I'd love to see a big set of 1 vs 1 fights between the Fleet Admiral -> Vice Admirals, and the straw hats.
In particular:
Luffy vs Sakazuki (For plot reasons and strongest vs strongest)
Zoro vs Issho (Swordsmen, plus Zoro has always done the getting stronger with Weights thing)
But most of all Sanji vs Borsalino.
An amazing fight could ensue by having Sanji push both his speed and his kenbunshoku to the absolute limit.
Picture a Fight taking place at a microsecond level, everyone in the background can be seen mid swing, slow-mo, while the two face off in what seems normal time.
Orlumbus throws Zoro again and Mr4 hits a home run.
i would like to see us progressing past dressrosa this fucking decade if it isnt too much to ask

Oh man, you'll fit right in with the new users.
Go rant about Birdcage like your life depends on it, that'll win you some more brownie points I'm sure.
Dressrose is taking an age but I would like for it to at least pack more in for the duration. It's not so much the lenght but the lack of development. It's biggest issue is the amount of characters. Once we're done here hopefully the next arc would be much tighter focused on fewer characters.
Well written fights.

His name says it all.
A dog as a sexual predator? Demonic poodle indeed. Not a poodle in pic but damn
More women in high places.
Law becoming Luffy's nakama although not being in the same crew.

this needs to be further emphasised
"here 4 spoilers" is an obvious troll. And very angry.
I would like to see references to the other Admirals when Sengoku was an Admiral and Kong was a Fleet Admiral. And any former Shichibukai that we have not heard about. I like to think there were more than we know about.

Wow, quoting oneself has to be one of the most loser things I've ever seen.
"No one listens to me, so I will just have to listen to myself".
I'm actually amused, which is why I even responded to this. Go on.

Well, I doubt Dressrosa will last 10 more years.

lol that avi. Its mingo as a chameleon, thats awesome
I would love to see marines, not treated like utter shit and made to look so weak for once. that would be really nice.

…they looked pretty good at Marineford.

The admirals did sure. But for the rest. They were treated like worthless, incompetent bunch of jobbers.

Onigumo helped to take down Marco, Momonga and Dalmatian smacked Luffy around, Smoker defeated Luffy comprehensively, Garp punched Marco out of the sky, Various marines fought evenly with Whitebeard's allied captains…
I could probably find more points where non-Admiral marines looked good at Marineford, but this is just off the top of my head.
Smoker defeated Luffy comprehensively.
But then Hancock, someone who can get past his intangibility, slapped him around, so kind of evens out.
@S.C.:

Well, she kicked him.
We don't really know how that played out.
Certainly not to the same degree as being pinned to the ground with a jutte in the throat.
Anyway, I wasn't saying the marines never looked bad.
Just pointing out that there have indeed been times that they've looked good, even those below the rank of admiral.

I believe she also maybe broke his Jutte with the same kick as well. I think, anyways. Sorry, my own point is I don't really think Smoker's that strong, but I understand what you mean.

Oh no, I 'd said Smoker is a pretty strong combatant.
His win - loss record has suffered recently, but mainly due to hax powers and plot armor or convenience.
Smoker's going to have one of the biggest roles in the series (likely leader of the "good marines") so he'll get a much nicer showcase of his abilities at some point.

I always Wonder if Luffy will have a marine rival( similar with Garp and Roger) if that person will be smoker or coby.
Based on the encounters of Garp and Roger, that they almost killed eachother many times, smoker and luffy fit that more. But Coby goes way back with Luffy and his role in marineford looked more important then Smoker's role.

