I still can't get over the perspective near the end. How do you mess that up so badly? Nami looks enormous.
There's nothing messed up about that. You said it yourself, it's the perspective. Nami and Chopper are closer to the "camera".
Yeah, it wasn't until Share the World that the animation for the openings had any sort of ambition. Mostly they were pretty standard with plenty of shots of the Straw Hats and other characters just hanging around. Rarely would we get anything with complex action scenes or creative visual direction.
Yeah, i mean…really, how can someone look at, say, "Hikari E", and think "Maaan, those were the days when they used to put some effort in the opening!".
