyelement has any relevance except that one meeting in Loguetown in which Zoro was too confused to do anything.

Wait till it's blamed on amnesia Sabo style. The reemergence of Kunai from an awakened Tashigi. [emoji19] [emoji57]

Most of these questions already have answers. Maybe not fleshed out answers, but most of them have answers.
[hide]Florian triangle-There's big monsters inside it
How is Bonney running around loose?-she used her supernova skills to make a daring escape at some point, like the dozens we've seen all the supernovas do at this point. Same as the guys that escaped Kizaru on Saobondy.
Will Buggy ever find Captain John's treasure?-He probably got it during the timeskip since Luffy gave him the map and he had a full crew of pirates to do the work.
Luffy's mother.-Dadan, as far as he, or the readers, are concerned.
Will we ever get the full story behind the new Admiral draft?-They needed more power so they did a military draft. Just like the real world.
Will the Zoro/ Tashegi storyline ever go anywhere?-Its already gone plenty of places. But yes, it should have some resolution at the end of the series like everything else. While its unlikely she'll ever defeat him in battle, they probably will work as a team near the end… and she will also either collect his swords, or entrust him with them as a legitimate protector. (Nevermind that he already destroyed one legendary blade...)
How does Blackbeard's body allow him to have more than one Devil Fruit?-Multiple theories on that one, legitimate unanswered question at this point. Possibly his devil fruit, but more likely he's got some freaky three way personality thing going on.
What's with that place that sucked up Capone when he entered the New World? -One of many crazy new world islands, just like the lightning island or the land of the giants.
What are the details behind Caesar's theft of Big Mom's research funds?- He stole some of her funds.
How can objects (Lassoo, Funkfreed) eat Devil Fruits? -Vegapunk is a brilliant scientist that knows all about devil fruits and used a new technology.
What are Snakenecks? -Guys with long necks. What's Kuma's actual agenda (why he decided to become a Pacifista and have his consciousness erased)?-To prove his loyalty beyond all doubt in his undercover mission.
Will the Emerald City that Bellamy mentioned ever be shown/visited?-Possibly, but given that it was the stuff of pure legend and mentioned alongside the city of gold (which we've already seen) probably not. It's a big world, we're never going to see everything.
How about the "Nakrowa, island of dreams"? -Probably in he epilogue of the series when we see every character ever having achieved their dreams and we catch up with Montblanc.
What's Bonney's connection to Akainu? What's her connection to Whitebeard?- She's important to the government, either by her bloodline or because of her fruit. Whitebeard was a great pirate that did a lot of good things to earn the love of a lot of people.
Mariejois's "National Treasure"- Likely tied to the void century and the dark secret of the the world government that will spark the great war at series' end that the One Piece knows all about.
What will become of the situation between the Blackbeard Pirates and the Revolutionaries?-They'll meet up and fight in between arcs two or three story arcs from now, likely off camera. So, in about three years.
What is "Booze Iron" and who is behind it?-Its a new better kind of iron.
Why does Kinemon hate dragons?- Because dragons messed with Wano, causing lots of death and destruction. Likely Kaidou in particular with a dragon DF.
What is the deal with the moon? - It's a giant rock orbiting the planet that has enel and a bunch of a robots on it.
What is Uranus? -The third ancient weapon, likely a sky based weapon. We know the other weapons are seakings and a massive boat.
When will the reverie happen?- "Soon." in the story. Actual series wise, probably near the end because that large a collection of world leaders is perfect for sparking off big end-game events.
What is the One Piece- A large collection of gold coins, and a poneglyph that tells the true story of the void century. With possibly All Blue stashed beneath it.
What's the deal with D. people- They were an alien winged race, that fought with the natives of the planet and were for the most part slaughtered, but their memory lives on.
What happened in the void century- There was a war between the natives and the winged people.
What stops people from getting to Raftel- Lots of things. Possibly timing of the moon, sea kings, its in the sky, its below the ocean, its surrounded by lightning, its on the back of something moving, its the harsh back end of reverse mountain... lots of things. We'll know when we get there.
What's the deal with Enies Lobby. No, really.-You need to clarify. It's a detention center for holding pirates before sending them to Impel Down.
Joy Boy and Noah's Ark- Hundreds of years ago (during the void century?) someone saw that Fishman Island would one day be destroyed, made a promise with the seakings to help save all the people.
What is a devil fruit and how do you steal the power of one of them from a user- Vegapunk will tell us in time what the origins are. And you steal it by killing them and having a similar fruit nearby for it to transfer to. THat was was answered on Punk Hazard.
Why/how can Blackbeard have more than one power-That was an earlier question.
Kuma's history-That was also an earlier question. What is Crocodile's secret and why does Ivankov know it- He used to be a girl, which he despises because he was weak back then, experiencing the same sort of feelings Kuina had about the world, and also Whitebeard envy. Ivankov knows because he's the one that changed him.
What is Mariejoa's secret known by Doflamingo-This was also an earlier question.
What and where is Uranus, the third ancient weapon-Seriously, ask a new one already. What is the mission of Kinemon & co, and why is Momonosuke "a card"- Get Momo out of Wano while there was danger going on and protect him, because Momo is likely the son of the shogun.
What's the deal with Sanji's "Only Alive" bounty- Brand new question, no way of knowing, but we'll probably know soon. Fun answer is his new camera picture makes him look like another person (similar to the Duval situation) or he's been recognized... as an actual prince. Hijinks ensure.
What happened at Big Mom's tea party-The bomb went off. The strawhats, and Jinbe, are in for a world of blame.
Whether Jack retrieved Doflamingo-Of course he did. Dofla isn't going to rot in Impel Down the rest of the series.
Why is Aokiji allied with Blackbeard-Because he's one of the big chaotic powers and needs a close eye kept on him... and because he doesn't agree with the current Marine situation. Its presumably a double agent sort of situation.
What is the incident Luffy's fleet will cause-Big battle with emporers. Or the great war at the series' end.
The current status of possibly important characters, mainly Moria, Vergo and Monet-Moria is in hiding. Vergo and Monet aren't important, but they'll be alive and well in the next cover story most likely.
Who is Lola's mom- A big pirate in the new world. Common speculation is Big Mom cause of the lips on the flag, but really there's at least three candidates at this point, including Elmy who was one of Whitebeard's allies.
Kaidou VS Kidd & co-He crushed them or completely ignored them as irrelevant.
Revolutionary Army VS Blackbeard pirates-This was also already asked.[/hide]
First post needs cleaning up, there's a lot of repeat questions.
And Kuina looking like Tashigi is purely to freak Zoro out. We've seen Kuina's grave, and her father sharing news about Zoro with her. It'd be a very strange thing to do for show to an empty grave.
-
Glad I thought of this one - Who is the father of Makino's child?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
And what has become of Marco and the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates?
-
Why does Kinemon hate dragons?- Because dragons messed with Wano, causing lots of death and destruction. Likely Kaidou in particular with a dragon DF.
What's the deal with D. people- They were an alien winged race, that fought with the natives of the planet and were for the most part slaughtered, but their memory lives on.

