Man I loved this chapter, Oda manages to cover what's happening with a lot of characters in a single chapter but still gives us some great story progression in every instance.
I've never been so buzzed for a silhouette of a dinosaur. Looks like Drake is indeed working for Kaido. Since we heard that the only ways to survive in the New World are to either directly oppose the yonko, or to be protected by one, it makes sense to finally see one of the worst generation doing the latter.
Nice little insight into Law's motivation. Fulfilling someone's wish huh? Man I really hate the use of "that person". The biggest tease in all mangadom.
We can finally put the whole Momo PH hallucination business to rest.
Nice catch by some people who pointed out the imprisoned gladiators shock at Rebecca being bested in speed by Luffy, and linking speed to her fighting style. Got to make you wonder just how fast Luffy is when he's going all out.
Barto just keeps getting funnier and funnier.
Another twist concerning Violet huh. I'm theorising she's after Trebol, since we last saw him at the palace, Violet wants to kill "a man", and being her squad leader in a squad she's forced to work for…she probably isn't very fond of him.
Lastly, some closure as to why no participants where exiting the arena after they were knocked out. Unfortunately for Dofla now it's not going to just be guys like Chinjao who have come over to Luffy's side that will be actively helping him, he's pissed off everyone down there.
- Also gonna have to watch out for Ricky up top, since he actively refused treatment we can assume he never ended up with the other block losers.
nice bit of info spotted
