I don't know whether to take your post seriously or not..
Do you not think the situation they're in is dangerous? It's not as if they're just gonna walk in and out of Green Bit problem free when both the marines and Doflamingo (or whoever he sends) are there.. Law said himself this chapter that he needs to save all the energy he can for their escape/confrontation..
the situation they're in? which situation, they are not the ones who have to fight DD or the marines also they are so fast that they cannot be seen by the naked eye, the ones who are in a are Usopp, Robin and Law and not the Dwarfs
I use batoto or mangareader, mostly batoto, im already at chapter 120 in less than a week, its amazing to see how you can forget stuff with time, I just enjoy it as much as the first time lol.
Ill give it to you tho, the translation is often really messed up, especially with early chapters.
I'm using MangaHere but I just check Batoto and their schapters are way better and yeah I even learn stuff that I didn't know.
PS: I just read 120

All of Usopp's early (during introduction arc) lies kept on proving true gradually throughout the entire series.
With those two linked by the person you quoted left, only the alien one remains, which most likely foreshadows Enel's return at some point which I'm really anticipating.
In case you haven't seen the others, here you go.I think Enel will definitely return at some stage (not as an antagonist to Luffy again), but I think the "Alien store-owner" will be someone from space who the Straw Hats meet in a separate arc to Enel lol, at least that's how I'd prefer it.
-
Exactly! Based on that, I believe Eneru will return. And Bellamy might know something about it since he went up to Skypiea.
Good chapter by the way. Really liked Green Bit's appearance. Can't wait for next week! (Wait, that happens everytime.. Shishishi!)
-
time for Captain Ussop to GROW and show her result training
-
I agree that maybe barto likes luffy.. i don't think he will end up being a good guy, though. maybe he will try to join luffy and then end up attack someone luffy likes and gets the shit kicked out of him by mad luffy
May I ask what Bart has done that you don't think he will end as "good" guy?

What I don't get, and I can't be the only one. Is why is this an "exchange"? Technically its a hand-over. Joker already did what law asked. Law just has to get Ceasar to him. He could've just dumped caesar anywhere on Dressrossa and went on his merry way. Why risk so much by setting up a meet with Joker? Doesn't make much sense to me. Everyone is going along with it like its perfectly logical.
Maybe I'm missing something. Fill me in.
Edit: unless the idea is to draw Joker away from Dressrossa while the other group destroys the factory. He should've picked a stronger group then.
did I just answer my own question? lol

Lol, yup you just did! :p

I think this whole situation is weird too. But i guess joker can't risk for Caesar to fall into the hands of somebody else.
And olso, why would Law just give Caesar back to Joker? Something is not right here.I see 2 possebilitys:
- Law somehow gets the marines to arrest Caesar and make Joker start a fight with fujitora (Or something in these lines).
- Mabe Law will use Shambles on Caesar and switch his mind with somebody else so Jokers thinks he's taking Caesar back home, but is acctually returning with somebody else in Caesar's body (Possible infiltration mission?).
An infiltration would be interesting but I doubt it's gonna happen cause that person wil need to escape afterwards.
But i find the possebility of shambles very interesting here. -

But i find the possibility of shambles very interesting here. That's a very good scenario if it happened but I don't think so, they should have done it buy now when they still in the ship so the other person can train on how to behave so it cant be discover easily bu Joker and it should have been hilarious if Ussop is the one doing the job :D

Was olso thinking of Usopp It would be hilarious how he'd be freaking out inside Caesar's body.
-
It would be hilarious indeed, but if I may crash the party Usopp would not have enough control over the Gas Logia. So Dofla would instantly notice.
It's a funny idea though!

