Platinumed Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus -Shoujotachi no Shoumei-. The final battle was kinda unnecessary and brutal at some points. But it was still a lot of fun. Now playing Monster World IV on PSN. Pretty decent game. Almost at the Wind Spirit.
What are you Playing?

I've been playing Etrian Odyssey IV on the 3ds and having a blast. I've almost beat it 100%, just have a few more item drops I need and one last treasure chest to find (which I have no idea where it is despite searching for it for hours). Well and I haven't found a lot of the treasures since they require using qr codes or streetpass. I have beaten every enemy though, including post-game bosses.
-
Playing FFXIII right now, I know it's a crime, hate me for it, but it's a fantastic game. Music + stunning visuals + great character development + great story, who cares if it's linear, because I sure don't.
-
Been trying out different methods of playing MGS2 because I'm too lazy to use my PS3. Oddly enough, emulating the PS2 version of the game is better in almost every aspect compared to the PC version.
-
Just finished Dead Space 3 and i have to say i'm disappointed at how easy and FPS like it was compared to the ones before.
Still it gets redeemed with the variety of puzzles/engineering stuff and the weapon crafting. But man i was killing most of the enemies with 3 shots at most since chapter 11.
-
I've been going back and forth between Saint's Row the Third (now that I've finally got it working for my laptop), Pikmin 2 for the Wii (bought it on an impulse - I enjoyed Pikmin, and from what I've gathered, the Gamecube version is ludicrously expensive) and Final Fantasy IV for the Game Boy Advance (found it fairly cheap in a used game store, so I figured I might as well pick it up).
-
Odin sphere on the mercedes chapter. Really fun and pretty despite being a bit repetitive and frustrating.

Are you playing this on Easy mode or something? It shouldn't be that much of a breeze. Though…FPS like, yeah that's for sure, but you can play the classical mode once you beat the game once.

It was on Hard actually, but my plasma cutter was so powerful even the enhanced necromorphs couldn't stand 2 shots of it.
I think it was overpowered seeing how much ressources from bots/optional missions i got (even my rig was completely upgraded around 13-14). -
I beat the Fatman in MGS2 today. Right now I'm downloading the Zone of Alienation mod for Stalker SoC.
-
Ni No Kuni for now.. im stuck so this hopefully will be the only time i need a FAQ for a level
-
Dragon Quest VIII. Love the voice acting, though I prefer DQV and III.
-
Battlefield 3.
I decided to get it as my free game from the Simcity fiasco and it's really good, atleast the multiplayer. And I'm glad there are about 10 vanillla servers on Brazil, all of them usually full with 32-64 players. -
Almost down getting Platinum in PW1, I just need one more stupid coin. When I am done with that I will probably play through Skyrim again to test out Hearthfire. Hopefully i can do this soon.
-
Just finished the part with the president in MGS2. I'm thinking of picking up the HD collection soon.
-
Playing Castlevania Aria of Sorrow technically the first time playing an Castlevania game and trying to get the soul of the peeping eye any hints?
-
Managed to platinum ToG F a few days ago and now I'm waiting for my next game to arrive. In the meantime I occasionally play some Dragonball Budokai HD.
-
Welp. I'm no longer playing Dungeon Fighter Online. Game is shutting down. I'm sad.

None. Just grind.
Btw don't miss out on the actual endgame part of the game by not getting the succubus soul and other associated items. Otherwise you can't acess the final two bosses and the last area of the game, as it just ends.

Ah thanks I'll see if I dont miss anything.

Replaying Darksiders for getting the platinum trophy.
Almost done, "just" need to conquer the Black Tower.
After that I start Okami HD, can't wait to play it. -
One Piece Grand Adventure for the PS2.
Forget the voices, the gameplay is just too fun and too addicting.
-
Super Mario Sunshine. I
m slowly but surely playing through all the major Mario titles. I never played this one before, even though it
s kinda old now (never had a Gamecube). Its surprisingly similar to Mario 64, there even are Red Coin missions. I don
t know what to think about the waterpump stuff; there are some fun ideas, but at the same time its a little annoying to always have to clean up everything. Well, we
ll see. Also finishing up Simpsons Hit and Run. I want to finish it 100% and I
m done with all the missions. The annoying part though is that I still need to buy stuff worth about 2000 coins. *sigh* And I
ve got nothing anymore, so I`ll have to raise a ton of money now.And also playing Unlimited Cruise and the Paper Mario game for the Gamecube (I only bought a Wii from a friend last year, so I`ve got a ton of great Nintendo games on my plate), though these are on hold for the moment.

