Hey remember when Bleach had hollows in it
Naruto and Bleach: Let's put this thread to bed I
-
-
I can get behind this thread >:D
-
-
I have to wonder….what will be the next threat in Bleach? Tsukishima and Kugo are not going to last much longer, that's for sure.
10 bucks says Aizen escapes from prison.
I hope not. Even Kubo wouldn't sink that low I hope. Kubo just needs to END Ichigo's story and move on or something. Ichigo has no goals, no motivation. His story SHOULD have ended the moment Rukia was safe.
We had an explanation for his inner hollow, and well… just about EVERYTHING for Ichigo. All he had to do was kill Grand Fisher, remove his guilt trip, and live his normal teenage life. His story has been complete a LONG time ago.
THere is no driving point for Bleach, even though Ichigo has his powers back... whose he even going to use them on? Kubo's not making villains that are consequences of actual plot development, he's just made villains.
Heck, how these Fullbringers are even able to move faster than Ishida is more than enough of a questionable problem. If they're so strong, why have they not been mentioned until now?
-
-
I don't get this…
...any of this.
-
As long somebody keeps eye on Momo, she probaly asked to be transfer to the prison or something.
Aizen: "Me being judged by the likes of you? Isn't that funny?" smirk
Councilmen: "10000 more years…."
Aizen: smirk
Councilmen: "....with Momo and no sword to stab her with!"
Aizen: "You monsters! "
Anyone got that Bleach Edit with Urahara and Aizen constantly going "Well I knew you were going to do this, so I did this" ?
-
god you sniveling bitch, Ichigo
that cocky, constipated look he had smeared on his pale face after getting his powers back is infuriating
-
You know your a bad writer when a Pokemon game has a better story then you do.
-
You know, what for bleach standard, I would say that was a good chapter, you can really tell that kubo tried his best to pull it off, he almost did, but then he had to ruin it with the overdue foreshadowing shinigami.
As soon as, I saw rukia I was like kubo you ass…..why it being rukia destroyed the mysteriousness for me, here I was expecting it to be an unknown character to bring some life into bleach.
Kubo should really make up his mind, his always trying to out do himself with the same methods, ichigo’s gains power -loses power -gain powers- losses power- gain power - losses power and then gains power.
Again the only thing he manages to do right is provide me good panels to colour, I will give him that.
If am not mistaken it’s seems not only did he got back his shimgami powers, but is also combine with FB, is kind of cheap, how he got it back, though this is kubo level of writing so guess is all cool.
Kubo you let me down with all those foreshadowing making uarahara and isshin seem like there about to surprise us with the next big thing, heck is like he doesn’t know what to do with uarahara and isshin, I mean why connect them to the mysterious shinigami with all those dark shades, and him drawing the moon at night etc.. I thought he was really going somewhere with this
Kubo tried so hard to make rukia look so different is so sad damn, yeah seems like she a vice captain I guess captain arrogant had a change of mind.
-
Rukia looks even more like a pre-pubescent boy now
-
Who's more mannish? Rukia or Sakura?
-
@RobbyBevard:
Who's more mannish? Rukia or Sakura?
Sakura.
Rukia at least has curves when wearing form fit clothing.
Funny enough, Kishi can draw men that look like women, but all of his women look like men. How can he give Gaara's Uncle a prettier face than Sakura? shudders did I really just have to ask that?
-
@RobbyBevard:
Who's more mannish? Rukia or Sakura?
Tough call but my vote goes to Sakura.
-
So what's the difference between Ichigo's fullbring power and his shinigami powers don't they just do the same shit… Getsuga tenshou? So it's like losing one ability to regain the exact same one again only seconds later? One difference is the design...kubologic.
-
@RobbyBevard:
Who's more mannish? Rukia or Sakura?
I say Sakura.
Wasn't there a chapter cover that really showed her mannish appearance? Or was that one of Sasuke's minions looking like a girl?
-
If Final Fantasy X-2 taught us anything, its that different clothes give you different abilities.
-
I had always thought that the main problem with Bleach (among many others) is that his main character does not have a solid goal. Luffy wants to be the Pirate King, Naruto a Hokage, Toriko wants to make his full course… but Ichigo is just a "comodin" you can use with any plot you think because he does not have anything more to achieve.
Kubo should have given him more personality and not just make him be Aizen's pawn because it is just like saying that Ichigo's life purpouse is to be there so the Big Bad can use him for his own plan.
I think I'm being repetitive but I think that a good goal is what makes the difference between a good main character determined to achieve something and a simple character that goes with the flow.
(Excuse my English)
-
Kubo's next series should be about a rock named Rocktastic who meets his cousin, Rocky. There's no way he could screw that up.
-
Gaara's Uncle
I always though it was a woman to be honest it was complete suprise when saw the word uncle in the recent chapters, even in anime he has a woman voice.
It was Haku thing all over again. -
You know… Why does Ichigo want powers back anyway?
-
If they're so strong, why have they not been mentioned until now?
Yeah, it feels really weird that they showed up out of the blue.
What about when all of karakura town was "put to sleep" and swapped with the fake one? Were they successfully put to sleep too?And several people with previous high exposure to spirit powers and junk were running around fully conscious like don kanonji and ichigo's schoolmates.
So… we're expected to believe that the fullbringers either didn't notice that the whole town had come to a standstill, or they didn't care enough to investigate at the time.Hey, maybe they only just moved into town during the timeskip, so they missed the stuff from before.
But wait, Ginjou and Tsukishima knew everything about ichigo and their main goal was to grant him and rob him of a fullbring power...fuck it, it hurts to try and make sense of this.
we all know that kubo made these guys up on the spot. -
http://mangastream.com/read/bleach/54624477/5 This page. This page right here. It is the most stupid, illogical thing I've ever read
-
After this week's chapter Bleach's rankings are sure to going up again. I hope I'm wrong.
-
One more question, How do these people jump and move so quick with some motherflipping sandals
-
@MDL:
fuck it, it hurts to try and make sense of this.
we all know that kubo made these guys up on the spot. You got that right,; not only did they come out of nowhere, their power explanation makes no sense…...they barely have any character.
-
Did we really need this? I had been ignoring the Naruto thread since it went to pot…probably at least talks about the series now if this was needed to survive the Bon period.
The only bit of good news I admit is that there are a lot of shonen that have collapsed that remain dead regardless of what the mangaka do. Sadly...with Rukia back, that means Kubo can run amuck again and do whatever he wants as long as he keeps throwing Shinigami in it, regardless of how WTF the series gets like during the whole Fake Karakura/Ulquiorra/Aizen mess.
-
After this week's chapter Bleach's rankings are sure to going up again. I hope I'm wrong.
Dont know, when ichigo got is eyes slashed the ranking went up but the next one was ichigo transformation went down (if remeber well this was the one with "cliched villain line").
But its is possible. -
I can't help but think that Ichigo's father is an asshole. Well so is Ichigo, acting all smug on the last page after he was ready to cry. But still… there is no reason given within the plot that should make Ichigo regain his powers. Ginjou and Tsukushima were about to leave everything as they had gotten what they came for, and I'm damn sure Urahara and Ichigo's father could have dealt with the problem anyways. His friends are perfectly safe, even if their memories were slightly changed. They really are under no threat now. Ichigo fights to protect, but there is nothing to protect. Why fight? At this point, this series should be called Windex, because Bleach ended when Aizen was defeated.
And in Naruto... Kishi trolled his fans this chapter. "You know that crow you've been wondering about for over two years kids? Nothing. I just rendered such plot device as useless. F%#$ you."

