This movie is going to be so bizzare that it's going be insane.

Hahahahahahah, I'd see it.

My favorite President.
My favorite Presidential assassin.
Dead(er) vampires.
Yep. Trifecta motherfucker. Shit should rawk.
-
This is the best fucking cocnept ever and I have to see it.
-
Well this is now on my to do list.
-
Finally! A revival of the concept of Vampires. With mutherfucking Lincoln!
-
Any relation to Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter?
-
Well, that's just it. I don't thinks it's possible that I can't see this movie.
-
Wow, I can't believe someone approved this.
-
-
Got nothing on Time Lincoln.
From Antarctic Press, coming to comic stores near you in about 2 weeks.
The shameless plug can end now.

Huh, I wasn't aware that Time Lincoln existed outside the realm of ATHF.

There's really only one question at this point.
Why didn't I think of this?

Because even your powers are limited
-
Will there be a sequel called Teddy Roosevelt: Professional Werewolf Asskicker?
-
@Cyan:

Actually that would be a effing awesome movie.
-
So, did anyone read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies?
-
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE YOU PEOPLE ARE BLOWING My MIIIIIIND.

-
If only Leslie Nielsen could grow a beard.

Wow, Vampires and Lincoln thrown in together. What a combo. I must see this movie.

I'm sorry, I disagree.
I'd love to see a novel on the concept of a vampire president– how immortality can alter the decisions of government, how to avoid eating from the ambassador from Peru at a conference, etc.
But I dislike Lincoln (shred the Constitution to preserve the nation, tack on the slavery bit when the war was becoming less well-liked) and I do like vampires, so it loses on two counts.
-
Ladies and Gentlemen, nearly two years later, we have a teaser:
Damn, this movies literally and figuratively looks fantastic.
-
Whoa.
My head exploded from the badassery of Lincoln's axe skills.
-
I'm wondering if they are going to also do Pride Prejudice and Zombies. I was kinda surprised to see Tim Burton producing and not see Johnny Depp or Helena casted.
-
This movie looking to be very awesome.
-
OMG i cannot wait for this to hit the theater.
Orgasms -
Oh yeah this is going to be good.
-
I loved the book a lot even though the writing was a bit dry. Lmao the movie should be interesting I think.
-
First we have Iron Sky, Now this…..
Well at least hollywood's trying to be original!
-
This has nothing to do with Hollywood. It's based on a book, so it's just another adaptation.
-
Well who ever came up with the idea, they get points for trying to be original.
-
if you think that looks good wait till you see this
-
New trailer out!
To be fair, it's not as awesome as the first, but it makes this movie seem even more like it will be B-Movie greatness.
-
Don't know if anyone's been keeping up with all the trailers and info for this, but it's being released this weekend!
I'm still super pumped for it, despite the fact that there are only 2 reviews for it out currently (as listed by Rotten Tomatoes) and one is fresh, while the other (The IGN review – so it doesn't really count) is not.
Anyway, between this and Brave, this is going to be a good weekend at the movies.
-
Can't spell ignore without IGN.
Oh-ho, I mixed it up a bit! Seriously, they gave Lollipop Chainsaw a 5/10 and now rated this poorly? IGN just hates fun.
-
Well, I'll admit that the premise didn't really seem all that interesting after the first trailer. I expected more… behind the scenes type vampire slaying. Not battlefeilds of monsters. Like, I'd prefer if Lincoln was secretly a badass monster killing mofo all along. But I dunno. I'll give this a Netflix watch despite how poorly it fares.

It's coming out tomorrow and it's already screwed! Ya~y!!!
-
Yeah, it seems like everyone has the same complaint: It doesn't laugh at itself! Hur durr.
I don't understand why this film can't play itself seriously.
But we'll see. I'll be catching it this weekend.

Funny, the only reason I became interested in this movie was because it told its story with a straight face.
-
Audience rating is 85 while critic rating is 33. That's a pretty large gap. But yeah, the book is apparently completely serious and I guess this is too. This is really the only one that does this, as movies with premises this silly usually do it in a tongue and cheek way, I don't see why it's a bad thing that this one movie doesn't.
-
So this is pretty much a 'You may like it. You may not.' movie. I guess I'll wait and see what people here think. I do admit it's pretty hilarious in a way to think of this type of movie taking itself seriously
-
People thought this film WASN'T going to take itself seriously? Wasn't that the appeal?
-
Yeah, i was a little put off by the "takes itself seriously" stuff, but in the end it turned out it was juuuuuust silly enough to not bother me.
3D adds a really neat effect to the Vampires' pupils.
-
I really enjoyed this. Saw it right after Brave, and I ended up preferring this more.
And I didn't have any issue with it taking itself seriously. It was still a lot of fun.
It's not the best movie ever, but it is what it sets out to be. Nothing more, nothing less.