Not gonna touch some of your answers that were pretty much like trolling… But these three; do you actually have any proof? These are just theories.
Personally I'm gonna be disappointed if Jack retrieved Doflamingo, unless Oda gives it a really good explanation. Doglamingo is guarded by Fujitora, Tsuru and Sengoku and if they are beaten by some unknown "Jack" then they would look like weaklings.
-
Because its been mentioned that Kaidou has messed with Wano, and there's a whole lot of reasons to believe he's a dragon.
The entirety of Skypeia and then later Enel's coverstory is loaded with information about the void century, along with other little bits along the way over the last 18 years. We don't know details yet, because Oda is still holding those close to the vest, but yes, we have a pretty fair broad outline of what happened, and have had it for close to a decade now.
Yes, its "theories", but its solidly grounded theory based on evidence debated and refined over years, its not just wild mass guessing. Go read some of the other threads on this site if you want more detail.
And its obvious Jack rescued Dofla, because he's not going to rot in Impel Down the rest of the series and Oda isn't going to do another jail break from there. Oda set the scene up, and left us in suspense, and we'll get back to it. ALl Jack had to do was blow a giant hole in the ship and that would cause problems, three of the three people you mentioned are DF users. It doesn't mess with their credibility, it just adds to Jack, whatever his deal may be. Oda wouldn't have bothered setting the scene for a failed off-camera rescue attempt.
Not gonna touch some of your answers that were pretty much like trolling…
Simple answers for simple questions. Some things we're not ever going to get more detail than that, that's simply how it is. It's an off camera minor adventure with tertiary characters you need to fill in the blanks for yourself and extrapolate a little… not an unresolved plot that needs to be explained in detail.
ESPECIALLY wen it comes to the Supernova... who it was explained have all been just as lucky and resourceful as Luffy and his crew and had just as many adventures... we have to fill in the blanks that they had other adventures and escapes in the same manner Luffy always does, right down to escaping from admirals... but we're never going to see their journeys start to finish.
Really "how did blackbeard take two fruits" is the only real thing... and we already got the explanation out the gate. "He has an unusual body." What that means specifically, sure, we could use some more detail, which we'll get eventually... but we have a answer. If Oda never said another word, we'd still have an answer. He'll probably explain it properly when Blackbeard gets his third fruit, a zoan type that lets him take physical damage better.
Ditto the devil fruit question. We know Vegapunk specifically has all the answers and will provide them when the time comes to learn the origin, and that he's a great scientist with technology centuries ahead of the world, that has experimented with them... but we got a lot of answers at Punk Hazard about how they work and regenerate. We really only lack the actual origin at this point, which he have no real clues to other than them probably being related to the dead.
It's like watching LOST and expecting an explanation for every last thing. The show answered all the actual questions it brought up in the narrative, most of them by season 3 (of 6)... but people kept claiming it never explained anything because they wanted full blown five minute speeches about why a bird looked weird, or the identity of someone who talked to somebody once that then talked to someone else... three or four steps removed from the actual story, a completely insignificant no-name.... or because they couldn't piece together what was provided.
The narrative is only going to go so far, and while Oda is going to spoonfeed a lot, and will flat out state things closer to the end, you have to do a little bit of the work yourself for the small stuff, or if you're trying to figure it out ahead of time.

