Yeah really suprised about what luffy did. I believe that the tattoo is a tribute to both ace and sabo as it looked like an A and S were scrathed out and Franky looked epic with his face blown off.

So I completely misunderstood the spoilers. I thought it was Blackbeard who attacked Capone, but he was actually sucked into a… I don't know what that thing is.

AMAZING CHAPTER!!!!
I have to admit I didn't like the previous one all that much, since it was all just foreshadowing and no answers. It was mysterious for the moment, but once it all clears up, the chapter will lose all of it's spark.
This one, however, had so many events I found myself having to pause inbetween not to end up in utter confusion, none the less each more interesting than the last.
So many answers, yet so much mystery in one chapter!!! The first three pages alone contain more material than the average Bleach chapter.
I guess this chapter removes the Buggy for Shichibukai theories… sadly.
What Luffy did was certainly out of the guessing range, but not disappointing. It lived up to my expectations in that it was a "big incident" even though I didn't quite understand it at first. What's even better is that there is more to come. I wonder what the message to the crew members could be... Man, am I glad there is one more chapter before the next "break".
And finally, FINALLY, I'm actually hyped for the New World!!! :D
Also, glad to see Brownbeard is about to live up to his fodder status (probably).

Oh yeah, I forgot all about that by the end of the chapter. The two most iconic Marines are resigning. And it looks like Aokiji is going to be the new Fleet Admiral. Kind of strange since Akainu looks to be the most committed to his job. I wonder who will replace Aokiji. Smoker's continuing to follow the SHs into the New World, too.

It's kind of annoying, really, that his entire crew understood his message and we're all clueless as to what it could mean. Or rather, we're full of clues, but we can't figure out how to put them together in the right order. This is troubling, indeed.

I take back my comment regarding Zoro's stupidity; he completely understood the message. But he still tired himself out by fighting all those Humandrills. Figures.
And Franky. Whoa, I did NOT see that coming… now I can't stop laughing about it. And with Brook's face in the panel beside his, it's like a comparison: Skeletal zombie to Cyborg zombie.
As expected, both Garp and Sengoku resign, then, joined by the goat, have a nice senbei-cracker-and-tea party. Kong looks marvelous, so does Aokiji in his office, the supernovas experience the chaos firsthand, Luffy paying homage to those considered dead... the Amazons pulling at Jinbei's and Rayleigh's faces. So much to take in with this chapter!

And we saw a moon like object floating above the sea and an island full of lightning in the New World.
If this chapter isn't some clue that Enel will be coming back into the story, I don't know what is.

Aside from Franky making me laugh out loud like I haven't done in a good long time, I loved this chapter. Even though they're still delaying a lot, they manage to make every weekly chapter just as juicy. I love the New World designs and it's making me even more excited to see it when Luffy actually starts the second half of his adventure. I also like seeing what's going on with the marines, since a lot of major things have happened. I wonder what future role Sengoku will play, since I doubt this is the last we'll see of such an important and built up figure.

1. it's OBVIOUS now that there's an hidden message in what Luffy did, since all the Mugi "got it" (besides Zoro, lol)
2. I still don't get the end...is it just meant to say that the NW is dangerous? So that means that Urouge probably ended up being killed as well (who's that old man...?)Ps. All Perona-willjoiners will say plenty of things on the "Perona was holding the newspaper for Zoro", you know that!

I agree this chapter seems to hint at enel. Seem to big a coicidence that the SN from the Sky Islands runs into a lightning Island. Not saying Enel responsible, just that if there was a place to make a return that place would be perfect. Like to see Thunderlord Makugai too.

Thinking about Coby and his Haki developments, I think he'll be a force to be reckoned with sooner or later. He seems to have an inherent talent for Haki manipulation, considering that among all the tens of thousands of Marines at Marineford without Haki, his was the only one to awaken so fiercely, and his is the first instance of especially Mantra-like abilities we've seen since Skypiea. After some more extensive training with Garp, Coby will probably play a pivotal role in the second half of the tale.
I really like how we're seeing more characters than just the Straw Hats, and I hope this will continue throughout the New World. I still hope to see the Straw Hats as the main focus of the story, but it's a shame to leave the adventures of the other characters to the cover-stories and post-arc reaction chapters.