The Thousand Year Door is still one of my favorite games. It's rare for the second, let alone the third, game in a series to still give such strong competition to its predecessors. I need to go replay that…
-
I've been playing demos on the 3DS to figure out what to buy next: Etrian Odyssey IV seems like a likely one, even though I've never played any of the previous ones.
I'm also playing Majora's Mask for my younger sister, who's never seen it, and enjoys watching more than playing. Not that I'm complaining ;)

EOIV is great, just keep in mind the story is light. I've played the series since 2, and its definitely the most accessible and the best starting point (I'd call it the best in the series, but some think it's not as challenging as older ones, but that's mostly due to getting rid of clunky design choices IMO)
-
Hey, thanks for the info! I probably will go for the full version in that case - my simple mind was already overloading with even the starting character choices XD
-
I got 100% on Red Dead Redemption a few days ago, after starting a new file, since my old one was from 2011. I loved the story and getting to 100% wasn't as tedious as in some of the GTA games, so kudos on that, Rockstar. Now I'm just running around, killing animals, gambling and occasionally going for an achievement or two.
@Riddler: I'm sure you'll enjoy Super Mario Sunshine; it's one of my favorite Mario games ever. Just don't take it too seriously, enjoy the great art direction/music and, most importantly, have fun. If you can't get past FLUDD, then I'm sure you'll at least enjoy those levels in every world where Shadow Mario takes it away from you…
-
MGS HD Collection. It's my first time ever playing MGS. I started with 2 and it's hard and I really suck but I still like it. I'm on that mission as Raiden dismantling C4.
-
I love MGS. I've been emulating 2 recently but plan on buying the HD release soon. I really would like to not have to entirely restart 2 though. At the same time I don't really feel like playing it :ninja: .
Been playing through Stalker SoC recently with the Zone of Alienation mod. Most enemies can be killed in one hit. A head shot is an instakill and depending on where else you shoot the enemy could bleed to death, which is cool. Bad news is it only takes one or two shots to kill you as well and the AI is really good in these games.
-
I've just beat MGS1. It's amazing to see that game being so far ahead of it's time in some regards (The voice acting, all the little details etc.)
Awesome game.Now onto MGS2 HD.
-
Platium'd Darksiders, now Okami HD.
Planned to play it for ages but never downloaded it but now it is for free on PS+, that's my chance lol -
Recettear: An item shop's tale.
Alright, somewhat rage inducing. -
Got the key to the first lab and am almost there in Stalker SoC. A blowout happened when I was entering the bandit HQ and there were dogs swarming everywhere so there weren't too many bandits still alive. My aim keeps swaying back and forth and the screen keeps getting blue tinted for some reason. I don't know what it is. I thought it might be because a blowout was about to happen but it kept happening afterwards. I rushed into this room at one point and there was a bandit half behind a table getting ready to shoot me. I apparently shot his legs out from under him (which I didn't know you could do) with my shotgun and then executed him.
When I was approaching the lab I saw two pseudogiants enter and start massacring the bandits in there. I managed to kill one of them but the other killed me.

