since the equation that Oda gave us with Crocodile of doubling
The thing with Crocodile was merely the fact that, if the marine knew he was the president of Baroque Works, his bounty would have been twice as high. Nothing else.

So they're not afraid of Monkey D. Luffy but they're scared of Law ? Fucking morons …
How can you not be afraid of a guy who sent 100 hearts to the government.
Yay! Law is a psycho! Woo hoo! Sociopath doctors FTW!
This arc just keeps picking up speed. Such a great chapter.
It's cool to have Law to be a shichibukai and all but is he quite strong enough to be one??
Woah, so Trafalgar was in it too in the end!
He may be working with that gas guy (probably a result of Vegapunk's failed experiments) or maybe he is there to capture him. This is really turning interesting.
What logic is this?!
Crazy Insane logic of course. They need someone strong, and at least this one should be someone new.
How can you not be afraid of a guy who sent 1000= hearts to the government.
This can't be stressed enough.
Fighting Law could mean that you wake up in a tub of ice without your kidneys and a barrel where your junk used to be.
Fighting Luffy means a broken nose, jaw, ribs, y'know the usual stuff these ruffnecks are used to by now.
The yonkou one would've been good if Blackbeard hadn't just played that card.
Heck why don't they just re-hire Croc.
True. I'm guessing that we won't learn about the last one untill a lot of time has passed.
@Mark:

Well if someone like Moria was strong enough to be I would say Law very well qualify. Especially with his crazy DF which by itself would inspire a LOT of fear. and seeing as his bounty is more of then 400Mil I am guessing he was quite busy during the last two years and has gotten even stronger
Whoa! Trafalgar really did pull a David in this chapter. I could guess that "M" stands for methane gas. "M" might be an entity made entirely out of methane gas, I suspect. Bahohohoho!!! By the way, on the cover, is that Django?
I'm sticking that the silhouette is Jean-Bart… Crazy though. Wonder how long it took Law to get 100 pirate hearts though. It's questionable if they were even new-world pirates since he didn't immediately enter. But it also looks that his abilities must be insanely strong right now.
Crazy arc.
anyone else feel like it would be cool if buggy was in the arc!?

Moriah wasn't as weak when he joined the shichibukai and then he got fat and lazy and still manage to split the island in half but thats a complete different topic. But, yeah i guess you're right about his DF

It's Disco, that guy from the Auction House.
Law was top 3 supernova, of course he's strong enough to be a shichibukai, even more two years later.

Nah. It's Disco, the owner of the Auction House and he's now a Hobo, lol.And hey, never thought the 'M' could mean 'methane gas'. I did speculate that he is a Devil Fruit user. Don't know why he had a grudge against Vegapunk, though I think he might be his assistant/friend or a test subject?
Law was top 3 supernova, of course he's strong enough to be a shichibukai, even more two years later.
No, he had the fifth highest bounty
Law the Schichibukai I like the sound of that.
@Mark:

Could be. But at the end he was quite weak and to do prety much anything he needed a massive amount of well I guess you could say props. Without additional shadows or taking them by surprise I honestly doubt Moria would have managed to defeat Luffy and Zoro (in full health) and yet despite this he kept his title even though their main job is to terrify other pirates. Now Law on the other hand I can see him truly bringing a new meaning to the world terror and with his abilities his enemies will live and suffer and yes very much retell the tales. especially if he does it to strong warriors like he did with the samurai and then let's them loose in the world for everybody to see their humilation
Wow… I sort of saw this coming because of process of elimination, but a 100 pirate hearts! Law is living up to his nickname. I have so many quetion ODA! This manga is getting better every chapter, and to think OP could get better! Oda is showing why other manga are not in his league. On to the chapter. Is this M guy just a Logia, or just a bad project gone wrong? I'll go with the Latter because we have never seen a logia that stays in his element like this. Law becoming a Warlord. Speechless. I wonder is he the boss that Centar was talking about? Probably so. And I wonder does that samuri use a simular style as Zoro, but probably doesn't because he only has 2 swords. Brook being creeped out by the torso was hilarious. A walking skeleton being creeped out.
All in all great chap
Pandaman is such a boss, last time we saw his bounty it was just 3.333.333!
Anyway, it's been a while since last time he actually showed up, right?
On to the chapter. Is this M guy just a Logia, or just a bad project gone wrong? I'll go with the Latter because we have never seen a logia that stays in his element like this.
Most likely Logia. We've seen Smoker and his Devil Fruit which turns him into smoke but he didn't stay in that form all the time. M, on the other hand, seem to stay in that form most of the time.To me,I think it's Oda way of introducing a new DF user character before revealing his actual appearance.
Buggy got a letter after the war. The same letter that Jinbe got before he took the position. I mean, you would be a pretty dumb person to think that Buggy would reject that offer. The goverment also sees him as big-name-pirate because of the men he has under him(the impel down-escapees), the fact that he was part of Rogers crew, and that he has a close relationship with Shanks. 1+1+1=3. Simple logic, but go ahead and think otherwise, none is stopping you.
But your thinking reminds me about the people who said that it wasnt Akainu and Aokiji who was responsible for the ice and fire on punk hazard, and it wasnt Law who cut down the Samurai.
My thinking?LOL…you clearly know shit about my way of thinking.
Unlike you, sir,I NEVER treat 99% of chance as 100%. I NEVER treat a mere speculation as a fact until it becomes reality. And I NEVER stated or will ever state in this forum that any scenario will ACTUALLY happen or not...I just say that certain scenarios PROBABLY may happen or not.
There's a big abyss between treating something as PROBABLE and treating it as FACTUAL...Buggy's invitation is probable, but not factual. I NEVER said it won't happen: I just said that it's not a fact, like you did. And liking you or not, sir, it ISN'T a fact: it's just a probable scenario. We don't know if the letter was, IN FACT, a shichibukai invitation...we don't know it's true content...we just know, IN FACT, that it was sent by the WG because of the bat. And even if it was an invitation, we don't know if he actually accepted...hell:he may even have accepted the invitation and then resigned later for something else. It's PROBABLE? No. It's POSSIBLE? Fuck yeah.
That's my thinking. I treat facts as facts and speculations as speculations. I treat 99% as 99% and 100% as 100%. It doesn't matter if a speculation is very probable...I NEVER treat it as fact until it becomes reality. NEVER.
Now, just imagine what would happen if all scientists around the world started to act as you, treating very probable scenarios as factual scenarios ...LOL...AIDS would have been cured, because we already have drugs that destroy 98,9% of the virus...but that remaining 1,1% is more than enough to make the virus come back. Another example:it's said that vasectomy has 99% of effectiveness, therefore, many men tend to think that is impossible to impregnate a woman years after undergoing the procedure.Guess what? Five vasectomized men with azoospermia-zero sperm count according to their spermograms -already impregnated women in the world. We also have people that, all alone, won lotteries multiple times and even a guy that was hit by lightning bolts SEVEN times according to the guinness book. All extremely improbable scenarios..and all of them became reality.
Understood now, dude? That's the difference between something being PROBABLE and something being FACTUAL. Just because something is very improbable it doesn't mean it will never become a fact. That's what I truly call 'logic', because it can be applied to any panorama without any risk of eventual flaws. Just as the moria's case that i raised in my previous post, for example:it fits it perfectly.
can someone trans the side story cover?
Sweet chapter.
I still can't believe all the things that happend with the island due to one battle between two forces of nature. Nontheless, the result is really cool.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of the centaurs and what will happen between Law and Smoker.
But where's Bepo :O <3!?
law as a warlord is awesome. I wonder what he's doing here then? Also, if we got disco this chapter do you think we might get peterman or even better the 3 fishmen who were after keimi
Well it looks like shit but here he is
I'm proud to be a One Piece fan. Thank you, Oda.
Well it looks like shit but here he is
LOL thats pretty good.
With all the fangasms about Law appearing in this chapter, I feel like people are neglecting to notice Usopps abilities. Previously has been able to just spawn man-eating plants of various forms. But now we see he can pull Entire boats and paddles seemingly out of his ass. He has become a utility box, a swiss army knife for the SH crew lol. This chapter basically expands Usopp's abilities in such a way that Oda can now depict him as Doraemon.
Oh hi Trafalgar, long time no see.
So what's his animal motif? Leopard?
Oh Robin, I love you and your fufufus and your imagination, I really do.
LOL thats pretty good.

