For God's sake use the shift key.
I agree though that Forrest Gump is an excellent film.

Lesbian vampire killers, you get lured in by the title and stay for the awesomeness.
Yeah, watch The Hurt Locker. That movie was hardcore. I'm a pussy but I can still recognize hardcore. And The Hurth Locker is hardcore.
All the Kevin Smith movies. All the Quentin Tarantino movies. All the Police Story movies. The Die Hards. The original Star Wars trilogy. I could keep on being generic…
A Clockwork Orange, Heathers, Girl, Interupted, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Lucky Number Slevin, Fight Club, Seven, American Psycho, Memoirs of a Geisha, Galaxy Quest, Mystery Men, Go...
Lesbian vampire killers, you get lured in by the title and stay for the awesomeness.
Apart from Paul McGann. A terrible terrible movie. Those two from Gavin and Stacey should never be allowed near the words comedy again.
If by terrible you mean awesome then yes.
^^ i fell asleep during the movie…

i was actually hopin for some proper lesbian vampire action. I'm disapointed…
The title lured me away. I dun wanna be seen watchign that :V
Let's just hope that your negativity wont lessen the chances for the promised sequal where they have to fend off a band of gay werewolves that constantly try to "bum" our heroes:ninja:
Conversation should now switch to this movie.
I HAVE THAT MOVIE.
it's outstanding.
My favourites are American History X and Lttlel Mrs Sunshine so I recommend them.
So some Movies you have to watch when you get a hand on them or are bored:
-Repo-Man (rly nice ending)
-Inception (don`t have much to say about this one)
Yesterday a friend and i were watching "mindfuck" films..
don`t know ,when you like such movies and can handle some not so nice scenes you should definitely check out some of those
-Martyr (has some rly shocking scenes in it…isn`t rly known but a movie you should watch when you can handle some blood)
-Donnie Darko (actually a classic one, but saw him yesterday the first time(yeah, i know iam late)..cool and a lot of stuff goes on.
Definitely a MUST-SEE film.)
-the Jacket (thought just one scene was rly cool, the rest was okay i guess. With Allan Brody)
-Funny Games U.S (my personal favourite..rly intense, dark and shocking.
YOU have to watch that movie when you haven`t so far..a masterpiece and totally what i expect from a mindfuck movie^^)

Wow this must be a sign, this is the 3rd time this movie name has shown up infront of me today and i've never seen it or know anybody who's seen or spoken of it before. Gonna go watch it now i guess.

Watched it with about 20 people (at our anime club).
Wow. Just… wow.
Momento. is really good from an editing and story standpoint.
Stalker. Go watch it. Now.
Er..Unleashed with Jet Li was a fantastically good movie, and I highly recommend that to any Jet Li or Martial Arts movie fan.
mario bros movie , pretty weid how they can fuck up mario

the Human Centipede.
Abbott and Costello's hold that ghost, it's just what you need after a long hard day at the job.
The Prestige - Really excellent film, you are rewarded for seeing it more than one, lots of twist and turns in this one, you really have to be paying attention in this one.
It is directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman.
One of my top 10 movies ever.
Unmasking the Idol
This movie is so bad, it's unintentional comedy. It's about a 007 ripoff agent that is the world's greatest ninja with a pet ninja monkey that somehow manages to dropkick enemies into submission. It's like 007, Mortal Combat, Power Rangers, Indiana Jones, and others combined into one pile of WTH.
Here's the only clip I could find.

Fish Story.
You've heard me rave about it in the titular thread.
You MUST see the movie.

I actually JUST downloaded that the other day after finally finding a torrent for it, after hunting for it off and on for the last couple months. Didn't quite get to it this weekend. But soon. As I understand its a movie that demands two or three viewings.
(I'd buy it if it were, ya know… buyable.)
You will want to rewatch it a couple times but watching the last four and a half minutes is something you'll want to do again, and again, and again, and again…
Scott Pilgrim. You have to see it at least twice.
Fish Story.

Watched it right after you suggested it and it's an excellent movie. Those are the types of movies that I like to watch. I don't think you need to watch it more than once, though, although you might want to because it's awesome. And I agree, the last few minutes are an incredible piece of cinematography.
Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky.
It really isn't good, but the amount of fun you can have when watching it with friends is GREAT
@Mr.333:

I am a Li fan as well. I think I will take a try.
So far, I think Kiss of the dragon was his best movie in terms of action. The bateaux mouche escape was one of the best action scene I have scene. It does not use CGI, the music is magnificent, the setting is awesome and the pacing is realy good.
When it comes to Jet Li movies my favorite has to be Black Mask.
With Fist of Legend as a close second.
One obscure movie people either love or hate is the Foot Fist Way. It's a really different black comedy. I think people should check it out because when people like the film, they usually REALLY like it.
Its not every day you get to see the Japanese Pulp Fiction.
Fish Story.
Yeah…. its all that Greg said it is. I'll be watching it again this weekend with friends.
It needs an official stateside dvd release like, now, dammit. its a crime that this flik is torrent only at the moment.
I recommend Vampires Suck! to everyone
I'm downloading Fish Story right now, all the praise for it has to come from somewhere.
I'd like to recommend Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva. I know the games, but have never played them and thus was worried I wouldn't "get it", but turns out I was wrong. It was peculiar, sure, but also immensely enjoyable and beautifully animated. I swear, if I had extra money, I'd so buy a Nintendo DS and get my hands on the games!
I'm sure you'll enjoy Fish Story.
I just watched
Interstate 60
and i think its a rly good movie which is worth watching. It
s like a fun ride with some philosophical questions how to handle your life and how you make decisions of your own.
Also a lot of guest stars are in it:happy:
I recommend Vampires Suck! to everyone
Please explain? Wasn't this movie written by these turds that gave us Scary Movie 2 & 3 ? ..I mean they are the modern Michelangelo of barf & fart jokes.
I have no idea ff someone already posted this, but onwards. I highly recommend Shaw Shank Redemption. Its a great movie with a good story and some enjoyable scenes.
The original Solaris. You know what? Just go watch all of Tarkovsky's movies.
I watched "The Machinist" with Christian Bale, where the end is rly good, but somehow i expected a bit more.
Non the less definitely watchable.
Ohh and because i haven`t seen it mentioned yet.
Watch "A Clockwork Orange"!
A true masterpiece.
the movie i recently watched and impressed me was inception it's really a wonderful and awesome film!
@The:
Pan's Labyrinth … nails you to the seat
oo. loved that. i saw its equally lovely, older sibling, "the devil's backbone", premiere at tiff, hm, the night before the towers fell, i think. (and meh on del toro's other works that come too quickly to mind.)
Its a mediocre movie, which is really quite incredible given that pretty much anything that feature's ol Jack in a leading role should be awesome.
i wondered at that, too, but i also wonder if jack nicholson is an actor in movies any more or if he is just jack nicholson in movies.
Phone Booth - Saw it the last week by accident, and it blew me away. I usually dislike things with such little change of scene, but it was really captivating. Fantastic movie.
Batman and Robin…

It is SO bad that it becomes SO good. I always have a good laugh.