Too much speculation…some might be, like the treasure of Buggy...but others are probably gonna be answered later. Like Luffy's mom (come on, Dadan...trolling) or Bonney escaping/been freed (I mean, sure at Shabondy lots have escaped, but it was in the middle of an island with lots of civilians/pirates/marines...a big mess. Bonney was clearly captured by Akainu and brought back...)...and I just read the first 4-5... :P

Just because he said it doesn't mean it's true. There's enough oditties to think he might be saying that to protect his identity. As one would do if they were a bodyguard (one of three!) with the son of a noble on the run. Vivi and Viola pretended they weren't royalty too.

And no. Dadan isn't Luffys biological mom, but she's the one that counts in every way. (And fits Oda's description of Luffy's mother.) Same way Sabo an Ace are his brothers. Or Nami and Nojiko are the daughters of Bellemere.
And Supernovas are resourceful. Luffy's been captured and jailed plenty of times too. He always gets out through some method. We're to believe the other supernovas are equally as cunning, resourceful and lucky. She maybe didn't escape Akainu personally, but the first jailer she was given to. She escaped at some point during TWO YEARS, that's all that's needed for the story, it's NOT an unresolved plot. (Why she specifically was so badly wanted however, IS an unresolved plot.)
Its like wanting to see Fisher Tiger raid Marijoa. It would be cool to see an epic volume long battle of him climbing the red line and freeing the prisoners, and get a better view on him seeing slaves and meeting Hancock however briefly, but we don't have to actually see it in detail in the context of the Fishman Island flashback, just know that it happened and why. Or to know every last detail of each strawhat's training during the timeskip. Its a boring minor background detail. "They trained with these guys for two years." That's enough.
There's a vast difference between "unresolved plot" and "background detail I'd like to see."
If your question can be answered in two words that are common sense, it probably doesn't need to be detailed any further, especially when the series is THIS big and loaded with characters.