Doraemon was exactly what I was thinking about that pop-green bag of his. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought that.
Oh and if Smoker is to Luffy what Garp was to Roger, I find it hilarious he presses doorbells instead of making dynamic Garp-shaped doors.
This chapter basically expands Usopp's abilities in such a way that Oda can now depict him as Doraemon.
Need fanart. Now.
I don't understand why people still think the legs are for another samurai. We have a character with a head and torso floating around, and for some reason we're assuming the legs are from an entirely different plot point? The speech pattern has already been explained as typical Oda humor.
Also, does this confirm the Supernova post-TS designs in that older thread?
LoL @ Brook getting his ass kick by a torso! Anyway, great chapter so far! I admit I was a little surprised that Law is now a member of the seven warlords.
@RobbyBevard:
Need fanart. Now.
Great. I now have the Doraemon theme stuck in my head, except that it somehow has Heracles singing instead, and he's going "An! An! An! Tottemo daisuki…Usopp-un!
Now I'm wondering if Law powers would work on logias !?
And there's the confirmation we were looking for. I expected it to be Law looking at the samurai's predicament, but still curious as to his involvement on Punk Hazard, cause I don't think he's the sentient floating gas.
I am kinda wondering if Law didn't kill those pirates but simply extacted their hearts and gave them to the goverment. Essentially letting the goverment have complete contorl over quite probably a 100 strong pirates(having someone heart seems like it would be the best way ever to control someone). As we have already seen in Enies Lobby the WG doesn't mind having pirates as employees so I can easily see why they would be impressed with Law
Lol @ Zoro wanting to swim the ice cold sea again.
I don't think Smoker would pick a fight with Law cause he is more interested in fighting Luffy.
Maybe she actually wanted Zoro to be jealous of Ussop. :ninja:
Cmon guys, with that nose, its just natural that Robin would like to ride him. I mean, as there isn't any mustached man in the group, the next manly tinhg to go after is definetly a man's manly nose.
Ah also, what side Law will be ? Luffy is still in debt with him but he is now a Shichi and obvioulsy doing bad thing to some guy that Luffy may appreciate… and to start with does he know that Luffy is on the island ?
Nice to hear a samurai commenting that Brook is a sturdy one. It's actually admirable how a torso can sense people around and fight having only hands left.
Even if Law is here I don't think he is the one who is called 'Boss'. But he probably gives his assistance for his own benefit. It will nicely explain all these centaurs. And about kingpin one - remember Brownbeard, the fool who crossed Hawkings? I think it's him. If he was not killed back then, of course.
I wonder if Law is interested in arresting Luffy when he learns of his presence. And bounty raise is probably from helping him two years back. Or at least a big part of it.

Clearly Robin heard good things from Nami regarding Mansopp's nose and wants some confirmation…
I like how all those "hard" G5 marines started crapping themselves as soon as Law answered the door. Good luck getting Tashigi-chan to pay you any mind after that, you pussies...

Yep. While it's true that pirates through the ages were specially cruel and sadic to inspire terror on their next to be victims (some pirates had so bad fame ships instantly surrender without a fight) this being One Piece we are probably talking about "living" hearts.
Now, if we were talking about Kid instead of Law…
YEAH!! MY BOY TRAFALGAR LAW!!
Thank God I didn't read the spoilers, or else that surprise would have been ruined.
So, everyone who predicted it was Law all along, start patting yourselves on the back.
