Ah, okay. I remembered incorrectly. It would have been funnier if what I said happened though. I wouldn't doubt they'd do something like that.

Yes i was imaging in my head the scene when i was reading your post
Another boring Naruto chapter where literally nothing happened.
If noting happened your blind.

According to Kurama, to save the Tailed Beasts, Naruto has to do "what he's always done."

No, wreckshit
@The:
I'm propably missing something here, but why didn't Itachi just side with his own clan and help them stage the coup? With a whole clan of sharingan-wanker illusion specialists, they should be able to set up a takeover of Konoha that involved more devious trickery, and less all out civil war.
And a Konoha under Uchiha rule lacking a few old geezers should be a greater fighting force, and thus less likely to spark global war, than a Konoha missing a throng of people possesing the most broken bloodline in the series.Plus, it had the added bonus of Itachi not having to kill everyone he loved.
Itachi was loyal to the village. Which means taking orders
@No:
While I don't positively like her, I find it annoying how Kubo once again decided "what, change Ichigo's human world circumstances ever so slightly? But that means I'd have to focus on them, instead of all the cool captains with their flashy bankais that the kids may think they could win any fight, if they just actualy used them".
I'm inclined to agree, but I could not stand having NotPerona as part of the main cast one bit.
So goodbye and good riddance I say.
This bleach chapter was the most excellent one in a very very long time. Ichigo pulled a Nausicaa and he pulled it off really well.
Edit: Well, now that I think about it, that way of caring for enemies has become a common main character thing in most good stories.
Naruto: Another slow and tedious chapter. The worst offense though was 5 straight pages of flashbacks. Funny how four of those pages focused on events from part 1.
Bleach: Another terrible chapter, but here's my main observation about it. So SS somehow took Ginjou's material into the spirit world to be buried? How?! Why?! How did they even bring a physical body into that world? I mean I know Urahara sent Ichigo and co. through some magic portal thingy that let them travel to the spirit world back in the SS arc. Is that what they did? And why would they bring Ginjou's body their anyway? WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS GODDAMNED SOUL?!!

Don't ever compare Ichigo to Nausicaa again. EVER!

Lol, who ever said they were going to bury him? >.> Guess that's why Ichigo had to come over and make sure it was done right.

Why did they bring Ginjou's body to SS?!! EXPLAIN MANGA!! EXPLAIN!!!
Kubo forgot that in the world he created when people die their souls appear on the spot and wait for a Shinigami to transport them to SS.
I was expecting ON2BetterThangz to be banned, but who pulled the plug?
Why did they bring Ginjou's body to SS?!! EXPLAIN MANGA!! EXPLAIN!!!
Well, what I meant to say is that soldiers don't usually treat enemy bodies with respect and care. They could burn the body and spread the ashes to the wind, give him to Mayuri to experiment on, etc. But they probably would not have given him a proper burial.
Edit: Renji probably was ordered to bring the body just like how people were required to bring the heads of enemy generals in the old days.

Not that I would put it beneath SS to do any of these things, but this is all speculation. Just as Kubo is hoping his audience will do, you're providing your own explanations to cover up for Kubo's lazy-ass writing.

Well you can rejoice then since bleach is taking a 3 week break.

hope he uses them to get a decent writer instead of gathering ideas.
Well you can rejoice then since bleach is taking a 3 week break.
Why? Didn't he take like a month long break before the time skip? Now look at how this arc turned out. Next arc isn't going to be better just because Kubo decided to take a 3 weeks break. In Kubo's mind planning is making a short "grocery list" of ideas he wants to include in the arc and that's it, the rest he will just write as he goes along.
Well you can rejoice then since bleach is taking a 3 week break.
If it had been mentioned, I wouldn't have minded them bringing the body for Mayuri to study Fullbringers and Ichigo being against that, but the way Kubo did is just bad. There's no reasoning for them bringing the body and Ichigo's reasoning for wanting to save him is odd after all that has happened and without Ginjou ever doing anything to redeem himself in Ichigo's eyes.

Ignore Hinata?
@RobbyBevard:
Ignore Hinata?
Who and what now?
From the spoilers, I thought that Felchverse has only one sacred soul shovel, and Ichigo had to go to Soul Socety to get it.
But then I read the chapter.
! http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/7991/poochieruka.pngAnd everything was okay.
This is awesome! XD XD XD
The only good part of this Naruto chapter was that we got to see some flashbacks of Part 1.
I haven't been in this thread for a long time so I wouldn't know, what was your opinion on the battle against Aizen (mainly after chapter 400)? I didnt watch the new movie yet but did anyone like it?