Is perfectly logical…lol
Firstable Law have no idea where the factory is, so he cannot drop Cesar in DressRosa without destroying the factory, can he? so he set up this plan that will make DD revoke his shishibukai tittle which will make him a normal pirate (wanted man by marines/WG), then tell Smoker where he's heading next so when Smoker make his report he can tell the marines where the SHs/Law are going, so the marines can show up as surprise party even though Law had this all planned from the start and now the last part of the plan is having DD + crew and marines face each other while the SHs/Law retreat to a safer place that it will be Zou.
Yes, you did!!!
PS: This plan is involving DD/CC as the main characters but we still don't how Law is going to get near Kaido or his territory without being attack by them, they still have 100+ ADF user
-
Or mabe Law will switch Caesar's mind with an important marine, so these 2 partys will have to fight eachother to get the other one back.
Law can run, and Joker will still need him to put Caesar back in his body. Law still has the power!
But that may be a little bit too far fedged… -
I'll never get over how much stuff Oda manages to pack into each chapter.
Seriously, I thought the chapter was over and then when I looked, NOPE, PAGE TEN.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH.
-
The subtitled FUNimation translation uses: "100 million… In terms of ambitious spirit, I didn't think he was even worth 30 million…" The dub (is) something along the lines of, "I thought he was too bright-eyed to be worth even 30 million – but 100 million..."
How is it these are both completely wrong? Blackbeard thought the 30mil was too low, not too high. But yeah, it's been argued a lot what is meant where, but I think most people assume now that it's power level readings going on, not simply "hey man you give off intense vibes." Shame.

That's because at that point in the manga, there was no indication that "haki" was actually an actual skill concept.
And to be honest, "haki" is not that common a word. Normally you'd use it to express how confident and intimidating someone is, and not something tied to any sort of tier gauging, infamy-based bounty or not. The way Blackbeard used it, it's safe to bet Oda actually did mean how haki is used today in the manga.I've mentioned this before brennen, but Oda does a lot of "unnatural uses of words" early in the manga that only gets revealed on WHY it was strangely empathized or placed later on. Like a lot. "Age of Smiles" was one, and I can guarantee you Blackbeard's oddity will be another. (the latter has multiple "oddly empathized and placed" words, such as double life, abnormal body structure, etc). It's one of Oda's signature writing.

But i find the possebility of shambles very interesting here.1- Law won't use Shambles. He's saving his power right now.
2- Law's plan involves him confronting Doflamingo, which means he doesn't intend on having Doflamingo confront anybody else. -
1- Law won't use Shambles. He's saving his power right now.
2- Law's plan involves him confronting Doflamingo, which means he doesn't intend on having Doflamingo confront anybody else.I think he is just antecipating the possibility of facing DD and being ready for it. I don't think Law can take DD head on (neither does Law) so that's why he called the marines and send the most powerful ones to destroy the factory. Also he needs Kaidou to be busy with DD and having him dead or in prison would spoil that plan.
Also who would accept going into CC's body and staying with DD? Usopp? Lol! -
Dofla is obviously more than familar with Law's powers…..I'm actually curious how a fight between the two pan out (ex. Doflamingo has incredible haki or his own powers hit Law before Law's can hit him or there's another weakness to the Opie Opie no mi.....etc)
-
1- Law won't use Shambles. He's saving his power right now.
2- Law's plan involves him confronting Doflamingo, which means he doesn't intend on having Doflamingo confront anybody else.I'm pretty sure Law's plan involves him running for his life once he makes the exchange seeing that he mentions that he is saving his powers for the trip back. I guess he is going to make a room the size of the island and is going to teleport far away from DD's reach.
-

You definitely misread or just interpreted my post very wrong, so sorry if it wasn't clear enough..
I didn't imply the Dwarves needed saving or that the were in any danger. All I said was that Usopp would befriend them (the dwarves) and in turn would be the reason their group (Robin, Law, Caesar, Usopp) would survive.
-

He said his saving his energy incase if he ends up fighting Doflqmingo he needs to go all out, not saving energy to escape.

Caesar implies that Law pretends to go all out against Doflamingo.

Law indicates he's saving his energy to help them run away not necessarily to fight Doflamingo.

I'm sorry. I wasn't aware of that. I'll refrain from posting mangareader links from now on. Do you suggest any other sites? I know Batoto is out of the question at the moment.

