And it's not even the focus of the panel.

I would be willing to bet that Jinbei will join either at Zo or with the Sunny Crew. Then the next nakama will join either in Wano or Zo depending on when Jinbei joins.
Can't speak for others. But me; I would like her to join simply because she having knowledge of astronomy (is this confirmed, can't remember) would make her relevant for a space arc. Note that I'm not saying any of this will happen, I'm just saying I would like if it happened because personally, I would love an arc set in space.

Sure reading a theory mainly based on hope and possibility may not be the most enlightening post to read but ultimately I don't mind that. They allow giants, and several pirate crews have them, so, even with the racism, they'd probably allow it… they let Jinbe join the Warlords after all... I just can't think there'd be too many fishmen that would want to.

Yes. It's been a nice long time since he went on his way and his current timeline is already during the day of the Tea Party. So I expect something major(good or bad) to happen to him there which would lead him back to the Straw Hats.
When I say soon I mean within the next 6 months or so. We still need to see the developments of post Dressrosa on and off the island which could be a while and then we could get 5+ Chapters on Sanji's group alone. Zou and Wano will be a while and may happen without Jinbe but I just don't see Jinbe missing out on Kaido at all if he is up first. At the same time it's looking more and more like both Kaido and Big Mom will be much more intertwined then they already are so to me thats a major plus to getting Jinbe back in the current story sooner.
Jinbe could very well not get caught up in any of Big Mom's big BS and peacefully break ties with her but he's already approaching her a day after Sanji and the gang got involved with her crew. At that point is Big Mom pissed she got a treasure bomb, her ship and crew could have taken potential damage and the Straw Hats got away with Caesar no less? Then on top of zero Fishman Island sweets, Jinbe wants to join the very crew that caused all this ship. Lets say the Straw Hats do get captured, after all this time there will be some epic pay off and there is no way half the crew won't do something serious to that ship, couple that with a treasure bomb I just don't see any good outcomes for Jinbe. Even if Nami manages something with the potential connection of Lola's vivre card, I feel like Jinbe is going to get beat within an inch of his life and cast out into the ocean to die. Seems to me some scenario like this will come through with Jinbe struggling to make it back to Luffy by years end.

Is it unrealistic to think Caesar will join? At the moment he has Big Mom after him and Kaidou will be after him for SAD. I can't see him being able to leave the SHs until after those two yonkou are down. Which will be forever. we have a chance for him to warm to the crew and the crew to warm for him.

Actually Oda doesn't let people get off scot free that easily they need to redeem themselves in someway. For CC, he probably needs to do something big in order to redeem himself for his past actions like have a heel realization about what he has done. A redemption of a character has to be realistic enough for it to work. I think Oda could pull off better than Kishimoto because he doesn't let someone's past excuse their actions.
The whole argument of 'Robin and Franky were former antagonists' doesn't work. The former had these very ambiguous motivations since the moment we saw her, making you question if she was really on Croco-boy's side. The later went from secondary antagonist to supporting cast before Water 7 had even ended. And in both situations, neither of these characters were so TRANSPARENTLY EVIL like Caesar was.
Friendly reminder that Caesar POISONED CHILDREN, used his own subordinates as guinea pigs, USED A WMD TO WIPE OUT AN ENTIRE ISLAND, etc.

The one thing about Franky beating u/letting his minions beat up Usopp that bothered me was not so much the act but that once again it seemed only Usopp had to make the difference. Usopp forgave Franky but I don't remember Franky ever making an apology. The other thing with Usopp was when he rejoined the crew. He was sorry and begged forgiveness but there wasn't alot of mutual acceptance of guilt from the other side. Only Sanji and Chopper showed anything close to it when despite leaving the crew they still recognised Usopp as their friend. (Robin doesn't count in this)

You cannot compare those tiny battleships he made to a nuke. They are not even close to being in the same league.
Robin also offered the Strawhats a quick, direct path to Alabasta, saved Luffy after he was defeated by Croco-boy, quite frequently got on Croco-boy's bad side, and ultimately betrayed Croco-boy. It was clear that whoever's side she was on, it wasn't Crocodile's. She never came off as being 100% totally completely evil. And neither did Franky. Caesar on the other hand, from the very beginning, has been just a total bastard. I'm not saying that Franky and Robin weren't in antagonist roles. What I'm saying is that they showed shades of gray, that showed 'Hey, maybe this person isn't so bad'. Caesar has been morally black the entire time.

Yep there is a difference between blowing up traitors (Igaram) and a pirate (Usopp)… And let me say... Killing his own men and even worse... Kidnapping kids and give them drugs.

One Piece isn't some unpredictable manga where anything can happen. It has established patterns.
Caesar Clown is the definition of a cartoonishly evil villain. And he's turned into a comic relief character on Dressrosa (and probably in all future chapters he appears in). He has absolutely no substance as a Straw Hat, nor would that change after nearly 150 chapters of development. Nevermind his clear psychopathic actions that are in no way redeemable. I don't even see why you would compare poisoning children and being an absolute scumbag in character traits to Franky/Robin, who always had more ambiguity to their character, and weren't cartoonishly evil at all.

This isn't what cartoonishly evil is. Franky may have started out as a petty thief, but we were eventually exposed to his true character shortly after.
Please tell me how Franky robbing somebody and then attacking them is the same as a sadistic scientist who develops weapons of mass destruction to destroy countries, and who develops poisonous candy in order to test it on kids to create human weapons.

Uh, yes it does? They're introduced at the beginning of their respective arcs with a unique defining design and personality, the entire crew interacts with them in some way, Luffy is shown to like them, their backstory is hinted, and then later established in a flashback. Then, they participate in the final battle against the antagonist, get several character defining moments during that final battle, and then by the end, they decide to join.
That's the barebones of the pattern, without taking into account the exact specifics.

Zoro wasn't recruited just because of his strength. Luffy and Coby went to the Marine base because Luffy was interested in him, but it all boiled down to Luffy liking him, and him having an actual reason to travel with the Straw Hats (a dream).

We were given a hint into Nami's past before the fight with Buggy, and she participated in the brawl against the Buggy Pirates.
In the end, Luffy liked her, she had the navigator role, and she was a clearly defined character that had a reason to travel with the crew (which would later be expanded on and lead to her official joining)

Robin is the only curveball exception to the pattern. Even then, Luffy liked her during Alabasta, and we had a small peek into her motives/dreams when the poneglyph was encountered.

And both of them also joined because they had established dreams, along with interactions and chemistry with the crew. If it was all about "role necessity" instead of actual character, some random shipwright from Foxy's crew would've been picked up.

This is part of something that happens with most of the crewmembers. While the circumstances are different, most of the Straw Hats have had emotional farewells with their friends or families as they sail off or just before they leave (Nami with the Cocoyashi Village citizens, Luffy with the Foosha Village citizens, Usopp with Kaya/the three children, Sanji and Zeff/the other chefs, Chopper and Kureha, Franky and the Franky Family, and even Brook, who had a funeral for his lost comrades at the end of the Thriller Bark Arc).
Ultimately, Sanji and Franky joined because of their uniqueness and setup as main characters.

But also because Luffy liked him, because of his unique character design/personality, because of his ample screentime during his introduction arc, because of his role as a musician, and his dream that required/motivated him to travel with the Straw Hats.
