@RobbyBevard:
I do like how the pop up ads have moving arrows pointing at the vagoo as if to say "insert here!" or "this is important!" It's kind of amusing.
For those who have never had Sex-Ed, the Russians are there for you.

and that's what you might see if you didn't have NoScript to block it.

Oh you'd see a LOT more than that.
@Monkey:
Oh you'd see a LOT more than that.
im glad that i don't
The ads are gone for me :) Just FYI
Now I regret not seeing any of these things.
@_@ I for one am glad.
@Cyan:
The ads could be a good test for potential new members.
"If you can get passed random porn from random countries, you can be a member of Arlong Park."
yay. I passed.

Since I didn't see them at all … does that make me a cheater?
It's even better when you can get past it.
Oh thank god I'm not the only one getting these.
I was worried I got some sort of virus horseshit.
not a virus problem, but seems like name servers for apforums are not set.
Currently opening forums by modifying hosts file.
^ Yeah I had to do the same since it had been down for so long
good. at least it wasn't something serious.
This just in, the downtime of the forums was caused by a screwup by Jonas .
Guys, I so missed this place for the last 27 hours :(
Hm, apparently it is happening again. I got this:
"apforums.net contains content from edyics.eecafe.net, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site.Google has found malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed, and perhaps try again tomorrow or go somewhere else.
We have already notified edyics.eecafe.net that we found malware on the site. For more about the problems found on edyics.eecafe.net, visit the Google"
Nothing on my end so far even while loading without cache.
I'm not seeing anything either. Is anyone else getting it?
i didn't get it.
Nope, NoScript isn't picking up anything on my end.
I'm getting it .
It could be a problem with someone's signature I guess. What page is it coming up on?
I'm not getting it, but I recognize the host site. I'll message the user in question about it now and see if it can be resolved without any issues.
eecafe.net is run by Eggy and e1n and Chang and them (I forget which of them owns it); perhaps Hiroy's signature or one of them from the site? Not sure why their site is flagged by Google, so I'll talk to e1n.
I forgot to look into this topic after I cleared the issue, but yeah. Google decided to blacklist the host site for no reason. Yeah, no reason. It's kind of shocking how much power Google has to pick any random host and blackist it without checking(or maybe somone reported it in spite), but eh. Sorry for the scare I guess.
at least we cleared that up.

Isn't that how they handle youtube complaints ? That being the reason Chris Bores used to be able to get a video taken down for "copyright" reasons even when it was just a webcam recording of the uploader talking with no clips of any kind ?
Looks like the host got blacklisted again coincidentally after talking of it here. It should not be a problem for anyone since I don't have any images that's on the host in my sig, but sending a request to Google all the time would be a huge problem for me.
ok…whats with the spambots in the introduction section?

Ever since we made it so that you can't make threads as a new member, its the only section the bots can attack in full force. We delete the things as they pop up. Just ignore them.

okay then thanks.
I haven't noticed, but there are usualy this many? there are like 5 on line right now.

They pile up overnight. I usually clear them out first thing in the morning.
And generally it'll be three or four all at once.
Hmmm. Chrome keeps detecting malware on this forum. Specifically on the last page of the Kaizoku Musou 2 topic. Dunno if it's someone's sig or anything that's doing it? Works fine on all the other topics I tried.
Edit: Tried it again. It says the malware is coming from onepiecepodcast.com (which is an apparently known place that spreads malware? 0.o)

Those dastardly slimeballs, taking over our computers one at a time !

Getting the same thing on the last page of the Funimation DVD thread.

It's probably a sig then.
The only one that seems applicable to both those things is Firecrouch's. As I'm not getting the warning, could those of you are check some of the other pages he's posted on recently, and see if that's where the problem lies?
Tho i don't see anything that could be doing it on the Kaizoku Musou 2 page.
The trick is of course, even after the problem is cleared, the warning sites will still list it as a problem for upwards of 2 months.
If it's a signature than our site shouldn't be flagged; once the signature in question is resolved, or the site the signature points to is, our pages would stop presenting the warning. I never even see these warnings because I don't have sigs enabled =/
i dont use chrome so im not getting any warning on my end.

yes its a sig and no our site is not flagged. but google has black listed onepiecepodcast.com http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=onepiecepodcast.com
The warrning only appears from chrome (which is linked with google's malware db), so it stops page from our site from loading because something from a malware infected host is embedded on our page.
Obviously its harmless image, but is still annoying because it will freak out normal user and wont load that page. Also Google will eventually blacklist our domain too. (and removing one signature is not a solution, many peopele use podcast sig and all of them need to be removed)
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Yeah I had a click around and just about everything with a link to onepiecepodcast is causing the forum pages to get blocked.
I can't go and fix onepiecepodcast though, obviously, so the only thing I can do is remove the signatures in question until they do resolve their issue. So like I said, if you guys know who's signature(s) have them, let them know and/or let us know and we can remove them.

seems like oppc is fixed
****What is the current listing status for onepiecepodcast.com?****This site is not currently listed as suspicious.
so it shouldn't be an issue anymore
Nope, when I clicked on Zach Logan's Signature Link a few minutes ago, I got this message:
Typing from my Home Computer, BECAUSE I actually got a Trojan Virus that infected my Laptop when I visited the site on Christmas Day. :getlost::getlost::getlost:
I know that Google can take a few days to send out the all clear. And then even longer for a browser to pick up on it.
I had this problem with a site a while back, from memory you can move the urlclassifier keyfile out of firefox's profile & reopen firefox to force it to update.
I just want to apologize on our behalf for the issue with our site/signatures. Someone had hacked into our servers, and we tried to take care of it as soon as we saw the issue. There shouldn't be any further issues. If there are, or if this happens in the future, don't hesitate to e-mail us. Sorry again!
glad to know you guys are on top of this.

Like Cyborg said, I'm glad to know you guys are on top of this, but I'm hesitant to visit onepiecepodcast again. Don't get me wrong, I really LOVE listening to your Manga Recap and Greg no Gogoi segments, and look forward to them every week, but the last time I was on the podcast site, I got a real nasty virus on my laptop that I now have to take in somewhere to get it fixed/removed (that'll cost a pretty penny); so like I said, I'm still a little hesitant/cautious.

You can always download the new episodes on iTunes if you don't wanna visit the site
