I seriously doubt this for the simple reason that the crew would have no idea where or why they would "start looking". As far as they know, Luffy would come to Rayleigh the same as they did. As for what I suggested, I figure Oda added in the bit about Rayleigh's card being in Luffy's shorts for a reason, and the fact that Law is now here (of all people) to help save Luffy adds to that since Law is one of the only other people outside of Luffy's direct crew that knows he was affiliated and last seen with Rayleigh. Oda might go another route, but I see nothing that suggests it at the moment. If anything, I would say FI needs time to get a little crazy before our "heroes" go there.
It's just a feeling. I don't know, but Law returning Luffy to Rayleigh don't seem "dramatic" to me. Luffy may still have the vivrecard, but will he wake up to say to the others the importance of that? (Then again, Law may find the card by checking Luffy's belongings).
The crew having no idea of where he is (but knowing he was at Marineford in the war) and having to search for him, though, could make the reunion seem like a struggle.
Anything can happen, however. I agree that there's a huge possibility that Law will simply return to Sabaody.