You can have a decent story with a character that just goes with the flow, their goal becomes whatever their task is at hand before they go on with their normal life.
Yu Yu hakusho handled it pretty well until the after the Sensui arc. Yusuke never truly had any life goals, he was a delinquent, and acted as a delinquent should. What drove him to do the tasks he did was simply, "Do this or everyone you love will die." Some people just don't have goals.
The problem with Bleach is Ichigo simply isn't fun to watch. A goal would probably help, but not much now that I think about it. It's all on Kubo's ability to write a fun character, which he has shown being capable. Kubo lost touch with what made his series so great. Like Kon for example.

god you sniveling bitch, Ichigo
You can call him Bitchigo to save space.
@RobbyBevard:Who's more mannish? Rukia or Sakura?
Sakura. Rukia at least has a feminine face.
@RobbyBevard:If Final Fantasy X-2 taught us anything, its that different clothes give you different abilities.
It's also possible to change clothes instantaneously in battle

Looks perfect imo.

Makes perfect since given how Soul Society works.
I have to wonder….what will be the next threat in Bleach? Tsukishima and Kugo are not going to last much longer, that's for sure.
10 bucks says Aizen escapes from prison.
I didn't see Aizen's end, so pardon my ignorance for asking:
They're willing to execute Rukia for…..whatever it was, but Aizen is merely imprisoned despite causing so much damage and effectively framing Rukia and also being a traitor?
What gives? Did Kubo make him immortal or something? -

Bingo,your answer is correct.
Edit:Damn RPGJAY is too fast.

What gives? Did Kubo make him immortal or something?Yep. However, it still makes the principle completely unfair to Rukia. Why didn't they just imprison her? Oh wait, the Central 46 seems to be the antithesis of democracy, my bad.

Interesting plot (device) Bleach has. It's not coherent, and it's overly complicated, but it's interesting. It's like one giant "filler".
Naruto was cool this chapter too. Too much, "Naruto, I choose you to forge the world's destiny, because you love my brother," but still a good chapter. I mainly liked it because Itachi and Nagato still kick ass–albeit with their reality-hacking eyes which I dislike somewhat. Itachi gets bonus points for not predicting the future, but by playing a good "card". I mean, he expected Naruto and Sasuke to meet, and allowed Sasuke to continue protecting Konoha whatever that outcome becomes. Too bad, it ended up being used on himself, and now Itachi has to resort to faith in the Messiah (Naruto) to convert Sasuke's delinquency back. Edo Tensei still proves to be ridiculous, overpowered (even by live sacrifice standards), and lame.
One Piece still has the best character development, since it doesn't depend on intricate planning.

Naruto had no good chapter this week.
-
I'm calling it, Aizen comes back as a good guy!

Thanks.
Great, so he's like Free, except he sucks.
And yeah, it's super obvious Kubo just kept him around so he could pull him out again. This guy could end up taking his tenacity to Naraku levels.
I'm going back to Soul Eater. At least their immortal prisoner guy is cool. So cool Ohkubo broke him out of prison early (God I love Free).
EDIT: Actually, I'm with MetaMario on this one. Next arc will be Aizen breaking out of prison, because I think Kubo's enough of an idiot to have this internal monologue:
Kubo: Oh shit, my ratings dropped. Wait, this happened after Aizen's arc. I MUST BRING HIM BACK! -
Yep. However, it still makes the principle completely unfair to Rukia. Why didn't they just imprison her? Oh wait, the Central 46 seems to be the antithesis of democracy, my bad.
Aizen killed everyone in Central 46 and gave the order. Hitsu went to investigate and found them all dead. Those people giving Aizen his sentence are new.
-
I'm calling it, Aizen comes back as a good guy!
The Spirit King was a bad guy all along so Ichigo will team up with Aizen to beat him.
-
so i read bleach
and then ginjou was like
"dude, dont kill him! that means we can't lose!"
and then he was like
"LOL MINDFUCK ME I CANT ACT"
and then his sword magically sucks up his fullbring
and then ichigo is like "BAAAW GIVE ME MAH POWERS BACK"
and ginjou is like "LOL NO but i will still let you live because… u know, i dont like winning"
and then ichigo gets stabbed and blames his dad for stabbing him despite him holding no sword
and he only spots rukia after they tell him shes there
also he sees the sword despite having no powers which was the reason why he COULDN'T see things like that before
also shes lieutenant now despite this being a plot point before
and i think her haircut changed?
oh, and ginjou and tsuki only noticed those guys just now despite them probably leaking reiatsu like crazy and ichigo talking to his dad and didnt consider them for some reason despite ginjou knowing about ichigos dad and most likely also knowing he is a shinigami and still they did not bother about him
also, ichigos outfit changed for whatever reason
so...
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK WAS THAT?!
-
The Spirit King was a bad guy all along so Ichigo will team up with Aizen to beat him.
Just as Planned.
-
Naruto had no good chapter this week.
Based on the frequency of Naruto comments compared with "Bleach is retarded" comments, I'd say Naruto was relatively decent. Kishimoto may not have the IQ of Ohba, but it's good enough to make a successful kid's fantasy about magic and demonic powers.
-
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK WAS THAT?!
The only native Bleachtard on my other forum tried to explain it to me.
An *** pull is something done without foreshadowing. He has been foreshadowing and setting this up the entire arc. Rukia didn't come out of nowhere. Her presence was forshadowed long ago. This method of getting his shinigami powers goes back to the first chapter. He even used the same chapter name in case people missed it. The foreshadowing for this turn of events wasn't exactly subtle.
What did all this do? Let me see…established the characters after the time skip, introduced a new group with new powers, created a new nemesis for Ichigo and a reason for Ichigo to want to fight the guy, created a dilemma with some of the main characters on the other side, and set up a new conflict.
I guarantee this method of getting his powers back will have some bad consequences for him. If it didn't, they would have done it a long time ago. It's something his father sees as taking his future away. Getting his powers back came with Hichigo as a complication before. There will be some complication because of this.
It should be noted the only reason this guy reads Bleach is because they have lots of Loli characters.
-
Speaking of Naruto (since it's probably the first I've spoken of Naruto in months…maybe years):
Yeah, you do realize that the only reason "Shisui's Mangenkyo" was introduced was just so that Kishi could find some bullcrap way for Sasuke to negate that in the inevitable battle, right? Stupid act is stupid...but the series really hasn't made me rage like Bleach so it's not like I can't yell or scream at what essentially has been crap for a long time.
