Minnesota called by CNN for Obama.
lol
"Obama has purposely been antagonising certain minorities in this country, like catholics"
Well, two pieces of good news (for me):
Elizabeth Warren beat Scott Brown for the Senate in Massachusetts (meaning John Kerry won't have to work with a Republican as his junior sentor anymore). And a Kennedy (Robert Kennedy's grandson) won Barney Frank's seat in Congress.
Also Ruper Murdock and Todd Akin lost. So long, losers!!! Never darken the doorsteps of American women again!
lol

What network are you WATCHING?

Maine - 22% of the vote in
Question 1, in favor of marriage equality, For 54.0%; Against 46.0%
Minnesota in 17% of the vote in
Amendment 1 which states, "Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in Minnesota," For 43.0%; Against 57.0%
Tim Kaine wins in Virginia.

American Catholics do not give a solitary fuck about birth control lol.

Basically how I thought it would be, we just have to hope that the rest of the votes follow suit.
What network are you WATCHING?
A Dutch channel. It's 5AM and they need to give us a comedy hour to keep the 20 people that are still watching awake.

Man, why are these votes so close? Why can't we just dismantle marriage and be one giant indiscriminate orgy?
Stunning upsets galore as conservative havens California, Washington, and Hawaii called for Obama.
Obama = 243, Romney = 188
Also, Massachusetts just legalized medical marijuana. Duuuuuuuude!!!
Obama has a forty-thousand vote lead in Florida with 94% of the vote in; the larger part of the uncounted ballots are in Miami-Dade.

Liberal bastion North Carolina called for Mitt Romney.
I'm slightly saddened that my American friends of FB assume I dont' care about their current nail-biting and frustration over this election…I've been following it the whole time....
Maybe they just assume we treat it like they treat our next Prime Minister elections...I mean I'm not well versed on politics, but I do give a shit :P I'm still confused why you have so few options to choose from...here we have at least 4 solid parties each election, and lately the top 3 are pretty close with each other. There's always a possibility of change. I just feel like, even if Romney wins, the amount of change that he will bring will be a little underwhelming....
Does anyone remember this, BTW?

Also, Massachusetts just legalized medical marijuana. Duuuuuuuude!!!
The federal government doesn't care what they think anyway. The DEA is like some kind of mafia (granted I don't really keep up with this if anything has changed recently).
If Obama wins Iowa and Colorado (both which he's currently in the lead for), the election is over and Obama wins, whether Romney wins Florida and Ohio or not.
Iowa projected for Obama.
CBS is showing two different rallys in Maryland regarding question 6.
The supporters are en masse at the Baltimore Soundstage like a really big party and the opponents are shown in some…bland Community Center in Annapolis where theres six people hovering around a vegetable tray.
Add Oregon to the mix for Obama. Boy, that sure was a nailbiter.
