God I want to see Romney's speech. He hasn't even conceded yet!
It takes time to write down 1118 words on paper.

He's apparently clinging to the hope that Cleveland will win Ohio for him.
I meant why are these votings coming together on a particular day.
Ah. Right. Well….we're an impatient people. We have to know who wins in 24 hours else we're too stressed to go to school or work. :ninja:
Senate now has their first Asian woman, first openly gay man, and first disabled woman as members of the Senate.
I'm assuming you mean Mazie Mirono and Tammy Baldwin (who is actually a woman), but who is the third?
He's apparently clinging to the hope that Cleveland will win Ohio for him.
The fuck lol. Cleveland is like a Northeast city right outside of our eastern border. He's fucked.
Why is no one talking about Puerto Rico becoming a 51rst state?
They've said no 3 times in the past, but this year It's currently winning by 61%.

Because its easier and more economical to vote for things on one big vote once than to have people go out of there way for many little votes.

I think Mitt has the same understanding of demographics that he does basic arithmetic.

Statehood will have to get by Congress first, which is a hard sell to a Republican House since it'd be a heavily Democratic state.
@Monkey:
Exactly what happened tonight is why I've rejected the old pathetic liberal line of American shame and pleading Western Europeans and Canadians to whip us.
Because there was never nothing we couldn't be.
The Bush years taught me one big thing. Don't ever let the others hijack pride. Pride wins, pride feels good, pride motivates. Optimism. And right now, the pessimism is passing hands. Expect the shame in America to come from a new set of mouths tomorrow.
If the only news was Obama's victory, I wouldn't have felt a shred more hope for this country, but seeing a 3/3 on gay marriage really makes me feel the change of the times. Seriously, I've been watching those numbers creep up for quite a while. The battle's still going, of course, and the priority issues (economy, education, health, etc…) still linger like an anvil on an old rope, but holy shit we're actually slowly changing as a people. That's worth something.
Obama pulled ahead in the popular vote.
Trump can shut up now.
@RobbyBevard:

Obama leads Virginia by about 50K votes; much of the remaining votes lie in Fairfax, Prince William, and Caroline Counties which are more favorable to Obama.
In Florida, he has a similar margin with Miami-Dade and Osceola Counties still reporting.

Think about it.
They have to.
This will be it.
The Hispanic issue straight into the face of the Republicans. Where they have to choose.
if they are smart we get 51, Puerto Rico. If they don't? They're doomed in 2014 and 2016.
The fun has just begun.

Well, that makes sense.
I only just heard about it five minutes ago.
Colorado isn't alone.
Massachusetts and Washington legalize weed!
Never tried it, so I can't hate on it.
Shit you guys beat us to it
@Monkey:
No Trump is dead serious lol.
God I hope not. What is he trying to prove?
And Obama just passed 300 electoral votes, apparently.
I never expected that I would feel this ecstatic. Obama, the gay marriage bills, weed (don't really care personally, but all in the name of sensible progressiveness), some great fucking Senate victories. And all my friends on facebook are proving why we're actually friends, and we're all liking each other's statuses in a massive orgasmic circle jerk of liberal, democrat, progressive passion. I'm not even fucking joking here- the only thing I can think of that would actually compare to this, happiness-wise, is actually having sex. I'll be drinking heavily tonight, but it won't be because I'm depressed, for a change!

Mass legalized Medical weed.
Oregon, Washington, and Colorado all legalized straight up weed.
Coincedence is all three are fairly outdoorsy states population wise.

They'll have to do it over the kicking and screaming zombified corpse of the Tea Party.
That and the people who support it will receive stiff primary challenges from Tea Party candidates because the…
Actually, it is a win-win situation for Democrats, isn't it?
Virginia goes to Obama; Cleveland unicorn voters for Romney now irrelevant.
Sweet. After a large portion of the night looking red, Virginia, my home state, finally settled on blue.
Oh yeah, and legalization of weed and gay marriage too. Kudos.
You know over here we're overwhelmingly in support of legalization. But people have always said "we can't do it, the US will never let us"
I guess we were wrong? Also this will probably cripple BC's billion dollar weed industry.
How come I feel like the US turned a bigger corner tonight than in 08.
I'm looking forward to seeing the drama unfold as the DEA declares war on Boston.

Vancouver just became direly unhip.
So Maryland officially gets same sex marriage, and expanded gambling.
Michelle Bachmann is barely leading in her race. Come on, universe, let's make this a perfect evening!
….....Finally!
Romney's concession speech sounds like a little kid being forced to apologize by his mother.
@Monkey:
What is this? Different states have different thing son the ballot dude.
Ahh sorry my bad
Umm it was about assisted Suicide, for people with an incurable disease/cancer, actually I think it was so the person could do it themselves by taking some pills, I heard it wasn't well written though
You can tell he just got finished crying. His eyes are slightly reddish.
Can't watch Mitt's speech live from the computer.Too much lag due to traffic, but I will look forward to clips of it in the morning. I'm sure I'm not missing much.
Mitt looks sad but done. Like part of him is glad it's over. His face was more emotional and colorful than I ever remember it.
Paul Ryan on the other hand lol. Dude looked pale and uncomfortable. This was Romney's big plan, now it's over. Ryan on the other hand was wishing for a stepping stone for his career lol.
Also, Obama officially has now has a slight lead in the popular vote.

Ryan's definitely better off now than before career-wise. He was a little washed out though.

Love it!

Vancouver just became direly unhip.
Our days of liberal smugness are fading
I remember the day after Obama won when I was a senior in high school. A couple people were going up to all of the white people and being rude. It was funny, but I don't think it will happen where I'm at now.
Obama where is your speech
The crowd can't flag dance forever
Or c..can they? Is this a test?
If you can't slam with the best, jam with the rest!
Obama obviously has tiger blood running through his veins.
In a stunning turn of events, Wolf Blitzer wrestles away the comedy MVP award of the 2012 Electoral season from Romney by ejaculating on live TV 24 times. Congrats to Barry O.
Calling it now.
Even Obama's eyebrows are going to be grey after his second term
