I messaged it to you; also if you get on Discord this could probably go smoothly.
Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest

So, shall we revive the old google doc for xy? Friend codes and breeding projects, and discord ids I guess.
I'll prepare a list with the breedable families of sun and moon with available HAs so we can know and trade accordingly.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I'll do the HA hunting later, I'm at work.
-
Stufful/Turtonator/Komala/Drampa/Jangmo-o? Any of those or just whatever is fine. I've got yours ready now
I don't have any HA to give you back, but would love that Mareanie. Of this list, I have Stufful, Komala and tons of Drampas.
-
Just got to Poni Island. After that crushing defeat at the start of Ula'ula, I decided to turn on the Exp. Share until I'm a few levels ahead of the local trainers. Still have it on. I even have all my Pokémon on highest affection, so they get those bonus exp and it's still not enough to be able to turn the Exp Share off. The only thing that makes me sad about it is the fact that I hardly get to use my strongest Pokémon since they keep levelling ahead while I train my weaker ones.
I also changed my team a bit since I was kinda disappointed with Golisopod and Sandygast, also switched out Tsareena because I already had too many physical attackers for my taste.Current team:
[hide]
Kamui Lv 43
Fuyumi Lv 44
Ojiro Lv 44
Gang Orca Lv 45
Kaminari Lv 46 (wouldn't have expected it to be in its mid-evolution for so long)
Endeavor Lv 46[/hide] -
Just beat the main story.
Man, that was a tough bunch of fights. As someone who just didn't like using items way back when, I never thought I'd be relying on them so much. Well, being able to actually get stable money helps with that.As for the extent of the post game, I probably won't so far as completing the dex but I'll see what I can do.

I have Sun, friend code 4613-8100-4094, in-game ID Starfish. Owing to the fact that obtaining the Destiny Knot in this game is borderline impossible I have no serious breeding projects going at the moment but I do have some Timid Cutieflies with Sweet Veil.

You could click on the link and throw that info in the spreadsheet. Wondering now who was it that made the original one we had and where that is now…
As for the Cutieflies, I'd be interested in a female one. I have a bunch of Modest Cutieflies with Moonblast as an egg move and Shield Dust for its ability and don't really need Sweet Veil that much, but it'd be nice to have the option.

Just found out that some of the character clothing choices are restricted between games. So Moon gets all the purple and dark blue clothes, while Sun gets all the beige and yellows.
What's the point? You can't even trade clothing items or anything… All this does is keep me from getting purple pants for my Gary Oak costume.
-
Here's the list of Hidden Ability mons I've accumulated so far, in case anyone's interested:
vulpix, fletchling, geodude, mareanie, exeggcute, feebas, goomy, dratini, sandshrew, gible, poliwag, fomantis, eevee and rockruff. -

You can dye your clothes with berries in the festival plaza. The list on what does what is somewhere on this page:
http://www.serebii.net/sunmoon/festivalplaza.shtml It's still pretty limited, though.

My Ghost team is complete!!
"Link" - Decidueye [Lv. 43]
"Soul Sister" - Gengar [Lv. 41]

"Skully" - Marowak [Lv. 43]
"Queen's Castle" - Sandygast [Lv. 36]
"Freezer" - Snorunt [Lv. 28]Just need to evolve Sandygast into Palosand and Snorunt into Froslass once I'm sure it knows all the moves I want it to learn before Evolving.
I just entered "Jack Black as a Panda" Town, the one overrun by Team Skull and I'm in the big house at the back of it.

How do you get those in this game?
Not sure if Robo caught them himself, but SOS Pokemon can have their hidden abilities (and be shiny).

