Well, Pain point of view was something he was sort of conditioned to believe and Madara took advantage of it. It would be more interesting if Madara true purpose was another. Also it doesn't explains why they despised Nagato so much, if they all shared the same objective why treat him like a pawn, keeping Obito watching over him in secret?

Bleach: Yama continues to be awesome when he fights. Seriously, how many panels did it show him pissed off as fuck? He's really determined to kill Bach (but he's willing to destroy SS to do it? What's with you, old man, you'd be screwing up the universe). I have to say…..I totally wasn't expecting Yama to unleash the undead, but I thought it was really cool for some reason. Although, I now question Kubo's sanity.
But this chapter's dogged down by two things: the freaking large panels of one character's face with no background, and the fact that we all know Bach is going to turn the tide on Yama soon. Or….maybe not? His defensive technique did jack all.
Either way, Yamamoto fighting is always better than seeing Ichigo trapped and acting like a spaz.

Naruto: Obito meets Madara. How convienent, Kishi, that Madara was right near Obito when the rocks crushed him? Madara spouts some philosophical jargan, how the world should only have "winners" and "peace" and blablablablabla. Obito has the right idea though: if I was trapped in a room with a crazy old man babbling endlessly equipped with a scythe and attached to a statue, I'd want to get the hell out of there too.

-So I'm guessing Obito "slipped through" the rocks due to his space-time jutsu. That or he really did just slip through them. The former option is less lazy, but still lazy.
-I'm with MiyamotoMusashi here. Why exactly was Madara keeping himself alive? What exactly was his plan to change the world before Obito oh-so-conveniently stumbled into his life?
-Have we ever gotten an explanation for why the first Hokage's cells are so special? And so much for protecting the assets of Konoha and not letting their secrets fall into enemy hands. Everyone and their grandma has access to the first Hokage's cells.
-Overall, a pretty slow chapter. Don't feel like much was accomplished.
Bleach: Once again, not that bad a chapter. Though the slow pace is starting to show.

I find it amusing how they invaded soul society just because Ichigo was trapped in Huceo Mundo, and all the shingami were making a huge deal of the fact Ichigo's bankai can't be stolen, he's coming to save our asses - whilst their Captain Commander hadn't even entered the field of battle yet, and then he goes ahead and pulls out his own epic bankai that can't be stolen and has so far completely dominated the QuinNazi leader and made him look like a fool, as well as having incinternated 4 Quincy with such ease.

You do see Gedo in the background and he gave Nagato his eyes. Which means he already started his plan. Gedo wasn't finished yet. Kishi confirmed plenty with this chapter.
Another question: why is Blondie just standing there while Yama fights Bach? Can't be to help him, because three Quincies were fried trying the same thing chapters ago. Can't be to shout advice, he doesn't know how Yama's Bankai works. Shouldn't he be helping out the others?

Did he kill people repeatedly as they completed the (life > death > life) cycle? But if they're "sealed" in his sword or whatever, they shouldn't have gone to the death/afterlife stage… Are there other "worlds" then? Why haven't we heard about them? Does Yamamoto have a time/space portal to go to these worlds? Does he poop? All this and more exciting questions; never to be answered! Stay tuned for more mind-boggling asinine crap!

Considering Soul Society has been around for a million years, I must for this to make sense conclude that Yamamoto is much older than he appears, and really, really hates monkeys.

To be fair, it was stated Ichigo was immune to Kyouka Suigetsu's illusion power because he wasn't there for the ceremony that made its power take.
This week's Naruto was great. Not only did we get to witness the progression of character relationships, but also got a fun and interesting battle. BREAST HAMMER choked a chortle out of me. I am so glad that this is the state of Naruto today and it isn't about magic eyeball Saddam Hussein's spider hole or something. That would be dumb.

As awesome as summoning a fiery undead army is, ten trillion seems EXTREMELY excessive to take down one guy (well, about 25 Quincies are around too), no matter how strong Bach is.
I mean, I can see a good trillion or two trample the wrong way, scaring the living daylights out of the Shinigami with weak constitutions. And I will laugh if Yama's Bankai goes horribly wrong and attacks EVERYONE.
