One Piece Chapter 743 - Turbulent Dressrosa

I agree it's kinda contrived, but since we know it can be done with Law's abilities, and we've seen example of that with Monet, it still remains a possibility.

Now I think that Monet might be alive after stab to the heart thanks to some effect of Laws ability that we dont know yet- like mini room mixed with scalpel effect might lower chances of death even though heart was stabbed. Like it made difference compared to if she was stabbed to heart without "room box" around it.

Cutting inside of room is non-lethal as it seems, maybe stabs or other wounds also have less of an effect inside of that sphere. In the end Laws fruit is made basically for curing people. It would make perfect sense for her to be alive in that situation.

I'm not gonna further discuss this, I just said he doesn't necessarily have to be DF user, solely based on his arms coming out his hair and doesn't have any changing any other part of his body (besides his butt, even though he already appeared using his spider arms without the weird ass) which doesn't fit very well with Zoan user's ability because he's not fully transformed nor on his hybrid form. Unless he have some better control of his transformations like what Lucci does.

Onigumo means literally Demon Spider.
With his spider-like abdomen that you can see on picture provided by Monquito its rather clear that he is most likely spider zoan user.
As you pointed those hair might be his life control skill in use but rest points to spider zoan.

I would like if Akainu would send Buster Call to Zou for example when Heart Pirates and Strawhats would be somehow resting there. It would be Luffy, Law, Zoro, Sanji + Jean Bart and Bepo(+ rest of crew) against 5 Vice Admirals and their marines. Sounds like not bad match up for me :ninja:

Hah.. I seen it here quite few times- Zoro should not have chance of winning against an admiral at this time in story. Its too early.
Zoro might have had chances in swordfight- on skill with sword level - but with Fujitoras DF ability and presumably decades combat experience he would get beaten to a pulp after holding up his own for a while of course.

Not to sure about that, there's a theory about his abilities are actually just him controlling his hair like Kumadori does using the Seimei Kikan technique. It's quite plausible IMO, i don't remember he changing his face or any other part of his body.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be interesting if DD really is dead? When has a story ever unfolded like that? Not just in OP but in other mangas aswell. It's always the main character beats the bad boss. I've never seen a side character come out of no where and one shot this big mastermind. It would be weird, but a good change of pace from Liffey just kicking his ass

No Dofla used it to create a hype for his tournament. He calculated that Diamante and his boys machvise, dellinger, LaoG and Senor Pink would win it. A fake mera mera will not happen. Oda never puts in a twist just for the sake of it. The mera mera being a fake doesnt help the story one bit. It acutally makes Blackbeard, Sabo/Revolutionaries, Marines(Maynard ), and all the other factions that fought in the colloseum look like fucking idiots.

In regard to the first paragraph here, I don't think he getting the mera mera(fake or real) had anything todo with the straw hats. He knew ace had died 2 yrs ago and he knew it was a powerful logia type many people would fight for. So he either found the real one after it was re grown or made a fake one(I'm not arguing whether it's fake or real). Let's not forget he is the mastermind behind creating fake devil fruits so it very well could be fake. Either way way he wanted it to attract people to the tournament as a distraction from the factory underneath it. Then when he found out lift was working with law he used that to persuade Luffy.

I gotten exactly same impression. With Dragon claw being form of Shigan and Breath being Rokuogun. But it would mean we already seen one of strongest if not the strongest of attacks from Sabo.
He reminds me of Vergo in a way- he is CQC fighter, uses kind of stick so to say and adds to everything CoA haki. They would be a nice match I think with Sabo being winner but after rough fight as he is without "godmodeopeope" abilities and have to win through actual fighting.

Depends on what you find fun really.

Tease of that sort that Greg did(maybe for "lolz") are not very nice for quite a few people. Escpecially if person most probably has access to more information than we do- I would not like if that would be kind of leaked spoiler for chapter here. Or a trolling. Simple as that.
Greg does his thing with all actvities outside of forum, holding a bit of different status here- cool - and usually dont post here so when he does post acting like with last posts is not so great one way or another imo.

Haha it catched my attention as well..

I cannot wait for new chapter.. It will be incredibly hard to wait for next one after it considering break next week and how things started to heat up lately with all toy people truning back into their old selves.
Sabo gotten some time to shine and now it seems he will be stealing some spotlight same like Law did in previous arc. Next ones will probably be Kidd alliance in some not very distant future.. Wonder if and when will we get something like pure exploration of New Island that is not connected by plot to some big bad. Like adventure when we dont know what and who to expect on island. Not like - Punk Hazard-> Dressrosa -> Zou -> Wano as it looks for now. Some suprisingly longer stay on Zou would feel good if its some kind of wild/not populated by many people type of Island.

Yeah that would certainly be very interesting and kinda cool to have something surprising as that. But that would rob us of the fight we've all been waiting for for so long. And it would be also anti-climatic for such a villian with such hype and so many bad deeds to be owned so fast. It's more satysfying if he falls after a struggle.

Not to mention he's the stepping stone that Luffy got to walk on. He's stronger than previous enemies that Luffy beat (other shichibukai like Moria or Croc), but still below admirals and yonkou. If Luffy is aiming for yonkou he got to walk toward that path. If he won't fight Flamingo who will he fight on a way to yonkou? It's still long way, he needs as many stepping stones as he can find ;)

It would be a bit disappointing for me if Doflamingo couldn't save his own self and was helped by Law.
Pica helping out, I can somehow accept, but I honestly think it will be Doflamingo himself who will pull through the situation at hand and be the ultimate unkillable mother-fucker that he should be as a boss in this arc.

So yeah, his own abilities will restore him in position and counter-attack shall begin. Seriously, the good guys aren't having nearly enough hard times so far in Dressrosa compared to other arcs (except for maybe Usopp, Franky Tontattas, Law).

Hope Doffy shoots back up and gives SH and the others a hell of a nightmare before things start to get resolved.