Aizen fight ended with pokeball thats all i can say.
The hell movie, started well(animation) then got awfull, the story is rescue(yeah its something new in Bleach).
So…...where does Bleach go from here?
So…...where does Bleach go from here?
Aizen could escape the prison, another group of people could appear like the vizards/fullbring, Bleach could end or any of the introduced characters get some character development, some spotlight and get Ichigo's group wrapped into something to make this manga actually readable.
New thread title:
He Was Just a Substitute Biju
If noting happened your blind.
It's ironic to be called blind by a blind fanboy. But to be fair let's take a close look at your precious chapter.
The first three pages were mainly just a repeat of the last chapter. Jinchuuriki are bad, Bijuu are misunderstood etc etc
Next we have a gag scene.
Then we have six pages in which the only thing that's done is the rod being pulled out (or actually he's currently only trying to do it) and Naruto gets some bondage action.
Followed by 5(!) pages filled with flashback scenes whose only purpose is to show that Kyuubi – a being full of evil as we once thought -- realizes that deep down he cares for Naruto. D'awww
And the last scene is a double-spread with Naruto jumping into Son's throat (or whatever that dark hole's supposed to be).
To put it in a nutshell, a rod is being pulled out and Kyuubi's apparently listening to Haddaway. Thus I stick to it -- nothing happened.
Naruto was kinda just meh. Not a whole lot really happened. Yay flashbacks?
Bleach…All those Vizards are Captains again? At least 2 of them? Huh...Okay. The Captains are all retarded. How come they didn't bring the people that could use those high level barrier spells to just imprison Ginjo and the others if they acknowledged that they were basically just humans. Ginjo is apparently not even that strong despite stealing powers on top of whatever he normally had. This stupid Ukitake is acting like he's guilty, worried thing is equally a stupid plot point. He did nothing wrong. You keep tabs on your employees and don't allow temps full access to everything, end of story. Ugh this story is terrible. I hope I can forget this arc. The next 10 years will hopefully wash this all away lol.
God that chapter…. but hey, at least the Vizards aren't forgotten. Did Shinji cut his own hair, wtf.

I notice only now thats Rose right? looks different.
Thats Rose? Fuck, this art just gets samier and samier.

It was the absolute worst possible climax to six years of build up.
And so the Fullbringer arc reaches its conclusion, and it is a truly marvelous excersise in how not to not answer any questions whatsoever, and adding more questions until the last very second. It will never cease to amaze me that despite Bleachs' notorious pacing, Kubo finds away to blast through the arc endings at some sort of bizarrely slow lightspeed. The fishman island arc currently stands at 49 chapters, with the last 5 being post-climax cooldown dedicated to all the loose ends. Fullbring arc is 56 chapters, and could barely manage two.
"Proper final scenes with the characters of the arc? Pffffft, were you really expecting to see Chad again post mind-break? And Urahara and Isshin weren't important at all this arc. What do you mean I left Ichigos sisters, boss and friends brainwashed in a house that Ichigo destroyed, and never followed up on it? You must be imagining things"
Really, theres a gazillion things wrong with this chapter (this ending, and this entire arc- I won't be wanting for material for the next while!), but for now, I'll just say that this return to SS and character re-introduction is bizarrely underplayed. It's been 1½ years in series time, and more than a year in real time for us to see this place and these guys, you'd think an author, especially someone like Kubo, would be all over re-introducing everyones new looks with great fanfare. But people just kinda show up in the panels as if it's no big deal, barely changed at all, no one acting like Ichigo started this arc by moping he hadn't seen anyone in 1½ years.
@Nobodyman: Regarding the ghost thing for Ginjo and Bradley, I've always fond this consideration extremely amusing:
Remember the Hell gates, and how they worked?
Normal people go to SS. Even hollows are cleansed of sins, and get to go there.
But humans who were evil in life? They are judged by a malevolent deity, and their souls are bound to eternal torment in hell.
Now. Ginjo and Bradley were humans.
They were killed by the shinigami, upholders of the law.
They were not sent to hell.
So basically, the gods of Bleach have declared that Ichigo has commited completely unjustified murder.
Not going to Hell is really weird for a guy who killed his wife just to see if he could.
This week's Bleach-
How fast we jump to the Soul Society….the last chapter concluded things very half-assed, and it sucks to see it's the same way here. (ugh, the whole one page with Ginjou grinning)
It's a little odd that Ukitake appears relieved Ichigo is in fine condition....especially since three of his fellow captains left because they felt he could handle things (maybe since Ukitake never fought Ichigo before and thus does not what he can do??). I was surprised to see Vizards as captains again....but then it hit me...Kensei (former captain of the 9th), Shinji (former captain of the 5th), and wtf that's Rose (former captain of the 3rd) are just getting their jobs back since Gin and Tousen are both dead and Aizen's locked up.
And I agree with Daz, you'd think Kubo would be showing off the captains as now all of them (sans Mayuri) have reappeared again since the timeskip. But it feels so clustered and meh. Another point I have is......we still have no idea what exactly the fuck Ginjou did and what possessed him to this plan. Nadda. And Ichigo wants to bury his body? Goddamn it, this arc continues to finish so anti-climatically.
Although we have Riruka leaving the story….I consider that a plus.

