Great chapter.
I'm sure G66 is simply trying to take down their underground rivals (Big Mom's crew) from the inside. Sanji must be some sort of wicked gift (speaking of those…), since Tamago told us that Big Mom "thinks highly of Sanji" : marrying him to one of her daughters is meant to distract her a little bit.
I find that to be really weird. Not that I know of Nami ever cooking or whatever, but she is undoubtely a more competent cook than all of the other people on the ship. Leaving the cooking to Luffy is like leaving the navigation to Zoro.
She can cook, Oda said it in a SBS.
And it's not just greediness, if that was the case Nami would at least have cooked for herself.

What a lovely little chapter. Here's my two cents:
-Neat colorspread, Sanji has some serious skills to be cooking in the middle of a rollercoaster ride. "Koala for nakama confirmed" :ninja:
-Luffy hadn't realized who his father was yet. It doesn't really surprise me XD ( or anybody else, for that matter ). With the crew starving and Luffy on the infiltration team, this is a recipe for disaster.
-Jack was obviously alive, but I didn't expect him to be a fishman. Kinda like Dellinger with his half-Fighting Fish blood or the wotan, I guess. He also looks pretty rad even without his mask on.
-I freaking love Kaido. What a savage drunkard, I can't picture the composed Drake working under this guy 
-It seems like Brook met Dragon at some point in the recent past, but he doesn't explain what exactly happened. It's the same thing with the Vinsmoke family. Spill the beans already, man!
-My favourite part of this chapter was seeing part of Big Mom's territory. Such a fairy-tale place, I fell in love with it instantaneously. Also, Tamago is one of my favourite characters ever, so watching him interacting with other characters is a big plus. It seems like he isn't a bit upset about Pekoms, but it isn't strange at all, with him being the seasoned businessman he is. Not soft-boiled at all.
-Vito appears again, sweet. I was hoping for Capone to have a line or two too, but oh well.
-Oh you Sanji you.

This chapter was kinda good. Seeing Kaido crying childishly was hilarious, not to mention that this chapter pretty much shows that Luffy is a super shitty cook! XD
Kidd probably bought Killer and his crew time to flee as he himself got beaten to a bloody pulp. Kidd seems like a guy that will do that, he bears a lot of resemblances to Luffy.

Oda's character designs are so crazy (in a good way) that we can't base ourselves in things like fangs to determine one's species. We actually saw Jack's teeth in the chapter his ship got wrecked and I guess no one thought he was a fishman back then.
The roll One Piece has been on the last months is unprecedented in manga, I cannot think of a single series that has ever this many great+ chapters in a row, and I have literally read 100+ days of manga. Kingdom had a lot of great++ chapters during the coalition war arc (Still possibly the best arc of any manga ever), but not this many.

I think its just an appearance quirk, or maybe he files them everyday. If he is a half fishman I expect him to have more distinct features like a fin or something.

magellan horns are just decoration..he can actually took them off
but that being said,it's not like his face is more human without them

I certainly did forget if that was the case. The only times I can remember them eating before Sanji joined were on various taverns.
So glad that Kaido is not a Madara or Yhwank, in one chapter he probably had more facial expressions than both of them combined too
Another thing I just remembered is that Luffy gave Tamago that Tamatebako box, which the Minister of the Right filled with explosives. I can only imagine it will finally get opened during this arc in glorious fashion. I could see Luffy either causing a ruckus because he is hungry or being on his best behavior and avoiding a war with a second Yonkou, only for the box to explode sending everything into chaos.

Back on Fishman Island when we learned how much Big Mom loved sweets I thought Sanji might be a major player in her arc due to his cooking. Then after the whole Vinsmoke revelation I put that aside but now though, Tamago is making it seem like, not only is Sanji there because of his father but because of his cooKing skills learned on the Baratie. How cool would it be if we got a Zeff flash back with Big Mom? After all it's hinted that maybe Zeff did make it to the new world.
So glad that Sanji's cooking is a point of interest to Big Mom. Now all I need now is for Chopper and his Rumble Balls to become relevant to Kaidou.

This was a great chapter. I missed the adventure aspect of One Piece, just travelling the oceans. The starvation chapter brings me back to the days of Zoro + Luffy, when they were starving and Luffy got stuck in a bird's mouth. No matter how strong you are, you need to eat!
It may have already been said, but obvious prediction:
(I am assuming the person saying we've been playing little pirate games was either Kidd, or Kaido was mocking Kidd, as Kidd looks pretty dejected.)
Kaido has broken Kidd's will. When Luffy shows up, and (a) beats Kaido or (b) Kidd realizes Luffy stands a chance, this will restore Kidd's will. If (b), then Kidd will come in for the assist. Afterwards, Kidd won't officially ally with Luffy, but will become "friendly" (scare quotes: Kidd won't get in Luffy's way, and will help when it is convenient or maybe even mildly inconvenient, but will maintain his general dickish attitude). After all is said and done, Kidd will say something like "I owe you; I'll pay you back by beating you to One Piece." Luffy will give a "Shishishishi," and they'll depart.
Definitely one of the best chapters in a while. Seeing Kidd beaten up like that, finally hearing about Sanji (and who he's going to marry!), the revelation that Jack is a fishman, even a bunch of comedic moments on the Sunny (it's been wayyy too long!). Wow, I cannot take in all of this.
What if Jack is Derringer's father? Oh his skin was supossed to be black if that was the case?

"Poor Joker, you just happened to be too weak". Loving the characterization for Kaido so far. Crazy and unstable in every aspect, but always keeps his "survival of the fittest" attitude. Plus the "who the hell do you think I am" is just like Jack. Was Jack always crazy, or was his tutored really well by Kaido?

His chef hat, him burning the kitchen, his horrible cooking, him commenting on his dad looking nothing alike and him using all the food supply.
Couldn't the strawhats catch some fishes to eat though?

It looks strange that Germa-66 wants to join BM's crew. Not create an alliance but join her crew. Why would they do that if they're already powerful army which has a large influence ?
This starvation for Luffy and the others will probably make them eat Whole Cake and enrage Big Mom. And after damaging her ship, plus the Tamatebotebamobox and Luffy's claim for Fishmen Island, i wonder if she will really come to an agreement to become an ally.