Well Smoker has certainly lived up to the similarity of pursuing and cornering Luffy, as Garp did Roger.
I think Coby is just too nice, and has Luffy too tied up in his own personal history to ever be a true rival, at least conventionally.
A Sanji versus Zoro fight.
I'd like to see the following:
-Shanks and Mihawk's legendary duels in the past.
-Akainu's full fight against Aokiji
-Roger's fight against Whitebeard.
-How the ancient alliance defeated the great kingdom.
-Garp's fight with Roger.
…they looked pretty good at Marineford.
Who looks good or not is really a matter of opinion I think.
For me Marines as whole proved to be vastly superior but on a individual basis only the admiral impressed me. We have a brief part with Smokey who I always find pretty unimpressive considering he can't be punch, two VA team up for a worn out Luffy and another one just get to put cuffs on a distracted Marco.
They may be a force to be reckoned with in universe but as a reader I can never feel tension as the only one able to do stuff are the admirals.
I'd like a future character to wield this monstrosity.
@S.C.:

Knowing Oda? He already had that idea long before his manga even started getting publish. ;)
I wanna see some more development with the StrawHats especially Luffy. Not big changes, just more subtle stuff. I'm starting to agree with those who say that Luffy has remained largely the same since the start of the series.
More importantly, they need to unflanderize the characters.
More pirates and marines inspired by the war like Bartolomeo (although he's inspired by Luffy, you get the idea) and specifically by Whitebeard's declaration of One Piece's existence and Blackbeard's declaration of his era.
I imagine Blackbeard got many rookies to pursue him to ally themselves with him. I want some setting up for future prodigy young marines to appear.

Luffy growth has been very subtle especially him growing as a captain. His base child-like personality isn't going to change nor that is the point of his journey.

He has?
Well, after rereading the Usopp and Luffy fight, I'll assume that he's become more autonomous/mature in making decisions as captain.
what I want to see
what I want to see
- more team battles like in Thriller Bark. Ever since the timeskip there only ever were one-on-one battles where the straw hats were roflstomping the enemies
Agreed. Straw Hats vs. Oz was a fantastic battle. The humour was there too, and seeing all the Straw Hats fight together against a common enemy is absolutely priceless (we could also mention Chopper and Usopp vs. Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas)
- Robin should do more. She is the perfect character for stealth missions, but recently all she does is be silent, laugh and giggle at crazy crew antics and summon huge limbs. I want Robin to be utilized more actively. She basically is only a support unit now.
Same here ; she's only had, like… One single fight as a straw hat (in Skypiea) ? And it's not like her fruit hasn't have potential when it comes to fighting. She could do plenty of stuff with it. And fighting is not the only resort that she could have ; just more utility, that's all we want. She's like the ghost straw hat, along with Brook.
- the revery and the return of all the royal allies
Yes. A bit of politics would bring fresh air in One Piece, and the Reverie would surely be an interesting event to read. It would be a shame if it were to be skipped.
@fuzi11:
- more Smoker and Tashigi
YES.
- the crew just hanging around having a good time
It happens frequently at the start of a new arc, before the intrigue is launched.
- at least one more timeskip
Meh, doesn't seem necessary ~ yet.
- less overly long arcs. Fishman Island and Dressrosa were way way too long. I thought Skypea was long, but it didn't feel as long as these two. I know Oda has to juggle a lot of story elements and we will only get more and more with the time, but I lost interest in the manga for a few chapters, because it was constant battling for weeks.
Honestly, I didn't find these arcs really long. It's way more enjoyable to read when you read them in volume format (and not scan by scan).
16 characters of a pangolin zoan
Does Robin have the ability to summon eyes and ears? She should be perfect to play the role of the cold, stealth assassin.
I mean, that's what she was introduced as while she was in Baroque Works.

Yes. An example of the eyes is when she sprouted them on Luffys arm saving Usopp in Skypiea. An example of the ears is when she listened in on what happened with Zoro and Kuma in Thriller Bark.

Wow. Then I have a feeling that Oda is woefully under-utilizing Robin then.
She should be on the same level as Luffy and Zoro and Sanji, just because of the infinite possibilities of her powers.
After reading all the consequences and theories about "Jack's bounty" I thought about one thing that I'd really like to see and be developed much more in the manga: bounty hunters. Basically all the bounties we've seen have no other meaning but to show the world an individual's dangerousness, because we've never seen anyone claiming the money for having captured a wanted man…
I really would like to see a strong and cool bounty hunter in the New World, going after big pirates, capturing them and claiming the bounty. We've seen someone before, but it was like ages ago...since we have lots of strong characters in OP (pirates, marines, warriors, etc.), I don't see why we shouldn't have a really strong Bounty Hunter...