@Rex:
How'd Kaya's parents die? Kuro said that it wasn't his doing…
IIRC they died of illness.

Well, thanks a lot. That was pretty obvious to anyone. Still, her biological mother is somewhere out there and there's certainly a reason why she didn't take care of Luffy…. (she's dead, a prisoner, had amnesia...just a bitch...)
And Supernovas are resourceful. Luffy's been captured and jailed plenty of times too. He always gets out through some method. Of course it's not unresolved in the way that we know she's not "in jail" anymore. But since we clearly know that there's something about her that is still a mystery, that may also have to do with her freedom now. It's an hypothesis, but that doesn't rule it out completely. (and well, of course with her power she might have escaped if she was in a crappy jail…but in ID?)
Well, personally I don't really feel the necessity to see everything. But if there's something that matters to the plot, it would be nice to mention it like "oh, have you heard that X did Y?"… that's something already. I don't know if any of these are real issues, maybe like you say they are nothing at all and don't need to be discussed, but maybe yes as Oda likes to come out years/chapters later with connections or plot twists that we didn't remember. We just can't rule it out entirely as of now...
-
Who Luffy's real mother is, isn't important to the plot or narrative in any way, shape, or form, anymore than who Chopper's real mother is.
It's a nice detail, a bit of trivia, something that might be nice to know… and it might be fleshed out someday to give a bit more depth to Dragon.
But that doesn't make it an "unresolved plot."
Same with "how did X escape from Y". That applies to a LOT of characters.
If you're going to ask questions, and make a detailed list of "unresolved plot lines" or "things Oda really really should address in some fashion before the series ends" then you need to be asking the right questions, rather than the common sense stuff with easy throwaway answers. Otherwise it just belongs in the "questions that don't deserve their own thread" category, or the "What stories and OP-chars do you want to see after One Piece ended?" thread.
It's an important distinction.

I beg to differ, it's the main character's mother, it's indeed important. Sure it's not related to the actual plot in any way now, but the same could have been said for his father: who knew/cared who he was before he appeared and turned out to be the leader of the revolutionaries? Or his granpa that turned out to be a vice-admiral…
Same with "how did X escape from Y". That applies to a LOT of characters.
Well, as for Bonney she's hinted that has something to do with Akainu/Marines/Government that we don't know, so her escape might be suspicious, while others were just "normal prisoners"… That's just a theory of course.

I see what you mean, but let's not forget it's Oda. Sure these things could just be normal situations that don't need any particular explanation (and most of these probably are…like the Florian Tr. Monster it's probably just a monster and that's it, and we'll never get to know more about it), but you can't rule that out either, especially with Oda. Like Ace tattoo...when we first saw it we thought "hell, he's a dumbass. He misspelled his name!" and that was it, but then turned out to be something else entirely and have a deeper meaning. Sure we can't focus on every little detail, but with Oda you can never be sure...

..Not knowing who Luffy's biological father and grandfather were before Water 7 was not an unresolved plot point in and of itself. Before the revelations at Water 7 the story could have gone on just fine with out the blood relations being revealed. Same can be said about Luffy's biological mom. I would say if she gets name dropped and we find out she did something mysterious that still has unknown effects to the current time line, then we could call it an unresolved plot point.

This is especially true in Luffy's case considering how much of his childhood is already covered. In terms of Luffy's character growth, his biological mother seems almost irrelevent unless she is some sort of relative of an existing character (a serious stretch)
In a sense, the more important aspect would be "who was Dragon's wife?" Because if we ever get a Dragon flashback, his wife (or mistress) would have to be shown since it is somewhat important to the character development of Dragon's origin and how he became the revolutionary he is today and how/why Luffy was not part of it.
In other words, the origin of "Dragon the Revolutionary" is more of an unresolved plot point.

You're right in that in the way that it's not an unresolved plot, and I clearly stated that in my answer…but as we had no idea who his father or granfather were and what importance they had before they were revealed, I'm saiyng that maybe his mother is gonna be important too, given that it's Luffy's mom...

Well, Dragon hasn't been much more important in his growth, has he? Even Garp hasn't done much besides leaving him in Dadan's hands…are they irrelevant?

