That's not how hormones work, they don't interact with genes, they themselves come from genes. IIRC DNA sequences are read, produce different proteins, some of which become hormones, and the abundance or lack of those hormones determines some physical traits. So unless Ivankov knew which hormones to add/boost inside of Sanji, your theory seems very unlikely. Also you can't control your hormones, or hormonal responses, so Sanji would have no way of suppressing them.

I don't think I say that hormones interact with genes directly. I just pointed that they can make traits manifest. That's what I'm tying to get across - not that I'm claiming to be expert on these things that you take offense on (and I'm not, I just recalled it).

Anyway, since you get what I'm saying, yes, it will be a matter of Ivankov knowing which to 'push-and-pull'. And there goes the stretch, maybe Sanji revealed some things about his past to Ivankov in a conversation that made him curious. I don't know. This is just a theory - unlikely, I agree, but still something worth a thought.

Bullying doesn't have to be only physical, for example Reiju only joined when it was verbal. Also with 3 people they can easily gang up on a stronger person, this in fact happens in real life.

She just says she is afraid of being bullied, it doesn't mean that she is weaker than their strongest of them.

So might be a problem of mangastream but are they leaving out reiju on purpose when the scientist talk about the brothers, did she have an earlier type of genetoc mpdifocation or perhaps none at all. She seems on par with them in the pictures but when talking about sanji's skill they only refer to those 4.

To be honest, I doubt there will be a mother. If there is she probably just donated the egg. The conversation with Yonji seems to indicate that these guys can fabricate memories of 20 years on the Germa. That 'mother cooking' is probably just another story Judge fabricated. He probably doesn't want to unveil immediately that his children are unnatural. And Sanji's gene modification has been successful, said the scientist. His abilities just didn't manifest.

Come on, you should be psyched for Sanji's potential now, considering you're sporting that avatar since long I remember.

Hey, as it turns out he did feed mice as a kid, and it was not just term for feeding lower class people. It makes the Cinderella comparisons even more on the nose.

Also the full detail of the cloning program really shows a disturbing aspect of Gemma 66 on how they treat their solider's lives. Even if they are clones, I agree with Sanji that treating their lives like things is really evil.

But Sanji has the gene though, the data guy said on paper all the 4 genes were modified but for reason they can't explain, he didn't show the attributes. So, if Sanji has the modified genes, for sure it will be expressed, all he needs is the right trigger.

I think it's possible if Ivankov knew of the specific hormones, but I think from a thematic standpoint it would be much better if Sanji beat his family just by being a normal human, not a genetically modified one!

Quite the chapter. Sanji is Dicaprio in the world of Akumetsu, a failed clon who only wants chicks and has a little sense of justice… regarding chicks and starvation.

It's interesting the fact that WG may know Judge was a scientist making the dna manipulation proyect but still a king and let him participate of the Reverie and such matters. They are really corrupted D: or don't know about it.

Sanji will overcome his ambiguity when Nami is in peril... or dressed like an Okama. I suppose Kenbunshoku will help him on that.

I wonder how Sanji removed that helmet, I think a small part of his "new" genes awoke so he was able to escape from that prison, and Judge decided to keep him to make more researchs. I also believe that parts of those genes have been triggered with every fight Sanji had so that's why he can use Diable Jambe. Maybe his nickname was going to be related with devil or heat.

By normal I mean without their super-gene manifestation. They seem to be under the impression that thanks to their gene they are better than everyone, so if the only way Sanji can beat them is by manifesting those same powers, then that proves them right, which is thematically not interesting

I want to say this again, but Judge is a complete dick. I know some pretty bad anime fathers, but he just takes the cake. He should have had Donquixote Homing as a father, because he would have be appreciative of his gifts and being a very nurturing figure. Yeah, the guy was extremely too naive for his own good, but at least his heart was in the right place.

We didn't get a haki explanation fir his diajamble attack. And now he's got even more fire. Although he credits that with being stuck on The Okama island. Still…His siblings and father do the lightening and poison thing. He gets fire.

Also as much as I would like an explanation for Zoro's Ashura....Sanji's reveal makes more for what his explanation could be lol.

Ashura is even more strange as Diable Jambe. What is special about it after all? We have seen more than one people without DF able to create fire or other stuff… Hell look at Dressrosa and the strange abilties of some combatants?

Further more there is one thing I have catched...

the doc says... ON PAPER all 4 has got the modification... What if someone changed the paper on purpose?

Besides that good chapter enjoyed the little flashback of Sanji's Diable Jambe is starting to make sense.Hopefully the next chapter goes more into detail on there body capabilities.

i think Sanji is stronger than all of them because imo I would get more satisfaction from sanji beating them up instead of Luffy. But that is what Luffy is though. Someone that can do what his friends can't. However you are right. From this fight and all other info there is no certain terms on where Sanji is in strength comparably to his family.

Interestingly enough what I've read is that the cursed swords is what causes Ashura and Hakuba. Cavendish is also using a cursed sword like Zoro and Law even though we haven't seen Law use anything sprite based or possession
