The second to last chapter left a sour taste in my mouth with how rushed Wano ended, to the point that I ended up checking the spoiler thread after all these years.
Feels odd to have a flashback for a couple of chapters after, but that's better than what we previously got left with!

Yeah not a fan of this chapter. There's some nice moments here and there, but Yamato was handled weird. He originally came out of nowhere. Then suddenly was much everywhere, even with marketing. Yamato's gotta come back eventually as a "Straw Hat", otherwise their characterization is just odd as of now. This almost feels like with whatever happened with Paulie, and my expectations are staying low towards that anyway.

As for the Wano arc overall, I'm disappointed that a lot of scenes were cut out/sidelined/fast-forwarded. I wouldn't even care if this arc was longer. Though I'm surprised I enjoyed this arc more than typical mass-fight arcs like Marineford, Dressrosa's Colosseum, and the final war-like arcs of Naruto/Bleach.

It's also unfortunately amusing to me how Genshin Impact's Japanese-themed arc was also rushed towards the end. GI fixed some story bits later after the main stuff, but I think OP did a better job with Wano in general.

Glad to have the site back! Looks nice too, though it will of course take some time in getting used to the different buttons.

A forum for a game I play/moderate has had issues with Phpbb and vBulletin in the past to the point the admins decided to host their own forum(s). Dunno if vBulletin is the issue here, though it's a shame vBulletin is like this.

I'm not sure how to feel about a Marineford 2.0 outside the final arc, as Wano personally feels that way to me already. There was a quote from Oda prior to or during Wano, that mentioned something grander than Marineford will occur. Even though it's likely he wasn't talking about Wano. Despite that, we seem to have more named-deaths in Wano compared to the previous war.

I don't know the numbers, but I believe the Marineford war had more participants than Wano's current war. Though I think the fodder just stood in the background commentating on the 1-on-1 fights for the most part in Marineford. While we still have those fodder commentating in Wano, it just feels like there's more involvement than just them watching the fights. My memory isn't the best.

While it feels likely Sabo could end up in a repeat Ace situation in Marineford, I don't think I want to see another moment of Luffy going back to Marineford unless there's enough different beats for the arc to feel fresh. If Sabo (or Hancock) were to be captured, Luffy may have an urge to save him/her (much stronger for Sabo). Though maybe he and/or his crew may not think it's entirely worth it/possible? I'm not sure we've seen the Sunny go way off course before. Outside of half the strawhats moving ahead to Zou. There were a bunch of New World pirates showing up in time during the Marineford War, so maybe they could make it should they choose to go.

Yamato's hybrid form looked freakishly weird at first glance, but it's already been growing on me.