For a plot to be "unresolved" it must first have been started. Oda hasn't even mentioned Luffy's mom in the story, so I agree.. not an unresolved plot.
However, to say Luffy's mom is just a "nice detail" and it's "not important in any way, shape or form" is a bit presumptuous since you aren't privy to the future of the one piece story. It may not be part of the plot now, but it could be huge in the future.

Yeah it certainly could but it's still thin air with no mention at all in the comic. Could could could. Anything could be a huge plot point in the future but being nothing but an imaginative figure in our heads means she should not be listed as an unresolved plot point.

Sure. But my interesting discussion with Robby wasn't mainly about unresolved plot points as I stated earlier. I know it's the topic title, but it was interesting to talk about it (at least sometime there are costructive discussions). My point is that contrary to Robby's point of view where he states that these details/situations/issues are solved or unimportant, I say that it sholuldn't be taked for granted, especially with Oda. He's probably right that most of these "situations" don't need further developement and are just over, but some might have a further explanation in the future and as for now we can't really say for sure "it's this/it's not this".
-
Let us have fun robby, get your speculative facts out of here.
-

Certainly any random fact "could" end up being a huge plot point in the future, but some random facts are more conducive to building plot than others. Let's not forget that there are few(if any) "new" plot devices being created in todays media/literature. Every plot device has be used, than reused and used again countless times. We, as readers, pick up on this and speculate on random facts keeping in mind every story we have ever read/watched etc. When a characters mom(or parents in general) are specifically excluded at the start of the story with no mention as to their fates, this USUALLY means they will somehow be introduced back into the plot at some point in the future. This is the case with one piece and Luffy's father dragon, and very well could be the case with his mother too. We suspect this will happen because it almost ALWAYS happens in stories, because, as I said, every plot device has been used countless times. So, not knowing the fate/location/name/appearance/importance of Luffy's mom is far more likely to play a big part in the future plot than say… not knowing who choppers' parents are. They are animals who gave birth to a creature that is now human, the likelihood that they will show up in the story at all is minuscule. Luffy's(the main character) mom however, at this point could be anyone and do pretty much anything. She has been purposefully excluded from the story for unknown reasons. This is how other stories set up a huge reveal in the future(i.e this is exactly what happened with Dragon).
If you add in the fact that Oda has mentioned we will meet Luffy's mother in the future, this fuels the speculation that she may be important. Is this an unresolved plot? No, not yet. However, to deny it's validity as speculation is ridiculous.
Robby seems overly concerned with how we define this list, some people are just anal like this. I'd argue there's no need to be so specific in our definition of this topic. This should be a casual forum focused on fan-boying our beloved anime one piece. Not every one piece fan is a master of organization. Whether something is actually an unresolved plot point, or just a fact that usually results in a plot point in most stories is not important. What is important is that both are likely to play a part in future one piece chapters, which is pretty much what I think Omy was trying to get at with this list.
-
"Where do vivre cards come from and how are they made" is probably something that will be explained. And I wonder where Denden Mushis come from, but that's probably just an in-universe joke that will never be explained.
-
Not sure how to clean up the first post, if anyone is willing to do parts of it would be appreciated. ^^

Den Den mushi seems to be animals wich transmit powerful electromagnetic waves, that we humans managed to channel to connect and communicate with one an other.
Or at least that makes sense to me!
-
Lola in Thriller Bark already explained the origin of Vivre Cards and we know through SBS that Den Den Mushi is just a a normal snail with the mechanic marts as extra

