Possibly, but to be fair, Ataru usually deserves the abuse.
Although I love the goof.

What about in the case of a seriously weak character sometimes disciplining a very strong one? Eg; Nami hitting Luffy, Sanji, or Usopp(hey, Usopp is really durable..)
I haven't seen much female to male abuse in none jump series where it's similar to the Nami vs Luffy situation, so I don't see anything terribly wrong with that at least.
Anyway here's my peeves.

I don't even like that, to be honest.
But my main gripe is when the person is obviously getting hurt, albeit "comedicaly", to be forced to do something against their will by said female character.
Possibly, but to be fair, Ataru usually deserves the abuse.
Plus:
-He doesn't recieve abuse from girls only. His male classmates and flamethrowing angry alien toddlers are also often after his head, among others.
-Him scoffing off the female abuse can't possibly be interpreted as females being too weak to hurt him,as Ataru is indestructible just because.
- Male characters having terribly bland fashion style when it comes to clothes (Blue/Black pants and White/blue t shirt, anyone?)

Ichigo Kurosaki is a prime example I mean dude
You name Ichigo as a prime example?Serously? How about…just about any harem protagonist ever?

Neither do I.
I find Yoroichi more attractive,to be honest.Did she ever come onto Ichigo?I do vaguely remember some scenes of her being fully nude in his presence.

She just made a bs excuse of forgeting that people wear clothes and later sneaked up to him in during a bath and laughed at him saying he's a pervert if he was hoping to see her naked again.
That's pretty much it.

Ohhh nooo I meant in terms of repetitiveness..that combo is everywhere, and not just in the case of uniforms! I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing a plain outfit, but when you're a main character or supporting character you should stand out a little better…
I'm tired of girls that do battle in school girl outfits. Especially if they have the chance to change clothes. I'm looking at you Kagome! Most girls are trapped forever in alternate time lines and or demensions, but you can just head on home and take a test, bath, visit family, pick up snacks, but you never bring back jeans! Arrgghh.

Because school uniform provides the chance of upskirt shots is kawai desu?

Who needs jeans when you have a fanservice-proof skirt?
Good point, though; I completely agree…
I thought of another one while reading Hajimete Datteba! earlier:
-Guys being all over a girl with a personality/appearance quirk just because she happened to change her look in some way (new hairdo or outfit).
It's annoying because the girl in question happens to be cute in the first place, but since she's not a "conventional" beauty she gets ignored. Then all of a sudden she has a new hairstyle (Urabe from Mysterious Girlfriend X) or is wearing a different outfit for a special occasion (Kana from Hajimete Datteba!) and boom, she's become the class idol and all the idiots are drooling over her and/or snapping pictures to "commemorate the occasion."
Thankfully, this trope only lasts until the girl goes back to her usual look (which usually doesn't take too long)…
I don't like it when a character survives a massive ordeal, just to die of something trivial and anti-climatic.
In one series, the hero and his love interest survived about 53 episodes of cruel conspiracies, ruthless warfare, complete isolation, pursuit by both secret and universal powers, and even the diabolical machinations of nearly omnipotent, godlike entity. They persevere through untold amounts of murderous crap and earn their happy ending.
Then comes the sequel OAV and the woman dies from previously unmentioned Space AIDS.F' the damn sequels.
I'm tired of fan service fights. If you're going to have a fight. be serious about it.

Are you saying that fanservice fights can't be serious?
Are you saying that fanservice fights can't be serious?
Pretty much. the whole point behind the fight becomes fan service. Even if there was a plot point there it gets pushed aside for boobs, panty shots, and torn clothes. And so I skip those chapters and don't miss a single bit of plot points. And the story moves on.
Kaze. You must hate HSD Kenichi.
I'm just tired of crappy comic relief characters that would be the type to die first in horror films. Sorta like Rob Zombies' humor in his movies.
That doesn't happen often enough in manga to be sick of?
From my exerience, comic relief characters actually tends to have longer life span due to their fatality-proof-cartoon-barrier. :)
Or you mean you're just simply sick of comic relief characters.
If that's the case, there's nothing you could do. It'd be like not being able to stand female characters.
They are essential element to most comic franchises.
blonde hair blue eyed shonen heroes
Mangaka's completely ignoring their self-established rules/systems/whatever concept they envisioned for their series. Particulary in battle Shounen: Ki, Chakra, Spirit Force and all the other bogus that gets thrown out of the window after chapter 100+ because the other author is incapable of handling his own series. Kishimoto, I'm looking at you.
Togashi should teach some mangakas how to utilize a system during his free time…after he finishes new HxH chapters, of course.

