@Toraish:
All but the final, of course. That, for me, counts among the very few things that I will never forgive this forum for. But that's just me. :P
That was the best thing in this tournament.

Yea, I had a huge list of things I wanted to nominate, and even during the tourney every couple of days I had to revise who I'd nominate. It does make it easier that other people seem to have the same ones in mind.
I still am waiting to see the Add a hat/whale campaigns get a nomination.
I would like to nominate it but I am on my phone right now, so I could not provide a link. :/
Go ahead and nominate whatever you want, that goes for everyone. I will go through the trouble and find the links. One-time offer for the tournament related awards only, though!
I'd rank them:
2013 - Tons of close matches and Norland making a once in a lifetime run to Champion.
2012 - Best Championship Match to date and Satori.
2010 - Massive scale, massive participation but Whitebeard winning was inevitable after the Third Round.
2011 - Just kinda sorta there compared to the others.
2009 - Had its moments but the Championship Match was a real letdown to be honest and the format was new enough that a lot of the element that make this such a great event weren't there yet.
What? But 2011 had all the tori craze and the Buggy vs. Otohime match ending in a tie.
I guess I'm biased though as that was my first one.
i'm still burnt out from the otohime vs. buggy match
Never was a fan of that match personally.
2011 finale was the best of the last three imho.
2013 was good too.
2012 finale was boring as heck, and clearly demonstrated that lack of conflict kills the event mood.
Also, thematic matches sound good only on paper.
2012 was the (almost) glorious year of Lawfare.
2013 was a hiccup.
2014 is the year of LAWFARE REVENGE.
Unless Apoo comes out of the blue and does more awesome shet then I totally back him winning.

Second situation is better. Or Apoo winning without doing a thing.
Uh, hello? Laboon takes 2014 obv?
I fixed that for you.
I fixed that for you.
Bring it on Crocomunch.
Bring it aaaaaaaaaaaawn.

That is the most precious most evil picture ever.
2013 was easily the best APCT I've taken part in :ninja:
That's not Law drawing Crocodile, that's Law drawing himself. On a unicorn. Possibly to annoy Crocodile, we don't yet know at this early stage.

@Toraish:
Most Dedicated?
I guess, although that has different implications to me - it'd suggest more focused support to me, such as zachri's support for Law, or Beka's for Moria, or even Smiley's for Smiley. noob was making campaigns for pretty much everyone. But then a lot of this is down to interpretation, I suppose, and as we already mentioned, the personal categories are problematic in a way.
Best Campaign: All of the owlfish ones (if that's acceptable)
That's fine but provide a link please. Unless they're collected in one place, just pick one to use as an example.
Splendid choice!
I will make a collage later and provide a link to your nomination. Might take a while, but it will be done before the actual voting happens. Unless I get hit by a bus or similar.
Edit: Done.
Wait, so those numerous separate Owlfish campaigns qualify but Jabra's Jinbe campaign doesn't?
What the duck is going on here? :wassat:

What? Of course Jinbe's does. I think someone just missed it when they were editing the list. o.O
Sorry!
One more spot to fill then.
Oooh, we're ranking tournaments now?
I dunno if this one is my favorite, but the fact that it was just so different and weird made it fun as hell. 2010 was great for its sheer scale, though it was a little foregone and eventually, exhausting. I like my old men in One Piece as much as the average guy, but having a top 8 almost exclusively so was… different. 2011 was another personal favorite because 2 of my top 3 made the finals. And Nami made it her farthest yet.~ 2012 was also different, but Croc vs. Bon was as good as it gets when it comes to final matches, and that 1-vote difference made it all too sweet.
If there's one thing I can agree on, it's that behind the sheen of FIRST BIG TOURNAMENT novelty, 2009 was nothing to write home about at all.
@Light:

It qualifies; just an oversight on my part while getting the nomination for Best Moment from the same post. Clearly Jabra's fault.

I saw Robby observing the thread a while ago and he didn't do anything about it either. Clearly his fault.
That's just a given at this point.
Allright now it seems like we are finally moving into the big leagues. Most memorable and quotable.
Two of the good ones.
Did you guy forgot Lef and KC's nomination for best tournament moment or just ignored?
Missed somehow. Wow.
Now that one definitely wasn't me; the first post said it had been updated through those numbers.
Edited them in. This is the first time I touch the lists of these categories, so it wasn't me either.
Okay, more diligence come the next category or two. This is just an honest mistake, but it's still embarrassing.
2009 had Aphelandra vs. Moria, which is still one of my favorite matches ever. But yeah, aside from that…. (Absalom vs. Krieg is good, as is Kizaru vs. Makino.)
Haven't member nominations started?
Uh, okay.
One category falls, two more rise in its place. Most Memorable and Most Quotable are now open for nominations.
IS the Most Quotatable open?
Okay some time ago (waaaaay back in April) in the next Strawhat crewmate thread, Valiantt asked someone to remember a quote from Robby for the awards, and I said I would and copied it to my sig … so ....
For most quotable I nominate RobbyBevard for the following=
"Sometimes I hate you all."
link Such deadpan response is wonderful XD
If its already submitted - or Robby says he declines- then my next choice is Valiantt's response of
"Someone remember this quote. We need it for the 2013 AP Awards!"
link

on this, day let us look back on our arlongers who are…; lost to us now
Sarah Mclachlan music
opens envlope to read the names who the fuck is Tupac's Ghost lol. i''ll believe your tupac's ghost when they show me the body
Do you actually have to attribute a specific quote with the nomination?
Or is it just someone whose made alot of quotable posts in general.

No, specific quotes aren't necessary and, yeah, the latter.
@Print:
Hard to distinguish some of the campaigns from their matches. For example, the "Add a Hat" shenanigans have already appeared for 'Best Match' but they could appear under both of these categories too.
And yes, so so many good campaigns. noob was also consistently hilarious - it's a shame there isn't a "Best Campaigner" category in that regard to be honest.

Actually, it was just Kaidou.
Yeah the incident we were parodying was just Kaido…but you did such a wonderful job of parodying this years new posters as supernovas that I was kinda hoping for some all 4 yonko-admin shtick.
Making an early bid for Most Quotable 2014, we have…

I did think about going for that but I'm not going to incur possible adminy wrath. Besides, Foolio is the only one who actually posts XD
So I figured I'd just say it was Kaidou anyway and leave as it not making any sense.

Scared of incurring adminy wrath?
Oh lord, you're going to be the X Drake of this generation aren't you?

If I were, I'd have directly gone to challenge Foolio or something.

Nah, your top notch posts on the forum were your equivalent of Drake's battle with Scotch.
So in 2 years time we can look forward to you absolutely destroying an emerging super poster.
BTW where is the "Most Indecisive" category… I need my win
We got rid of it as it was mostly pointless and not generally something worth praising people for. It's not a thing this year.
I'll miss Best Chew-out

Huh? That's still around. In fact it was already up for nominations.
BTW where is the "Most Indecisive" category… I need my win
There is no need for that category to exist, it's clear that it's you who is the most indecisive anyway