I understand perfectly well what you and Omy are saying. Luffy's mother is not an unresolved plot point is all I'm saying. This is a pretty specific thread about things that have been named, established and been given some sort of mystery within the story itself. If we start asking about things that were never once brought up in the story it's self then we should merge this thread and the Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread thread. Of course many topics bleed into each other but if a list is being put together for people to follow and check off as the story progresses then let's keep it at TRUE unresolved plot points.
And Oda never once said we would meet Luffy's mother. You are thinking of the questions asked in the U.S. Shonen Jump. He left it open that there was a possibility, though the woman he described was 100% Dadan. She was the female who truly raised Luffy for most of his life. In that regard it's easy for me to see why there has been no mention of a biological mother in 18 years.
Mothers don't last long or appear at all for the main cast. If they were still around they'd influence the Straw Hats not to go on silly life threatening adventures.
Franky's parents, now that might be something else entirely.
-
Yeah… Franky's father HAS been specifically mentioned. "He was a famous pirate" is all we've gotten, but its still more of a hook than Luffy's mother, who has never even been mentioned.... beyond the fact that she must have existed at some point. The exact same thing applies to Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Chopper, and Brook's parents, as well as Robin's father, Franky's mother. They've never been mentioned, and they aren't all dangling plot points. They're minor background details that don't matter to them, they all have adoptive figures they treat as their true family.
Usopp meeting his father however, IS a legit unresolved plot point that has been promised resolution, right next to Luffy meeting with Shanks again.
Robin meeting her father, or Franky meeting his mother, is NOT an unresolved plot point. Franky meeting his father is a very minor potential hook for the future, but also not an unresolved plot. Learning something about Luffy's biological mother is a likely future point due to getting more background on Dragon, but it is neither dangling or promised... and would in fact work against Oda's ongoing theme that love is stronger than blood and the place Dadan holds. No one expects Brook's parents, at the ages of 150, to show up and be relevant to the story, do they?
Sanji having a mysterious past from a different blue could lead to something eventually, but nothing has been promised. Sanji having a bounty that says "Alive only"? Totally an unresolved plot.
Resolved plot- what is the One Piece? A pile of treasure and the true history about the void century, the world government and how they came to power.
Unresolved detail- what exactly does the true history say, that isn't simple black and white good and evil, and will start a world war?Unresolved plot- FINDING the One Piece and getting past whatever barrier guards it
There's a difference in those things and their order of priority and magnitude.
-
Not sure whether to call this an unresolved plot or not, but I'm really curious as to the real names of the Donquixote Pirate members. The only ones who seem to have had their real names revealed so far have been DD himself (code: Joker), Vergo (Corazon I), and Rosinante (Corazon II). I'm not so sure Monet and Sugar are the real names of the sisters but obviously with Baby 5 and Buffalo having revealed their names to Law, it still makes me wonder.
-
Sanji hats vs Big mom as unresolved. Since we are in the zou plot now and has real stuff going on with attackers, anyone still expect a flashback with the big mom fight?
-

I'd say someone will ask about it on SBS sooner or later.

