We already saw Dorry and Broggy,and the hazard sign is not their flag.Sheesh,whats up with this absurd theory?ANd the skull is bigger then a giant's
True, the skull is bigger than what Dorry and Broggy is, but I think its the same size as Oars, who was also a giant, just different from them. Oda said so in SBS 49. I copied and pasted the question about Oars and Oda's answer lower in this post. + a link
The hazard sign does resmble their flag, its not an exact match but quite similar, thats why they think that. Some can say the differences can be dismissed as the hazard sign is flat, the horns can be going up or forward, when flat it looks nearly the same. it also resembes Oars flag. Some would say it could be Oda's style has changed, after all we saw the Giant's flag in what? chapter 122? a lot of his style has changed since then esp in the little things ..or big things when fanboys sidcuss Nami's change of bara size
But seriously I don't think the giants are there, I do think its just similar design. After seeing so many comment on the simialrites I decided to put them together to see how much they do or do not look similar=

@Czechmate:
You seem to have missed the part where it was said that the skull was bigger than that of a giant, implying that it is not a giant, in addition to the fact that a warning symbol strikingly similar to the skull/Jolly Roger of Oars III appeared on the door of Punk Hazard, lending credence to the idea that this was once the frozen land where Oars came from.
Nothing suggests the presence of giants.
Oars is a giant, not the same kind as Dorry or Broggy but he is a giant. Oda said so in SBS 49 =http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/SBS_49
"D: Oda-sensei, hello!! Here's my question. Oars might be very big, but is he a giant?? If he IS a giant, does that mean he's from Elbaf? Explain the background, here! P.N. Nara Nara O: You know how there's always one REALLY BIG guy in your class? Oars is a giant, but he's even huger than normal, among them. He's not a warrior of Elbaf. There are multiple islands around the world with giants living on them. He's just a big huge, evil giant from one of those islands. That's Oars! "
I do like the idea that the island could be Oars homeland though, or at least where he died. Chopper did reveal he froze to death http://www.mangareader.net/103-2584-13/one-piece/chapter-477.html
@mokumoku:
Assuming this is where Vegapunk did all his research and experiments i am pretty sure he wouldn't want people coming to the island.
I think Vegapunk did something to de-magnetized the island so that no-one could find it with a log pose.
Raftel is probably de-magnetized as well somehow.
:ninja:
He didn't need to de-magnetize it, one of the Ministers on FI said some islands magnetic fiellds are not registered at all, so its not just one island but several that have that quality of the log needles not reacting to them. But good call on Raftel, I'd not thought of that. If the log pose doesn't respond to it, then it would explain why Roger implied there's a trick to finding it when he offered to tell Whitebeard how to get there.
@Master:
If your point is that Wano isn't Punk Hazard because Ace went there, then it doesn't disprove anything. Ace went there MORE THAN two years ago. And really? An island of eternal fire that could be where FIRE fist Ace visited? Aside from speculation that Vegapunk's experiments set the island ablaze, this is a solid theory, if not totally ridiculous.
if the island is ablaze Ace would nothave been able to learn how to weave straw into a hat as it would have burned. In that flashback it was pointed out that it was ace himself that settign the hats he attempted to make on fire, not the land he was in. And how it seems the other side is too cold, so far it couldn't grow there either. so the fact Ace visited Wano sometime in the recent past .
Since I know a few freinds that will jump on the 'recent bit'= 2-5 years does qualify for recent. 2 years for the timeskip and we don't know when Ace went into the Grand line or reached New world, just know he left the home island 3 years before Luffy, who was on the seas for several months before timeskip.
