Kaidou = Joker character who defeated Moria (Batman character)!
You know it makes sense!
Figuring we get more info on the Gas Gas fruit, how it can disolve into blood stream, lungs, brain, etc

The island of Dr Death (Moreau)
The Island of Doctor Moreau is an 1896 science fiction novel written by H. G. Wells, who called the novel "an exercise in youthful blasphemy." The text of the novel is the narration of Edward Prendick, a shipwrecked man rescued by a passing boat who is left on the island home of Doctor Moreau, who creates sentient beings from animals via vivisection.

Will be interesting to see how this pans out…
So, did all 4 hear the dragon's words, or only Luffy?
Wasn't Zeus' power lightning? Haven't we seen something that sends lightning constantly down… onto an island...?
Doesn't the fukyu-fukyu fruit sound more pirate and bada$$??
Sorry, couldn't resist. ;)
Still, I can only see this arc as "show the world how strong Luffy has gotten during the last two years". If he needed to go all out even before entering the NW, it would suck. And the difference in strengh should never be bigger than pre- and past timeskip. Even if he trains a lot after entering the NW, his efforts should happen in a lot smaller steps than during these two years with Reyleigh…
I bel ieve the headlines coming off this ark will read "Strawhat Pirates Destroy Fishman Island!", so another tremor that shakes the world!
So the lady on the cover… from Foxy's crew?
So, Sunny dock 16? Or Sunny at border of Old World (old era) and New World (new era)?
When Luffy shouted "FOOD!" how come that wasn't haki? Shoul;d have had everyone running around for food!
They should be suspicious as f*ck, but as you can see, Sengoku's eyes are rivetted on Whitebeard! He doesn't care about ID overflowing with prisoners, or the conditions of Hancock's agreement. As far as he's concerned, though Hancock is strong, she wouldn't defy WG on her own in any way. Why would he suspect that? He was pi$$ed with Jinbei - he expected obedience from him, so I don't see why he wouldn't expect the same from the rest of the Shichibukai. I believe they announced the execution date to force the confrontation around Marineford, but looking at the convergences on ID (Luffy, Hancock, Jinbei, Garp, Ace) it is likely that Whitebeard saw through this and that they are jumping the gun and making an attempt on ID. From a Marines perspective, ID is probably the most fortified location they have, so I doubt they ever expect attacks there, and why should they. It is a terror to pirates, a place they avoid.
Can't wait for the next chapter(s)!
