After Reading so many strangely delicious and delightful posts. I now find myself with a legit question. What would happen if one of those toys eats a Devil fruit?. Would they retain their devil power after becoming humans again or would the DF be kept in the toy body. What is most intriguing about that toy mechanism are the circumstances that it entails. As of now, and considering the Little info we have gathered so far I could posit that it might be conceived via two ways. "The Jora" or "The Trafalgar" way. The jora way morphs the body of the human into the toy, whilst the latter imprissons the soul of the person within a toy. There is no certainty of how the toy fruit functions of who its user is; moreover I might be in the wrong by assuming that there are only 2 mechanisms usable to attain such a result. Are there any other ways to achieve this outcome. Any other ideas?.. I´m all ears..erhhmm eyes…

I think the difference here is that the lose of memory would be a side effect of the ability and not the direct result of that ability, meaning the DF user can't erase someone's memories_,_ like how the shadows Moriah take lose their memory but keep their abilities and we know it has nothing to do with the Shadow Fruit.

Interesting point of view. However I would argue that ODA has somehow answered the Brooke and Chopper questions in a slightly different manner already. Back in the Arlong Park saga, Luffy fell prey to arlong and was thrown into the depths of the ocean. Nonetheless, he didnt lose his rubber properties at all, he did not revert to being all flesh and bones with no rubber; albeit, he got weakened. My point is that kairouseki has the same properties as being tossed into a body of water. Usually, any devil fruit user becomes a "Hammer" when they are submerged or partially submerged in water. Now, Im assuming that being a hammer means that your strength is taken away and by no means that your power is nullified completely (As in BB case where it has been shown that he nullifies the fruit). During FI, Luffy was seen stretching into the wáter from different bubbles, and even if he was handicapped he could still pull off a red hawk and what not. Did Brooke die when in FI that royal chamber was flooded? He survived. So that way your first question would be answered with actual proof about it (I owe you that page though I'm just too lazy to search for it). As for chopper I could see his intelligence as a passive ability that the fruit grants, along the lines of Luffys whole rubber constitution. So that being the case he probably wouldn`t be able to speak if chained with sea Stone but he would certainly keep his intelligence.

c) would be too public to attempt in the Coliseum while everyone is watching.

Granted it would be hilarious to no end. Might even start a toy revolt if most of them are indeed dissidents. Though I still think it's doubtful for the above reasons.

Dude you for real? You talking like water nullifies a Devilfruit, No it doesn't. Water only weakens a Devilfruit user, makes a Devilfruit user unable to move his/her body or control their ability. A Devilfruit is still active even if the user is submerged underwater… This was made clear on Arlong park, Luffy body was underwater but Nami sister was able to stretch his head out, and the only Devilfruit user so far water nullify's his ability is Crocodile.

Brook already fell into the sea, it was a gag during the Duval mini-arc, when Luffy was submerged and Chopper and Brook jumped into the sea to save him.
So he's just weakened, his DF power is not negated, but he just can't use it. For example, Luffy has no strength to stretch on his own, Law would have no strength to create a room, logia have no strength to turn into the element and so on

Fair enough you got me there. I honestly forgot that scene. I still think that thematically speaking depicting weakness in the case of those 2 fruits is hard and filled with potential pitfalls. And in that scene Chopper doesn't speak and there are no thought bubbles so I think my questions still stand. Though this is fairly off topic so I will drop this. Sea stone and/or getting submerged in water doesn't remove devil fruit abilities, as proven back in the Arlong arc and various SBS answers. It only weakens the devil fruit users. Weaken as in lose stamina? I don't know. But for what it's worth, the attributes related to the devil fruit(s) aren't affected.

if you think of Luffy, Law and their crews fighting alone of course they'd lose
but if you add

the Kid, Killer, Apoo, and Hawkings alliance
Doflamingo and his entire crew
plus the entire criminal underworld which seems to have people like CP9, Gecko Moria (at least he looks that way to me) and tons of other brokers we've only seen silhouettes of
and Big Mom is part of the underworld

my guess is that's his play, If doflamingo is forced to fight with the entire underworld by his side, Big Mom might join in the battle with the odds in her favor of defeating Kaidou with all these new allies

and then Law's plan will get shot to shit when she opens that treasure box and that Bomb goes off

then they go from, having the entire underworld and another Yonkou at there side = Sure win
To, Having two Yonkou that utterly despise them = extremely fucked

and then of course Oda would do his magic and I won't even attempt to think that far ahead in Oda's brain

The people who are heading to the FF are zoro, ussop, robin, the dwarves and franky I believe. As for exposition, I´m sitting on the fence. If its exposition through flashbacks it might hinder the feeling due to all thats happening at the time being. I agree however that exposition is pretty much needed but just with a bit of here and there mini flashbacks. The reason why I´m against a FB now is that we have got our hands full with too many, more or less important battles and a lot of hectic movement going on the island, so cooling off that sensation would be somewhat anticlimatic depending of execution. On a slightly different note, I would love to see Nami´s group having a badass moment. I can see why they are not answeing laws call, but hopefully they have not been captured. I would also like block C to end in this following chapter and maybe a glimpse of whats to come in block D. I need to see Cavendish´s swordplay. Am I the only fantasizing of a CAv vs Zoro showdown? I´m making a pledge for this to happen

King pin seems a little much. He's more of a well renowned armsdealer. With some good connections