@Eat:
I'd say someone will ask about it on SBS sooner or later.
That's what I figured is going to be the way that they are going to be revealed. Oda has revealed names of other characters in the SBS before, and since we're now on Zou, I don't think he's going to go to the trouble of going back in the manga to reveal names.
-
I've edited Robby's list for accuracy.
! Florian triangle-There's big monsters inside it. Sure, I suppose that answers what those monsters are or why the triangle exists.
! How is Bonney running around loose?-she used her supernova skills to make a daring escape at some point, like the dozens we've seen all the supernovas do at this point. Same as the guys that escaped Kizaru on Saobondy. I'm actually fine with this, I could care less about that plot much the same as you.
! Will Buggy ever find Captain John's treasure?-He probably got it during the timeskip since Luffy gave him the map and he had a full crew of pirates to do the work. fan fiction
! Luffy's mother.-Dadan, as far as he, or the readers, are concerned. I buy this, but Dragon's history SHOULD reveal a woman. i.e luffy's genetic mom i.e what we are curious about.
! Will we ever get the full story behind the new Admiral draft?-They needed more power so they did a military draft. Just like the real world. Agreed.
! (Nevermind that he already destroyed one legendary blade...) I like this fan fiction, it's good!
! How does Blackbeard's body allow him to have more than one Devil Fruit?-Multiple theories on that one, legitimate unanswered question at this point. Possibly his devil fruit, but more likely he's got some freaky three way personality thing going on. I agree with you opinion, but the fact that your trying to answer this question in a sentence is pretty unhelpful to everyone who's curious as to the official answer, from Oda.
! What's with that place that sucked up Capone when he entered the New World? -One of many crazy new world islands, just like the lightning island or the land of the giants. I agree with your opinion. But I'm pretty sure there's no hard evidence to support it..so..fan fiction.
! What are the details behind Caesar's theft of Big Mom's research funds?- He stole some of her funds. Wow haha expert analysis, that cleared up any curiosity I had.
! How can objects (Lassoo, Funkfreed) eat Devil Fruits? -Vegapunk is a brilliant scientist that knows all about devil fruits and used a new technology. So you know technology allows for this? Hm, sounds like bad fan fiction.
! What are Snakenecks? -Guys with long necks. But have you SEEN one… names can be deceiving. Met a guy the other day named happy and he was actually pretty unreadable. So... agreed... but still fan fiction.
! What's Kuma's actual agenda (why he decided to become a Pacifista and have his consciousness erased)?-To prove his loyalty beyond all doubt in his undercover mission. I'm of the same opinion! but there's just no gosh darn proof. #fanfic
! Will the Emerald City that Bellamy mentioned ever be shown/visited?-Possibly, but given that it was the stuff of pure legend and mentioned alongside the city of gold (which we've already seen) probably not. It's a big world, we're never going to see everything. Probably not?? That takes some huevos to say considering that list of 3 includes 2 "pure legends" that HAVE been visited. But either way we can't know at this point. Fannn Fick.
! How about the "Nakrowa, island of dreams"? -Probably in he epilogue of the series when we see every character ever having achieved their dreams and we catch up with Montblanc. Sloppy Fan Fiction imo, u could have done better.
! What's Bonney's connection to Akainu? What's her connection to Whitebeard?- She's important to the government, either by her bloodline or because of her fruit. Whitebeard was a great pirate that did a lot of good things to earn the love of a lot of people. Hmm, agreed.
! Mariejois's "National Treasure"- Likely tied to the void century and the dark secret of the the world government that will spark the great war at series' end that the One Piece knows all about. Wow, the fanfic is getting deep towards the middle haha solid theory though, good spekulatin
! What will become of the situation between the Blackbeard Pirates and the Revolutionaries?-They'll meet up and fight in between arcs two or three story arcs from now, likely off camera. So, in about three years. I'm glad you are so aware of such specific details. I should really stop raggin' on you so I can get the inside scoop.
! What is "Booze Iron" and who is behind it?-Its a new better kind of iron. Fair enough, im not really concerned with this anyways.
! Why does Kinemon hate dragons?- Because dragons messed with Wano, causing lots of death and destruction. Likely Kaidou in particular with a dragon DF. So kaidou is likely to have a dragon DF, what is the evidence for this? I'll give ya the first part though.
! What is the deal with the moon? - It's a giant rock orbiting the planet that has enel and a bunch of a robots on it. But aren't there 6 moons… perhaps the better question should be, will the fairy vearth make it's return to the story? You fact's are correct though, respect.
! What is Uranus? -The third ancient weapon, likely a sky based weapon. We know the other weapons are seakings and a massive boat. So, this allows us to know what it is… how?
! When will the reverie happen?- "Soon." in the story. Actual series wise, probably near the end because that large a collection of world leaders is perfect for sparking off big end-game events. Cool idea! I dig, nice speculation. However, if you are trying to use "actual answers provided by the manga" soon is the best we got.
! What is the One Piece- A large collection of gold coins, and a poneglyph that tells the true story of the void century. With possibly All Blue stashed beneath it. BOOM. WORTH IT. I can die in peace.
! What's the deal with D. people- They were an alien winged race, that fought with the natives of the planet and were for the most part slaughtered, but their memory lives on. Wow haha u serious? You can't be serious.. but you SEEMED so serious when you started.. hell. lol "don't forget to bring your evidence".
! What happened in the void century- There was a war between the natives and the winged people. You're not even trying now lol
! What stops people from getting to Raftel- Lots of things. Possibly timing of the moon, sea kings, its in the sky, its below the ocean, its surrounded by lightning, its on the back of something moving, its the harsh back end of reverse mountain… lots of things. We'll know when we get there. Fair enough. I suppose you could answer this question with every hypothetical possibility. That'll ease your peoples curiosity tons. Or ya know, you could add the question to the "unresolved plots" thread.. oh wait..
! What's the deal with Enies Lobby. No, really.-You need to clarify. It's a detention center for holding pirates before sending them to Impel Down. I think people are meaning to ask, "what's with the giant hole in the ocean. That aint normal."
! Joy Boy and Noah's Ark- Hundreds of years ago (during the void century?) someone saw that Fishman Island would one day be destroyed, made a promise with the seakings to help save all the people. So they knew it would be destroyed 1000 years in the future and apologized for failing to stop it with 900 years left to think through a plan?
! What is a devil fruit and how do you steal the power of one of them from a user- Vegapunk will tell us in time what the origins are. And you steal it by killing them and having a similar fruit nearby for it to transfer to. THat was was answered on Punk Hazard. You sure about that? Where's the solid hard unarguable proof? Otherwise.. fanfic.
! Why/how can Blackbeard have more than one power-That was an earlier question.
! Kuma's history-That was also an earlier question.
! What is Crocodile's secret and why does Ivankov know it- He used to be a girl, which he despises because he was weak back then, experiencing the same sort of feelings Kuina had about the world, and also Whitebeard envy. Ivankov knows because he's the one that changed him. Agreed haha but the point of this thread is.. like.. actual resolved plots in the story. -

