i just recently got sme exciting news from Luci Christian at this con just today… my friend asked her how far they've gotten in the dub and she said they were somewhere around the late 300's... this is no joke!! I was so happy to hear this!! So this mean that season 4 is confirmed to have been obtained by Funimation!

4kids Fans, the sequel.
I got to the Art Institute of Indianapolis which has both an Animation degree and a Culinary degree among others. So I was talking to one of my friends in the "Tech Cage" (where Graphics Design students can print off, Animation can get Cintiq Pens or Wacam Tablets, and Photography can get cameras).
This one Culinary student, whom I think no one likes (at least the general public) was next in line. The last week I was sick, and I was joking with my friend about how I sounded like David Moo's Sanji while sick. Cuilnary kid popped in and was like I love One Piece, til they switched the voices.
Then made multiple cracks about how Zoro became piccolo. Again, he didn't know it was different companies switched production.. Actually, I think he thought Shonen Jump did the dubbing. Anime fans today?

hey guys i found out today that Luci did in fact tell us wrong at the con… i got a very brief chance to talk to Mike today and he said they haven't dubbed more... but the definitely plan to... really sorry for false post :( ill think twice b4 opening my big mouth next time >.> hope this helps

The thing is, If One Piece is profitable enough for them to "Definitely plan" on getting it, then that pretty much means "It's just a matter of time".
Though, this is 3rd hand information, so we should all take this with a grain of salt.

oh man..please PLEASE let them get season 4 DX I've been waiting for 4 years now, I'm soo soo wanting it to come true DX!!!!! ARGHHH!!!! My FMA Brotherhood boxset might be here Monday. I thought it was supposed to come out next month with One Piece's next boxset. Boy was I wrong xD I'm very excited to get it __

That would seem to concur with the line of thought that they can't get anything new until they've fully released their current contract of episodes. With that said, I'm sure we'll get something beyond S3V5 before the end of the year

It sounds like, due to contract or company policy, they can't go after season 4 until they done releasing season 3.
That or Mike is covering it up for legal reasons. CONSPIRACY! BAD SUSHI! THAT SEQUENCE OF NUMBERS FROM LOST!
Seriously though, I'm sure production is done by now and they've probably sent the episodes to the printer/presser/the factory that makes the DVDs by now, we're just waiting for Right Stuf to ship them early, or the street date. So it's PLAUSIBLE that Mike has to say that even though they may have started work on Season Four Voyage One.

From everything I hear, One Piece Season 4 is not off the ground yet. Likely, negotiations are still going on. If things are as they are in the UK…well you can guess the reasons from there.
I'm sure REAL leaks will come through if we hear something.

What do you mean, have I missed something?
I'm assuming this but I read Zack's reply as him suggesting that when it comes to how FUNimation releases the series, they must release the episodes in numerical order. This is the exact same demand that Toei Animation has issued for the movies; regardless of what had been previously dubbed, any UK company would have to start off with the first movie because it was the first film created.

Late to the party but oh well.
I too was at the panel with Luci when she said that they had dubbed up to the 300's. Then right after she said that she also added that she could be wrong and that she could be playing the 'stupid voice actress' card. She also had a confused look on her face. Later that day I talked to both Mike and Luci and after the interview I brought that up and Mike confirm they haven't dubbed anywhere as high as that. I even
that but it would seems like some weren't paying attention.
Still to add more fuel to the 'Funi got One Piece Season 4' fire. At the start of the same panel, Luci did said that she couldn't talk about anything concerning future One Piece episodes. That she wasn't allowed to. So that could be a sign that either Funi got it and telling their VAs that they can't say anything or at leas told them that they are in the works but nothing is set.
Now I wished I had voice recorded the panel….note to self in the future.

The Ace Blackbeard fight is on Ep 325, I assume thats where a season will start. Soooooo ep 324 minus 207 is 117 episodes, 13 eps per volume is 9 volumes exactly. I think 9 volumes is a bit much for a season so I bet they will split it up.