And Caesar indicates otherwise, in the same page even.
You guys should pay more attention to the little panels.

I think i'm going to believe Law on this one. He is the only one that knows the whole plan after all.
-

Law said nothing about using his powers to escape. He could very well be talking about the possibility of facing Doflamingo on their way back.
And the Law of Conservation of Detail pretty much dictates that what Caesar said has more chance of happening than not.
-

Well Law was never talking about escaping but "Return trip, “I need to preserve all the energy I can!!!”
“Our opponent is Doflamingo…!!!” This kinda says his ready to fight Doflamingo on their way back(that's if Dofla tries to fight) that's how I see it, not escape. -

The fact that he wasn't concerned about how many people DD was taking to Green Bit makes me think that he is not planning to fight him.
-
And don't link Mangapanda because their scans are shit.
-
The fact that he wasn't concerned about how many people DD was taking to Green Bit makes me think that he is not planning to fight him.
Law plans to at least stall Doflamingo.
Else he and the others would have no more reason to stay on Green Bit anymore. They should have teleported out of it by now.
-

Ok, this is the good stuff. This is the tidbits a One Piece fan should be looking for.
So that infamous line Ace said, "you lived twice as normal" or wathever the hell that was, that looks like a bad translation, was actually one of these Oda weirdly empathized expression? As in, it has a great chance of having a "secret meaning" behind it, and not just "you're an old timer, unlike me"?
And the other line in Jaya, where Nami said "he's a weird one", and both Luffy and Zoro said "it's not he, it's them"; was it refering to BB's crea (as I thought, and still think), or was also one of these?
-

I agree! That's what i think the marines are there for. I could be wrong though. It's just pure speculation.

This is a good point. Didn't think about that.

My guess plan is- Law is probably gonna try and engage Dofla to buy time or till he gets confirmation that the factory has been located/destroyed, but like you said he doesn't know how many people Dofla will bring that's why Law told the marines his at green bit. Marines fight/keep whoever Dofla brings busy(since law is still a shichibukia) while Law takes on Dofla.

Sounds plausible. I'm still figuring out how this whole thing will affect Kaido significantly because even though he won't get to increase his army, he still has God knows how many Zoan soldiers.

Interesting. At what point do you think Blackbeard discerned that from Luffy? When they first met fighting over the food at the bar? Or after Luffy beat Bellamy?
Going by the anime (I know, not the best way to judge usually), when Luffy tells Blackbeard that he's worth 30 million, Blackbeard seems taken back for a moment. In the dub, they really emphasize Blackbeard's shock. "30 million…for YOU??" In the Japanese version, it was much more subdued. The line was the same, but the connotation was different. So you could argue that even in the anime, Japanese Blackbeard seemed to think Luffy was lying about the 30 million, and that it should actually be higher.
When Blackbeard walks out of the bar with his food, he passes Bellamy outside. He stops for a moment, and watches Bellamy walk inside, and then walks away. Perhaps he "felt" something there?
-

Off topic: nothing against other manga or writer here, i just want to know if Kubo have this kind style? i mean, with current storyline and new "revelation", in many english forums, Bleach fans ridiculously trying to tied everything new with past sentence or word.. but the problem is, all the so called evidences are all taken from english scans/trans. i wonder if Kubo did really foreshadowed thing in his manga.

Bleach has been flailing blindly forward in it's bland featureless wasteland of plot since roughly Rukia was rescued and Aizen turned out to be bad and alive.

Well I mean what in the world do you want from them? That is how it literally reads, and they were kind enough to transliterate it for the English fan-base that, by and large, cannot read hiragana. What more do you expect of them, an actual translation? Do you have any idea how much extra effort that would involve?

It will affect kaidou because once DD loses both CC and the factory and can't provided smiles for him he will most likely declare war on DD witch would decrease his forces to some extend.
either that or once the factory is destroyed the synthetic fruit users will lose their power.