I just realized we also don't know the names of Miss Goldenweek, Mr. 4, Miss Merry Christmas, Mr. 5, Miss Valentine, Mr. 7, Miss Father's Day, Miss Monay, and Mr. 9 :O

You seem a tad upset that no one agrees with your theory that a psychopath who experimented on children is joining the crew

Nah. Just giving back to Robby.
Why would I seem upset? Just tryna help a brother out, his list leaves a lot to be desired.

Yes. pulling up a tongue in cheek post I made two weeks ago and attacking it totally validates your serious multi-page theory about Monet joining the strawhats while also totally hurting my feelings.
You have completely dismantled the one sentence answers I gave based on author interviews, long term study and overall storytelling sensibilities that I can then back up with actual evidence and reasoning when pressed on a specific point, despite the entire point being about how irrelevant most of the questions were and the fact they were not requiring in-depth answers in the first place!
You sure showed me by using the very term of "fanfic" that I gave to your theory in another thread, against me! What a way to masterfully turn the tables on me! Oh my poor post from two weeks ago, how shamed I suddenly feel for making it! What a taste of my own medicine!

Im 100% pro cesar, venture on other forums, I assure you LOADS of people share the opinion.
He will have a redeeming arc, and be the scientist of the sh crew.
-
His current position makes much more sense: prisoner of the strawhat crew.
Rédemption you say ? On the contrary, he deserves punishment for the rest of the story.
Let him be the prisoner…for ever!
It gives him the same spotlight as a strawhat, but without the official title. -

I was talking about Monet actually, lol.
Caeser being a Strawhat would genuinely stop me reading OP. He's quite possibly the worst person in the manga. Great character, but terrible person.

CC is like buggy or caribou 2.0, comedic villains. Maybe he could join law, but even his crew looks made of good guys.
-
Where would he end up tho, he's the target to 2 of the yonkous, so I figure he will stay at least for a couple more arcs.

I imagine once Law gets all the use he can out of him, they'll leave him tied to a tree somewhere.

He made the smiles right? And Kaidou has 500 zoan smile army. I imagine Law wants to use him to take out the 500 army somehow, since he made them, he knows the weakness or something.

Hence what I meant by getting all the use out of him.

one unresolved plot point which i'm interested in is who exactly were those prisoners in punk hazard, and what will happen to them?were they even alive?they were like shown for only 1 panel,i think and never brought up again.some people theorised that they were level 6 prisoners frozen by aokiji, but nothing in the manga has been shown about them as far as i remember.

Whoa, I didn't mention Monet at all! What's she got to do with it??
I'd like your explanations if you are so confident! But, i'm sure I could reasonably reject them all as absolute proof. Because there's not absolute proof. There is reasonably arguable counter-proof present for each. Which means these are still un-resolved. Which means they belong in this thread, unanswered.
Your opinion about their importance/ relevance is noted though.
