Some interesting back and forth between Dofla and Law about motivation and, even though the translation was awful, what I'm taking from this is Law feels no particular guilt over Dressrosa because he knew the moment Dofla started his plan it was doomed.
Corazon may have got his info to Sengoku, it may've taken 3 years before the invasion (to find a suitable candidate for the Hobi Hobi no mi & indoctrinate them?) but Dressrosa was going to fall.
Godsam it, I really want to read a book following the history of the family from start to finish. The flashbacks have hit the high points but it's not enough!
Brutal takedown of Law, though with plot devices like Leo running around it scarcely worries me.
Bellamy's heroic last stand seems more like a distraction from every other thing going on so also unmoves me, but it's part one so there may be a pay off next chapter.
The thing that actively displeases me (a rare thing) was Luffy's off-panel take down of Black Knight. I understand why; but it's been kicking his arse for a while now and it's pretty unsatisfying that he could summon the power of friendship or whatever and turn it to yarn balls. Even if there's no chance real-Dofla will fall that way & Oda didn't want to diminish their showdown.
Really grateful there's going no break next week, though I'm not going to be on tenterhooks waiting.
