My thoughts about this chapter
The cover story:
It is confusing me more and more by the chapter. Jinbei's adventure has to have a bigger meaning than some local problems under the sea and I do wonder what it will be, so far clueless.
The chapter itself
I really like the start. The fact that Oda has not forgotten Bellamy and that he came to face his "idol" face to face to make sure he really did order his death and now he was given his answer. I will be very interested in what happens to Bellamy now. I believe he will have a big role to play in this arc where Oda will show how this entire ordeal with Doflamingo and playing with characters like puppets, using them and disposing them like rag dolls will backfire and I believe Bellamy will be the main character to show us just that.
After that we get the exposition of the colloseum fighters and executives a bit of Delinger in action, how he craves for taste of "blood" as well. How the rank in strength etc. But the main point of all of this was. That DF's men will try to stop Luffy and the others in their tracks while for colloseum fighters it shows their teamwork no longer working by themselves but together and how they wish to help Luffy reach his destination. Which basically means.
Luffy Cavendish, One leggy and Law will reach the top now and meet the rest of the gang there to than move on to fight DF unless Marines do something about it.
After that we get a glimpse of murdering across Dressrosa and how they are still on the hunt for the targets to stop it. Good thing Oda reminds us about it. I do however expect Usopp, king Riku etc to fend for themselves in some way or fashion.
Then we get to see the factory and the resistance of Tonttata guys. Finally getting it, so the factory has been dealt with.
Than the funny bit about this chapter happening on Cavendish' horse and the important bit here is establishing that One Legged soldier will definitely go for Diamante and why he will do that… Oda wanted to show us that. Meaning now finally Doflamingo is really a target for Luffy. The last top DF guy Trebol I would imagine will be handled by Cavendish while the rest of the "gang" will go and fight the rest of the folk surrounding Dofla.
So this chapter was basically some kind of marker or at least I took it as such, where Oda makes once more clear what is happening across Dresrosa (ommitting Zoro and Sabo who he touched on in the last chapter) So we get the picture as also setting the stage for those final fights.
I totally understand how people can dislike such a chapter and how they feel nothing really got decided or story wise advanced by much. But this was about setting up the entire scene. Next chapter I expect we will get to see the progress of Luffy to the meeting point, Zoro, Sabo, Franky in action and what is happening there (with some actual progress in those fights - like Franky getting the better hand. Pica trying something on Zoro, Sabo having a difficult time but determined to stop Admiral from going after Luffy and so on...)
Dont expect to see that start of Luffy vs Dofla for 3 chapters at the very least.
So that's my take on this whole thing