Evoland. I feel a bit stupid for walking into such an obvious "trap" for fans of older JRPGs; aside from the game "evolving" there's nothing that makes it worth the price at this point. Really repetitive.
But on a brighter note, I'm at the penultimate boss of Metal Gear Solid.
! I totally called Deepthroat being Gray Fox. Master Miller being Liquid was surprising, though I noticed they had the same voice actor early in the game.
-
I bought Super Metroid yesterday for 150 coins on Club Nintendo and spent five hours playing it. It's amazing the difference that a new(ish) controller makes; thanks to my classic controller, I was able to do a lot of the sequence breaks that I'd seen before, but could never pull off thanks to the stiff d-pad on my SNES controller. I left off in Maridia, shortly before the Draygon fight, so I'll probably go back and finish it later today (if this dull ache in my left wrist and thumb goes away, that is)…
-
Beat MGS, started playing the sequel.
The ship mission was great, especially Otacon's advice when you saved. I must admit that the last part, where you had to snap photos of Metal Gear RAY, was too much for me. Ended up using a walkthrough. Also, Ocelot is back and even more awesome than before.
Raiden is a little dipshit though.
-
Everyone hated Raiden shortly after MGS2 came out. I don't really mind him anymore but after the bait and switch everyone, me included, was kind of bitter about it for a while.
-
I haven't been on WoW in a while…
-
Finally started using Minecraft again, and built myself a train station, with the rail leading up into some mountains.
The pretend miners of the town would use the rail car to get to the mines/caves in the mountains, while i can use the flat plains nearby as the base for my town.Hopefully my motivation will hold out and i can create a full overworld. Multiple villages, some with castles. Gotta have a grand castle at some point.
-
So how does Afinity works and how to used on the fire emblem from the game boy advance.
-

I don't mind there being a new main character, Raiden just rubs me the wrong way. Rose is annoying as well.
I have one bomb left to defuse, but I'm not sure which strut it is in… Now I really regret not making notes of that earlier. ^^;
-
I finished Super Metroid the other day with 100% completion (I had to look up 2 of the missile expansions, though). I'm surprised I still remember where pretty much everything is, but it is my favorite game of all time, which I've replayed at least 10 times, so I guess I shouldn't be too shocked. Now that I've got the initial play-through out of the way, I might try a speed run, but probably not for a while…

You should play La-Mulana if you like Metriod type games. I've replayed it so many times now, because it's just so fun and surprisingly indepth for the concept of Metriodvania type games.
Speaking of, you minded me that I need to play Super Metriod. It's ironic. Dispite how much I like the concept of open-ended/non-linear platformers(I think they are the best type of games), I never played a single Metriod game or Castlevania outside SotN. -
I have heard some great things about La Mulana, but lately I haven't had much spending money. It's definitely one of the top WiiWare games on my list, though, and I'll buy it when I get the chance.
As for you not having played Super Metroid yet… get on it, Hiroy!
-
Certainly. The game has been going swell so far. I was a little annoyed at the one-ways, so I could not always go back to test upgrades in places that were inaccesable, but I grew to like the flow and difficulty of the game.
Speaking of difficulty. Wall jumping can suck a cock. It's not impossible to do, but I feel like it would have been better if it wasn't so advanced. Mainly because the game throws you in a pit with a save point and expects you to learn the thing(the goblins didn't help much). A small window of "stick-to-wall" animation on the wall would have been helpful, rather than a sprite change that falls at the same speed as the regular sprite.
Still, I won't be defeated by this pit. I made it once, but I wanted to hop into that hole at the top(and ended up back down into the pit… this is punishing).
-
I hated that pit (and wall jumping) too, my friend. Whenever it seems you have a good flow going, it always seems to crap out right as you're going to reach the ledge that will put you out of your misery, which means having to repeat the process all over again! Still, with some practice (and usually a sore left thumb), you can get the hang of wall jumping. I remember watching Super Metroid speed runs in the past and going "Fuck, why can't I wall jump like that?"
Oh, and just in case you weren't aware, there's a bomb-able block on the left-hand side of the wall that allows you to get out of the pit through a morph ball tunnel, without the need to wall jump. Of course, that'll mean giving up the expansion in the tunnel at the top (and admitting defeat), but I figured I'd let you know anyway…
-
I figured that out after nuking the room for no reason, lol. But I still want to get whatever is in that hole on top. It's just there… mocking me. I won't leave that pit until I get it!
-
Injustice: Gods Among Us. My brother and I got it yesterday, and it is AMAZING. The graphics, the fluidity of battle, the varied roster…..my favorites are the Joker, Catwoman, and Batman.
-

Seconding La Mulana (I also first learned about it from Hiroy). Really amazing. The kind of game that makes you proud to have beaten and that you will go back to replay because the length and complexity makes it that engaging.
…Currently playing OP: Romance Dawn on the PSP. Pretty meh as an rpg, but the OP coat of paint admittedly makes it better. Decent enough.
