Am I the only one who like the two fancovers more? They look better and fits more and are crowded better looking than the original cover :wassat:
Those give too much focus on Doflamingo and put Luffy too much into the background when there's no reason to.
Because Doflamingo is the focus of the chapters so I think it´s good. Luffy is in so many covers so I think it´s no problem if he isn´t very big on a cover. Doflamingo is the next villain Luffy has to take down so Oda should make him bigger^^ That is the reason why I don´t like Oda´s cover this time. I think ponio did a very good job. But I understand your point also :)

Luffy doesn't need to be always in the center, he just has to be prominent and distinct.
In those fancovers, he isn't.

Just to embed it… Looks like a cool and very jam packed cover.
squints I like it immediately for two reasons. Not as crowded as 69 and Doflamingo's image is overshadowing the cover…..synching up with his main focus on Dressrosa.
Newspaper of the rookie alliance is a nice touch.

The best part of this cover is Usopp and his green "grow-up" kabuto, the General, and the awesome machine gun legged baby 5.

Volume 21 was ALL villain. Just Boroque Works. Volume 22 was the Strawhat counterpoint to that.
Volume 42 was all CP9… then volume 43 was again, the Strawhat counterpoint.
Those are also the only ones Luffy wasn't on.

Maybe I am mistaken but for me this 'black and white' thing looks just like made to look like taken from newspaper, which would actually make sense conidering it plays a major part in said volume.

Loved the cover. Usually I am not a fan of OP covers because they have too much information, but in this one things look a bit more… harmonic.
But, yeah, I can't see Vergo anywhere, not that I care about him though. I am pleased with Baby 5 and DD already.