Aaaah, okay.
-
I'll do the HA hunting later, I'm at work.
Went ahead and added stuff to the HA page and made some formatting/title changes for ease of accessibility. Feel free to take a look and adjust if necessary.
Also quoting for visibility in a new page.
-
How do you get those in this game?
I traded for all of them. A lot of them are a huge pain to get ingame.
-
I traded for all of them. A lot of them are a huge pain to get ingame.
Well, someone had to work for them. :P
Also added my data to the sheet.
-
Work computer will let me see the spreadsheet but not edit it. Will add myself when I'm home.

vulpix, fletchling, geodude, mareanie, exeggcute, feebas, goomy, dratini, sandshrew, gible, poliwag, fomantis, eevee and rockruff.:o How could I get a Rockruff and a Sandshrew from you? You've already got both of what I have to offer.
-
I went through the pain of catching HA Vulpix and I pretty much don't want to ever do that again. But there's nothing wrong with sharing and trading with others who have gone through the trouble too.
-
how does a raichu not have anything to hit a salandit
Raichu is psychic type in this one!Sandile. The Ground Dark desert gator form Gen 5.
Also. If anyone wants a HA Jagmo-o, message me. After doing that once, I'm never ever doing that garbage again.
-
Has anyone managed to catch a HA Tauros?
-
The plan is that if everyone does one or two, and pass it along, then we can all breed and trade them to the brim.
There are around 130 families, and a few have useless HAs, so if you want you can chain one or two, and use them as currency.
Things like mareanie, abra, goomy and whatever has babies have kind of higher value, but when you can mass breed, I don't think that it would be a big deal.
-
I'm going for a HA Bagon… is Role Play really the only thing I can use to check ability?
-

I use a Pangoro with entrainment. Worry Seed also works.
-
King Kobra you have HA Geodudes? Damn I'll definitely take one of those at some point.
-
I believe the RoboBlue method has also simply been taking HA currently accessible and using them as currency to negotiate for obtaining others. Like you can always search in facebook groups and other sites.
Mention this because no one in their right mind will ever want to chain for things like Snow Warning Vanillish.
-
Wait, how do you use sweet scent, dig, teleport, et al?
Can you? I'm tired of swiming for a lapras.

Well, I got a moody Snorunt. The Vanillish would had the snow warning..
-
My mistake. Vanillish has Weak Armor HA, Snow Warning is just a secondary ability.
-
Quick question since google keywords keep mixing up results.
Can a Chansey that was SoSed in, SoS itself and call more Chansey? Seems like a decent way to get alot of exp, assuming they don't take down/doubledge themselves to death.
-
LAPRAS DONT EXIST EVEN THOUGH IM RIDDING ONE.
God damn it.
-
Good thing that when I wanted to get a Cutiefly, there was an easy way to test for whether they had their Hidden Ability or not: Use a sleep-inducing move. As Cutiefly's HA makes it so neither it nor its allies can fall asleep, so as soon as one with the HA showed up I immediately knew that I'd hit the mark. It actually took a lot less time than I thought it would, too. Only like 20 to 30 encounters.

I've gotten mixed results.
I tought that only the original mon could call for help, but in one battle I knocked the less evolved form, and the evolution keept calling them, so it might be by species. I think it was when I was looking for clefairy to save me from friendship evolution.
Chansey as they don't show up by themselves would break it under this rule, but can't say for certain, and the only easy ones to try this are like tauros and milktank and they have their weird link like volbeat and illumise, and the nidorans.
-
Only certain pokemon can call out: ones that can be found in the initial battle slot (the ones you run into in the wild). If they tag in something that can't be found in the wild in that area (evos, SOS only pokemon) then those will not call out. Otherwise, if you chain in anything that can be encountered in that area, they are free to continue the chain.
This is necessary when going for long chains, since the initial pokemon, if left alone for too long, will struggle itself to death.

