I forgot how good this show was.
After re-watching all the episodes i am genuinly excited for the new episodes
Young Justice RETURSN OMG
-
-
Watch out for the next hiatus.
-
So, new episode? Go Reach? Awful quality video?
-
I love that they put L-Ron in the episode. Like… I actually yelled "YUSSS". He was one of my favorite things about the Super Buddies/JLI comics, which I'm currently re-reading. Virgil saying "static shocks" was oddly exciting.
-
The fact there won't be a season 3 is really disappointing, because I feel like there is a lot of build up towards Static's character in the last 3 episodes.
-
And yet again, Jaime proves just how damn amazing he is. I love this boy so freaking much, for so many reasons. <3
Meanwhile, Mal steps up and kicks ass without actually kicking any ass. I dunno what the hell is going up with Karen, but I wanna smack her for being such a jerk to Mal.
God, I'm suddenly feeling very sorry for La'Gaan right now. He gets captured and experimented on, and now his girlfriend won't return his calls (and may potentially be cheating on him GodIhopenot).
The Reach Negotiator is exactly as much of an asshole as I'd hoped he'd be. He's perfect, and it'll make his eventual defeat so much better.
I'm eager to see the MetaGen's start with their powers, and curious as to which characters might have been the ones Virgil 'never saw again' after The Reach didn't like their developing powers (if Richie was one of them, so help me)…
9 episodes left. This is killing me.

Wait, the 3 season curse strikes again? Where was this confirmed?
(if Richie was one of them, so help me)…
Who?
Anyway, I really liked the new episode. Man, Miss-Marian is so powerful, even when she's holding back. I wonder why Gotfried is so set on promoting the Reach…he must have an ulterior motive. Also, despite the robot calling Despero "master," it seems to be the one calling the shots.
-
It's not confirmed, but it does look like a Season Three isn't happening. Young Justice has only a handful of episodes left unaired, has no toys to sell and two other DC shows are in production right now (Teen Titans Go! and Beware the Batman). With only two slots on DC Nation it's not looking good for Young Justice to get a third season.
-
It was unofficially confirmed as canceled the second they gave the go to Teen Titans returning. No way they have two different Titan shows on at the same time.
Particularly since the new show is basically a return to the earlier, more popular show. (Which also had a main cast of 5… instead of 5,000.)
Plus you know, the constant hiatuses and lack of support.
Of course, the boring not-so-well written Green lantern show with the doesn't-look-so-good-in-3D-Bruce Timm-designs was paired with it, so that can't have been helping.
-
It's a shame that Young Justice isn't doing so well…
But, to be honest, I am very happy because one of my favourite DC show, the Teen Titans is returning in March.
And that's all I care.
That show was pure awesomeness, and I was very sad when it ended (Terra just showed up and then nothing). -

-
Greg Weisman answered a fan question recently and said the date of renewals and the public announcement of those renewals aren't one in the same. So there is a chance they are renewed for airing when Batman/Teen Titans are on hiatus.
-

A friend of mine says that Gotfried is actually connected to Darkseid. He's supposedly like a spy for Apokolipse

This is what annoys me about the 'return' of the show; the original Teen Titans cartoon was plenty funny, and had the action/drama to even it out. But to have it all be comedy/randomness…I don't think it will be as good as people are hoping. Frankly, I think there's enough "randomness is funny!" cartoons out there; we need more cartoons that have that balance of action and fun.

Glorious Godfrey is one of Darkseid's people, yeah. His superpower is a form of mass hypnosis that allows him to talk people into doing just about anything he wants.