Looking at DBZ myself.
@XerXes:

When did DBZ ignore it? Yeah the power scaling went to hell and Super Saiyans were popping up every arc, but the rules seemed too basic to forget.

I guess the power level thing in general. During the Saiyan arc, Vegeta was already powerful enough to blow up a planet. Yet somehow he gets his ass handed to him by the Androids and this is after going SS. And during the Frieza arc wasn't Goku's power level in the millions went he first went SS? By the Cell games their power levels were so ridiculous it was no wonder Toriyama just stopped mentioning them.
I don't think DBZ ever forgot its powerscaling. The just got so strong that they could destroy the world several times over (like a planet the size of Jupiter) and/or how thoroughly (rendering a planet's surface uninhabitable takes a lot less energy than vaporizing it outright).
I still liked that Piccolo blew up the moon early on. But it amazingly didn't mess with the tides. Or well everything.
Oh wait things I don't like thread. Um…I don't like it when massive structures get demolished and it hardly phases people. :ninja:
Remember when Roshi destroyed the moon?

I think I saw that in a flashback as I never saw a full season of Dragon Ball. They wished it back didn't they?

Nah,Kami recreated it after removing Goku's tail.

Namekians can create moons? I knew they could make clothes and over sized hour glasses, but heavenly bodies? I'm impressed.
Yep but with all the rest you must use the Dragon Balls because…...meh effort.

I didn't forget that. But I'm not sure how he got appointed to that position. It made sense when they were demons or something. But then you find out they are aliens. Was he given additional powers?

Basically, the previous God was dying and something along these lines happened:
-"Hey,you!Yes you, young green man over there.Want to be God in my place?"
-"Sounds awesome,I'm all for it."
Then the Namekian split himself into two parts to get rid of his evil side in order to be fully qualified to be God.That's how Kami and Piccolo Sr. came about.Kami became God and Piccolo Sr. went on maiming and killing people.

Hmm…that seems far too easy. lol. I remember that now. Still seems odd, that you can God swap like that.
Well, being a Warrior type Namekian, he was likely the most powerful being on Earth at the time.
So the choice is logical.
girls who are more tsundere behaviour than actual personality.
after the millionth exaggerated freak out and smack on the head for the main character, it gets old.
Crybabies and hot-tempered characters displayed exessively and sometimes inappropriately.
Kids riding superpowerful mechas!
Annoying girl characters designs with lots of pink and high pitched voices!
Not sure if this has been mentioned but im starting to get tired of the
idiotic
hot headed
unlogical
brute force
main characters, I have noticed that almost every show has that exact same main character whos magically intelliegent all of a sudden during the end of the fight after he obnoxiously rushed in and got hiss behind kicked first of course!
Ideologies and worldviews that are barely relatable to anyone living in the real world, yet written to be taken seriously.
Unrealistic motivations,relationships and personalities.
Anime handling complex political, global or philosophical issues in an unrealistic, overly simplistic or downright cartoony manner, offering resolutions to world problems in ways that require serious suspension of disbelief on behalf of the viewer.
Additionaly,I'm personaly displeased by seeing characters codified into static, stock archetypes, designed to pander to the tastes of specific otaku audiences.
(Dis)Honorable mention-intentionally faceless,ultra-generic protagonists that are designed to be sort of blank notes for easier self-insertion for the viewer.

Care to explain? Do you have some specific examples in mind?
Crazy shit happening at a school.
Like.
A bunch of kids being brutally murdered in some sick gory fashion. Most likely by some unsuspected supernatural being that crawled out of an ass somewhere.
It makes me wonder if the authors of such series had problems at school and took out the frustration on paper.
And it also makes me wonder about the timeline of events. I mean, sometimes I think "why is all this shit happening now?".
And why the protagonist is always some unrelatable outcast that's in love some some mary sue that gets killed.
Maybe it goes back to the author self inserting his own problems.
Either way, I hate that whole genre with passion.

I think it's really funny that that has honestly become an entire GENRE for first chapters
The Japanese school institution is garbage and all but lol

I take it you were also disappointed with Eden of the East…and it's two movies.
