Wait, Robin might actually do something in a real battle…?
I liked the chapter, but have to wonder how "poisonous needle hair" comes with Gladius' ability.

I feel like Oda could've done something more with Machvise's power than just making it a heavier version of the Kilo-Kilo Fruit. I do like Orlumbus silly bowling-ability, though, however it works.
Oda tends to exaggerate with character's observations regarding someone's condition. The only question is if Oda plans to kill Bellamy off or not. Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Usopp all received a shitload of injuries and survived. Wiper was supposed to die after like 2 uses of Reject Dial and he fired a bunch of them off AND survived electrocution and then fired a bunch of them off again. And don't get me started on Brownbeard and latest example, Law.
This is true, of course. I was mostly thinking if Luffy would really perform such a devastating attack to an already severely beaten friend, regardless of circumstances. But then I remembered his fight against Usopp… :ninja:
Didn't they say that Bellamy would probably die from just another normal hit from Luffy? I feel like him repeating his old coup de grâce when Bellamy did the Spring Hopper in Mock Town would just make him disintegrate at this point.
That design.. I don't see much difference in it from Sweet Pea or Boa Marigold = women known for their strength drawn taller than average (though Sweet Peas is smaller than others, she's still taller than other women) and oversized.
Fair point, but I actually like the designs of both Sweet Pea and Boa Marigold, so I think I'll chalk it up to the costume design in this case. I suppose I also might be a bit biased here since I severely disliked the whole Kyuin/Franky/Senor Pink ordeal in that chapter…
And I would agree with you on Kaya. It might have to do with her not being particularly sexualized in any way that she actually got to keep her original bust size.
Personally, I find that Scarlet and Rebecca have the laziest character design ever. Their design reek of blandness. They fit my definition of badly designed character.
Yes, and I would say this goes for a lot of Oda's female characters. Many of them just look more or less like Nami but with different hair. And it's a dang shame too, considering the range of different female designs he showed at Amazon Lily.
Although I can't pretend to be a fan of this design:
