I've never been good at guessing Oscar winners, but I can tell The King's Speech is going to walk away with the most awards.
I haven't seen it. I really want to.
@Flux:
That doesn't really make sense. I'd prefer a film like Inception to a film about a paedophile going airborne with a chubby little cub scout.
Okay, it's great that is your opinion and everything but…
If you actually saw the movie, you'd realize how baseless, ignorant, insensitive, and idiotic that statement really is. I can understand liking Inception more than any Pixar movie, if that movie is your thing. But my word, that's a blind thing to say.
I'm sorry, Flux. But seriously. The first ten minutes of 'Up' spikes your comment down to a fragment of meaninglessness, and I say that due to the fact that the first ten minutes of 'Up' actually has meaning toward the entire movie.
Don't watch the movie. I don't care. Just don't pass judgement as offensive as that. And this is coming from someone who liked PatF more than Up, and wanted PatF to win a bunch awards.
@Kaiolino:
HTTYD easily had the best score of the year. I don't see how TSN and TKS had such a better score when they were almost completely forgettable. HTTYD's score was grand, epic, touching and enhanced every single scene in the movie.
Sorry for all the abbreviations. Lazy.
Meh, I won't hold that against you.
I kind of want HTTYD to win best animated picture, although Toy Story 3 is lightyears better. If HTTYD actually won, maybe it would lead to more movies like it from Dreamworks. But Toy Story 3 WILL win, and that's just fine.