Damn, I would love an episode with Darkseid, or at least a cameo of him…
-
Oh…
I read the rest of the posts...
And saw the picture.
So it's going to be more comedy-type Teen Titans, similar to the DC nations thing?
Because I wanted to see the old series to continue.Well, at least it's Teen Titans, which I loved many years ago.
It's something. -

Yes, but what motivation would Darkseid have for promoting the Reach?
-
Well, if the people of Earth welcome the Reach with open arms for entering through the front door, why wouldn't they do the same for Darkseid? Assuming the Reach doesn't mess it all up, Darkseid could take the same approach and then proceed to take over/exterminate the earth while the government is busy being suspicious of/hating the League.
He's playing everyone. The Reach, Kroloteans, Light, and Justice League fight each other until they collapse and Apokolips reigns supreme.
Or, you know, this. It sounds more like something Darkseid would pull…
Also, good episode, except for Megan being an idiot and refusing to mind screw Despero, who was leveling her friends left and right. You made a mistake with Kaldur, fine, but Despero was clearly an enemy, and you just sat on the bench…

! Jesus, a GREEN BEETLE?
The Martians are already as good as Superman, now you give one a SCARAB?! -
! And his name is apparently B'Ar S'Oom. cute.
-
! Awesome episode, though having Simon repair Kaldur's mind doesn't bode well for him, Artemis and the team…
-
I thought the hiatus would make me lose interest in this show, but these last two episodes have really drawn me back in. I almost wish it didn't though because I don't think the show can reach it's full potential without at least a 3rd season, and if I'm not mistaken, that is seeming very unlikely at the moment.
-
Random theory I thought of during the episode
! What if Simon is actually M'gann transformed into Simon. I know Simon isn't the speaking type but we didn't hear him talk at all, we know M'gann feels guilty about what she did and this could be her way of trying to redeem herself.
-
! I don't know, I would think The Light would have countermeasures in place to prevent that sort of infiltration, considering who their enemies are. Though, if that is Megan, it would conveniently preserve Kaldur and Artemis' cover.
! Also, the ending was interesting. Looks like Virgil and the others won't start their superpowered careers as heroes, but as villains… -

! Judging by this preview(
) you were really close to what's going to happen. -
The Green Beetle must secretly be a bad guy, right?

The Green Beetle must secretly be a bad guy, right?
Certainly looks that way. But you never know for certain.
-
I want to believe Green Beetle is a good guy, but it could go either way.
Still, I just can't imagine anyone voiced by Phil LaMarr as evil, you know? I keep imagining Green Beetle challenging the team to a limbo contest to prove he's on their side…
-
Well, I believe that Green is good, but this tinkering with Blue cannot be good. Green's intentions may have put them on the fast track to Impulses future…
Green said it could be problematic...and Blue being silent? I don't like it one bit...

Well Vamp who Phil also voiced from MGS2 was evil so that's one.
-
Obviously Phil has some villains under his belt, given how long he's been in the business, I just meant his resume consists of more good guys than bad ones.
On a more petty note, I greatly dislike Lagoon Boy for his overuse of pet names and his "Neptune's beard!" catchphrase. Also, stop saying "ese", Jaime. Fucking stop it…
-
The "beetle" might be the reason why the reach hasn't been able to take control of BB, and it might be the reason why Blue turns.

I like ese, and I LIKE Lagoon Boy's nicknames, but he does use them WAY too much.
-
Come on American's don't let this awesome show be cancelled. Please
-
Do any of you guys know a site where i can watch the show?
-
-
It's probably been too late for Young Justice since the minute they announced new Teen Titans shorts and definitely from the time Teen Titans Go! was announced.
-
Well, the curse, plus scheduling, plus the timeskip were too many factors for it to make it.
-
So is it going to get an ending or just leave the story hanging. I wouldn't mind if they wrapped it up on DVD movie.

Hopefully Weisman plotted it to reach some sort of ending at the end of season 2, which we'll still be getting the remaining episodes of.
Of course knowing his style, it'll be a ending, but with a lot of open loose ends.

They should at least explain what happened between Superboy and Megan.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that they defeat the Reach, which directly results in a victory for The Light.

Stuff got SOO real

I love this line…. I dunno it's just so...... So PG.
And no HIMUM quotes please :/ -
! As expected, Green turned Jaime over to the Reach's side when he messed with the scarab. And Lex played his hand well enough that Virgil's group will probably follow him wherever he wants to take them. I wonder if six more episodes will be enough to wrap up all the major plot threads that are still open…

Of course not. Some of the questions raised wouldn't even be addressed until the spinoff franchise set 200 years later.
-
Yeah, that's true. I want to see what's going on with the League and their trial or whatever, but I doubt that plot thread will be resolved (at least not onscreen)…
