What I'm wondering is how during those 10 years Doflamingo ran the country, no toy was able to render Sugar unconscious.. I know Trebol is protecting her but there must have been one or two toys that a least tried to kill her, during the risk of their own lives of course…maybe I'm looking into this too much, but there's a 100 ways in which you can plan these things, like drug her, set up traps, etc.. And they had 10 years to do it.

Perhaps she's a damn-good fighter in her own right?

Trebol is more likely than not a Haki user considering he's one of Dofla's top honchos and has thrived in the New World. CoO can detect killing intent.
