My feelings on the VAs (that's what we're talking about now yes?) went something like this.
Luffy - Colleen - She had a bit of an odd Start, she started during a Phase where Luffy had no real emotional lines to deliver, it was mostly happy loud Luffy, which is unfortunately the only emotion the 4kids VA EVER portrayed, so I was concerned at first, but once she did the Bellamy Punch episode, I was sold on her. I didn't think she was perfect then and there, but that gave me faith she'd fall into the role nicely with time, which she did. By the time Luffy was singing his island song in Upper Yard, and the Fight With Enel, It was a done deal.
Zoro - Chris - Zoro sounded fine from the get-go to me actually. My only real problem was the script writing, not the acting. (His "Professor Zoro" Lines where he sounded like a Genius) I think Chris and especially the script writers have all fallen right into line by now.
Nami - Luci - Perfect. she was one of the only two voices I was sold on from moment 1. She nailed Nami's voice perfectly.
Usopp - Sonny - And He's the other one of the two voices. I know some people were like "He sounded too much like Krillin, Durrr" but… if that's the case, why does anyone Like Japanese Luffy?... Tanaka sounds exactly the same. Watch One Piece and Dragon Ball Kai in Japanese, she sounds exactly the same.
Sanji - Somewhat of a mixed bag at first. I wasn't sure if I liked his voice because it was good, or if I liked it because it was just better than the 4kids (not a hard thing to do) So I decided to give him time to Grow into the role, and by Sanji's "Thanks for the Light" scene on the Maxim, I Was sold. If he hadn't nailed it from the get-go, he fell into line perfectly.
Chopper - Brina - Liked her voice, but in the beginning, she didn't sound enough like a Little boy. She sounded like... A Little girl trying to sound like a little boy... if that makes sense... by the time we got to the Gedatsu fight I think she fell into it nicely.
Robin - Stephanie - Ok... GREAT Voice, fits Robin like a Glove from day one. BAAAD Script Writing and Directing. She was WAY Too bitchy. They fixed this though, she sounds PERFECT in Unlimited Adventure.
Franky - Patrick - He's SUPER! No, seriously, haven't heard enough yet, but what I did hear in the game grew on me. If he sounds like that in the series and can actually do the dramatic scenes, I don't foresee a problem.