The big problem with this desire of some lone wolf, Boba Fett-esque badass is that truly elite pirates, especially in the New World, are worth a lot of money. 400,000,000 isn't mere pocket change. So, unless they are absolutely terrible with money, nabbing at least one or two of them could set a guy.
Also, as King Cannon says, such people are solely motivated by mere money, which is inferior to the stronger desires of stronger characters.

Well, it doesn't have to be necessarily a positive character… Maybe going after big bounties just for the sake of defeating them. For exemple I don't think Mihawk has a particular strong desire of any kind, but he's still one of the best in the OP world...

In the sense that he achieved his dream and has no worthy rivals at the moment. But he still sought out to be the world's strongest swordsman.
I wouldn't mind a elite bounty hunter, but I think the Marines and Warlords are more then adequate of hunting those who are wanted.
I feel like it helps to analyse the story in pieces when discussing bounty hunters. We had bounty hunters back at Whiskey Peak which was cool. But after that the story moved on to more interesting characters, like the Schichibukai Crocodile. Jaya might have had some bounty hunters but Bellamy took the spotlight there; having other rookie pirates as villains is also vital. Skypiea didn't exactly have much room for any bounty hunter type character. Water 7 had the Franky Family, they were soooort of bounty hunters, except they didn't try to capture any of the Straw Hats for bounties. I do not think that's a bad thing at all, they would just have gotten destroyed. The way they initially got destroyed was tied into a much better plot anyways (the whole Usopp fiasco). Thriller Bark, again, little room for any Bounty Hunters. Again a much grander plot, a Schichibukai. If you want to make a bit of a stretch you could see him as sort of a similar thing; he hunted big-name pirates to turn into zombies. He just wasn't in it for the bounty. Then we got to Sabaody (or Shabondy, what's the accepted spelling?), where there were proper bounty hunters again. By this time however, the Straw Hats were among the strongest pirates near the Red Line, so they were just way out of the grasp of bounty hunters. And once again, whatever bounty hunters there were were already tied into a plot in the story (Caimie). Then we finally had some room to show a strong bounty hunter again during Dressrosa, in the form of Jean Ango, the first strong bounty hunter that fits the picture you painted. It was nice to see someone like him, but Don Chinjao was a more important battle.
Overall I have no problem with the amount of bounty hunters we've seen. It's been very little, but then there has been very little room for any to appear in. There were always much grander things to show, roles that could not possibly have been fulfilled by any bounty hunter. Bounty hunters are just among those things we notice very little of simply because it is not interesting. Much like every bit of navigation and chaotic weather in the Grand Line, or every encounter with random Marine ships or other pirates. We know they probably happen, but why would we be shown them. We only get the big stuff, with occasional glimpses of those smaller issues. I don't really see much more of a place in the story for bounty hunters.
I would love to see an entire arc dedicated to the void century.
Some stuff I'd like to see in the manga is:
1. At least one more arc that's kind of like The Davy Back Fight arc. Something that's more relaxed, laid-back, and more low-stakes.
2. I'd love to see how an okama, like Ivankov or Mr. 2, would react to Franky's cool robot stuff. Since they're both man and woman, would they be disinterested like Nami and Robin? Or, would they nerd-out like Luffy and the rest?
3. I think it'd be really cool for Sanji essentially do what he does to activate Diable Jambe, only barefoot on a rug, building up so much static electricity that his kicks would be electrified. I think this would be a really neat power up for Sanji, or at the very least a cool one-time use move, and I think it really fits the tone of One Piece being silly and ridiculous, while also being really cool.

I totally agree with this.
Speaking of Davy Back Fight, I would like to learn more about this "Davy Jones" and his curse, which must be related to Devil Fruits in some way.
My hopes for Wedding Arc (if any of those happens I will be delighted).