Not sure if you saw, but I'd be interested in one of those Cutiefly.
As for ease, that was the nice thing about HA Vulpix. You'd know if it has it if it summoned Hail upon entering.
-
Ah okay. Was chaining Riolo for Lucario earlier today before work and got a mad number of experience solely from the Chansey that was constantly called in. Maybe they are there to make up for the low exp baby pokemon tend to give on their own.
-
LAPRAS DONT EXIST EVEN THOUGH IM RIDDING ONE.
God damn it.
it does, Charizard doesn't though even though you do ride one, same with Rotom even though you have one on your Dex.
You can capture Lapras by surfing on Poni Island(the last one).
-
I feel like I'm about to be mad underleveled for the Elite Four. This is the first time that the rival's entire team were higher levels than my entire team.
I started out with a Nuzlocke run but it then turned into a pseudo Nuzlocke where the only rules I laid are that I can't use Battle Items(X Attack, Dire Hit, etc), or Revives in battle. I also can never buy Revives or use the Pokemon Center to Revive. However, I abused the hand-holding in this game and let characters revive my Pokemon. So the only scary part comes at the Elite Four :P
My team is
Lv 52 Primarina
Lv 52 Magnezone
Lv 47 Honchkrow
Lv 46 Exeggutor
Lv 49 Toucannonand a Lv 44 Boldore that I'll give Eviolite too and hope that it doesn't get demolished
! I went into the game almost completely blind so I didn't know that there was an Ice/Fighting type that I've been craving for the longest time. It's repulsive and has underwhelming stats. Damn you GameFreak! Exeggutor made me laugh my ass off though.
-
it does, Charizard doesn't though even though you do ride one, same with Rotom even though you have one on your Dex.

You can also use honey to increase the encounter rate of rare pokemon. It's what I did to catch Oranguru and Beldum after being unable to find them normally.

I've done that.
For one hour.
A stupid prehistoric fish in that time.
But no lapras.

This is useful. I'm only Lapras and Vanillish away for getting all wild Pokes.
! (and technically Lucario, Dragonite and Politoed)

Unless I'm misunderstanding something this isn't true? At least with evos, they call for help all the time even if they're not catchable in that area (or any area). Actually I had a perfect case of that when I set out to find a Razor Claw. A Jangmo-o eventually called for a Hakamo-o, and then Hakamo-o kept summoning more of itself until one brought in a Kommo-o and I jacked its item. I've also had multiple cases of evos calling in the initial pokes (Slowbro calling a Slowpoke, Poliwhirl calling Poliwag, etc). I can't remember off the top of my head if a non-evo S.O.S. mon ever successfully called in help though.
-
:o How could I get a Rockruff and a Sandshrew from you? You've already got both of what I have to offer.
I'll just breed you some.
BTW, I'd really like it if Vegard Aune could breed her HA cutiefly for us. :) -
Everyone with HA stuff should be breeding for the horde! XD
So far I'm interested in Geodude and Fomantis. Well and Vuplix and Mareanie but I have those.

Beat Kiawe's trial. I was not ready for Hiker David. On the Pokemon front, after hearing all these horror stories of people struggling to find a female Salandit, Im glad I found and caught one very quickly, after only a single SOS call. Timid nature too, which seems like a decent one for it.
I really don't like the fishing mechanics for this game though. Only being able to fish at designated spots, okay, but more often than not my line comes up empty, to a far greater extent than in previous generations.
Current team:
Torracat (Lv. 20)
Wingull (Lv. 20)
Grimer (Lv. 19)
Magnemite (Lv. 20)
Fomantis (Lv. 20)
Mudbray (Lv. 21 - guess who did the heavy lifting in the Totem Salazzle fight) -
I'll just breed you some.
BTW, I'd really like it if Vegard Aune could breed her HA cutiefly for us. :)Sweet! I can get you a HA Bagon when I eventually get it. Working on it now.
Someone else asked me for a Mareanie I think? I have it, but I forgot who asked :X
-
And that makes trial #6.
! I kinda wish it was a little more explorative, but Ghost pokemon are already pretty spooky to deal with, so the atmosphere fits. The room with Mimikyu actually scared me.
! Battle itself was arrggh why does Play Rough hurt so much?! Without my own Mimikyu with Shadow Sneak, I dare say I would've wiped out. Then you get that extra creepiness when you're about to leave with Acerola, and you see it scurrying away into the grass. 3spooky5meI don't want to move on until Grimer and Slowpoke evolve, darn it. Team:
Decidueye
Snorlax
Lysanroc
Salazzle
Slowpoke
Vulpix
Grimer
Kangaskhan
Mimikyu -
Can this selfish asshole and his Stoutland kindly GTFO so that I can get to Hano Beach and get a Staryu and a Pyukumuku for the sidequest?
On the plus side, Stuffal with Fluffy get!
-
25 into my Bagon chain and I got a shiny! :D I guess the HA will just have to wait until later.
Edit: now I've got one. It'll be on the market soon!