Wait I never noticed any ghost laying for Giriko. I mean Ginjo…..they kinda took what must have been his dead soul body there......or whatever so.....maybe, but what's this about Giriko ?
Also: it's incredibly ironic: Ichigo kills this guy and where does he go to to report ? The afterlife.
Just seems like.....dude he should be right there, why are you worried about his body ? Unless you want to….....
OHMYGOD
I FIGURED IT OUT !
Somewhat ok chapters this week, only thing i really liked in bleach (out of the little that actually took place) was seeing hirako, and also soi fon's new haircut. As for naruto like others have said there was way too much time spent on flashbacks, i would tolorate them more if they were re-drawn (i like the old art better) but it wasnt and it clashes pretty hard with how kishi draws now. I do always enjoy seeing sage mode return once in a while, but when the hell is he gonna combine his modes already or at least try?

Ah, there we go.
So, is that it for this arc in Bleach? Or will Kubo squeeze in another half-assed conclusion chapter? And what's next? …...Who knows. But trying to keep this manga afloat for 10 years, especially with this arc as an indication, is really a pipe dream at this point....
Where has Mustard gone?
Where has Mustard gone?
Nothing happened in Naruto this chapter so there's nothing to comment on. And Bleach was only note worthy in it's shittyness.
Probably why I like One piece more than both Naruto and Bleach, for One Piece can actually run more than a single story angle as its weaving the chapters. Much to the difference of Bleach who apparently can only focus on one thing each chapter, and shallow and quite meaningless angles at that.
But I gotta spell out one thing if it hasnt already been mentioned, and if thats the case I apologize.
Even if we are willing to accept Characters suddenly fading into the background and being left out of the story like Ishida, Chad and Inoue were (Honestly I thought they became stronger to not be a burden, not have to remain on the sidelines like used reserves). Even if we are willing to accept the villains lacking a visible goal, or a goal at all to understand their motivation (which none of the flashbacks even remotely tried to bring light to, just why they sort of… maybe wound up with Ginjo).
Even if we are to let it pass that SS sent reinforcements that really didn't try to accomplish their mission anymore than say hi to ichigo and waste time before leaving without confirming their mission success (kind of just assuming it'll be alright), and Ichigo desiring to bury Ginjo's body.
I dont know if this story is going to last for the 10 years Kubo says it'll do, I dont know how shallow Bleach fans can be (Which I was until Aizens defeat, if you ask me its how he went down so easily without bringing to light what he was trying to accomplish or who it was he was trying to even kill.)
But.. maybe im just insane, but I cant grasp the understanding of bleach fans. Why do they enjoy faceless storytelling like this?

Oh Bleach is easy to explain. Bishounen. Shrimpo. Bankai. Boobs. Kenpachi. Costumes.
Oldie Hawn: "Hey, Ichigo. That was a stupid battle for you to join in with. But hey, what's up?"
Ichigo: "FUCK YOU I WANT A REWARD"
Oldie: "…Okay."
Ichigo: "Gimme dat body. I need to give him a proper burial."
Absolutely WHAT?
I actually liked both these chapters. At least, compared to how they usually are.
Naruto didn't feel like it dragged on as much as usual. Neji being included in the flashback was funny, though.
Bleach had backgrounds. And stuff actually happened.
I don't get why Kensei and Shinji are captains again, though. Or why they needed to take Ginjou's body with them to the Soul Society (unless his powers are now gone and his ghost can't go there with his body already there? I dunno). And did Shunsui and Ukitake ever even talk to Ichigo besides giving him the badge? It's weird that their talking like that.
Both had problems, but were fun to read and were better than the normal fare. All in all, I'd give them both a passable purple. Too bad there's nothing between that and Raikage's belt gold.
Don't question Shinji! He's the only character I enjoy anymore.
Regarding both manga:
The hell was with this filler chapter?
Manga should not have filler chapters, this is horrible writing.
Oh Bleach is easy to explain. Bishounen. Shrimpo. Bankai. Boobs. Kenpachi. Costumes.
Don't forget the best-drawn hair in the world.
I liked both chapters.
I hated the Fullbrings and I'm glad Kubo breezed over the end of this shitty arc and is moving on. Would I like explanations? Yes. From Kubo? No, because knowing Kubo his "explanations" would contradict everything he has said in the past and things he'll try to establish say in the future, so there's not really a point seeing as how it'd just bring up more questions. I'm not saying Kubo should never explain and try to make sense of things, but he has screwed up this arc SO much… I think I would give him an exception this time and would love for him to just move on and not try and un-jumble the mess he is already in. On to more interesting things like what he promised us. Delving into Isshin's past and umm...something about the Spirit King and more on Squad 0.
And though Naruto had 5 pages of flashbacks (LOL) I thought it was neat how he used his clones to burst out of Gon's mouth. It's a variation of an old strategy he used from Part 1 when he was eaten by another giant animal.
!
Except the first time he used it was much cooler because we hadn't seen it before and he killed the snake BUT this new instance had a nice ending to it. Naruto left one in clone inside Gon to gather natural energy and bust out the chakra rod from the inside which was pretty smart since no one would suspect that. The flashbacks were sentimental reminders of what Naruto used to be and his headstrong ways. Doesn't change how cheesy and stupid it has become.
