Chapter 791: "Rubble"
-
-
I think posting bleach chapters is against the rules here. This is a site for One Piece.
-
Well, I hoped that something else will happen in this chapter… Not just crying and cheering.
-
Next chapter: party And banquet…Zoro drinks with Fujitora And Nami takes a Bath with Rebecca. ..oh wait
-
Mingo side view looks like Zoro. And Issho showed his class. He's the only one that didn't fall down, knew the moment Birdcage was out.
-
I guess chapters like these are inevitable. Hopefully next week will have more stuff happening, although I like the reactions. Now, let the whining commence!
-
I love these arc conclusion chapters that Oda does. I know a lot of people will be saying "nothing happened," but we get one of these every major arc, just to let us take a breath and soak in everything that happened. I love that Oda isn't afraid to do chapters like this.

More or less sums up my thoughts. Though in fairness to One Piece, the pages have a load more detail in them artwise than any 5 Bleach chapters combined.
-
Nothing much happen in the chapter which is what i expected.
Some nice panels and a few more chapters before the arc ends . -
I like how literally everyone got a reaction shot except the one guy with the closest ties to Doflamingo who dedicated 13 years of his life to planning his defeat.
Well Oda's probably gonna do something with Waterloo next week.
-
Lol for a second I thought they screwed up when he said "Weiner.
-

This chapter was more about showcasing the reactions of the citizens of Dressrosa and the dwarves anyways.
Law needs a much bigger reaction than a panel, after all.

Crazy bold theory here: I think that's because he was tracking Doffy's body to make sure he doesn't lose it. I still think Law will kill Doflamingo.
-
I really liked this chapter. It was a very feel good chapter. Cathartic and like just let out one long release of nerves. I felt it. I honestly felt what Oda was going for.
-
Unsatisfied.
Once
Again.
But glad its over.
-
My only hope is we get some juicy details next chapter with Doflamingo's fate.
-
Next Chapter: Mansherry's teardelions fall on Doflamingo.
!
!Now the time Limit is on Doflamingo for 4 minutes.
-
Aftermath chapter is alwyas like this, isn't? Anyway, can you imagine when they animate this chapter. It will be the slowest pace episode ever (:3|
-
I guess the chapter was uneventful, but for a 90 chapter arc (!!) at least a chapter of relief was needed. I for one felt heart warmed seeing all those characters cry in joy (minus Rebecca, her crying mug is annoying).
-
OK a filler chapter… But damn Bartolomeo is so cool =(
Soon I have to leave him behind
PS
Sanji is baking a Mini Nami <3 -
Hey, I felt it too! Clincher is when Kyros cried. Very heartwarming.
-
great chapter. I really wanna eat the Robin/Chopper/Nami bread.
-

I can agree with that pretty easily. It took me 1/20th the time to read this One Piece chapter than it usually takes me to read one though.
-
Well, normally I would cry that nothing happened. But yeez, I'm not made of stone, this was almost tearjerking.
-
A short filler chapter with reactions and flashbacks. Nothing special IMO.
I honestly have nothing else to say about this for now. Hopefully the next chapter will be eventful.
-
Jesus this is going to make just the worst anime episode. I do appreciate the detail of Kyros holding in to his pride and not letting others see his tears.
Also, anyone else find it unusual that Doflamingo's mouth is closed? Oda almost always draws people knocked unconscious with their mouths agape.
-
It's not a bad chapter. It's a breather to all the events in the last few chapters.
-
This post is deleted!
-
Expected chapter, quite heartwarming seeing the joyful reactions.
@Uncanny:

Definitely. Out of all the Dressrossan characters, Kyros is the one I really sympathized with.
-
At least some reactions between main characters could have been added.
-
Could someone please tell me what constitutes a "filler chapter"
-

Please tell me you forgot to add a /s at the end of that post.
-
Why do chapters like these get instantly labeled as "filler " ? I wonder how different the reaction would be here if it was an full blown filler action scene ….............
-
Filler is the wrong word, transaction is what you are looking for. Typical transaction chapter.
-
Could someone please tell me what constitutes a "filler chapter"
Non-action / character moments / characters emotions = filler
While pointless action scene = full blown eventful chapters -

Don't say that…. what if next chapter is completely dedicated to Law's reaction now?
-
I wouldn't call it a filler chapter, this is a conclusion chapter that showcases the reactions of people that suffered during Dolflamingo's reign, people that realized the awful truth about their saviors from a so called mad king and the reaction of the people who rescued Dressrosa . I'm pretty happy to read this chapter.
It felt satisfying to see Dolflamingo's birdcage to fall down . Man, while Rebecca crying wasn't exciting , I was happy to see the reactions of Kyros and Riku . It's extra heartwarming because of their pasts on Dressrosa -
@Doffy.:

Yeah i was just wondering why i've never read anyone say: "I hope Oda doesn't waste too many panels on random hits this fight", instead a lot of the people i've read wanted this battle to last for 10 chapters of pure action lol.
-
The action junkies don't care about storytelling they want their stunts fix every week otherwise it's filler.
-
I hope we will get to see the reverie now.
-
At this rate Luffy will get to Raftel in 2030
-
Don't say that…. what if next chapter is completely dedicated to Law's reaction now?
You say it like it's a bad thing . Law had one of the biggest , if not the biggest motivation to see Doflamingo go down . Why shouldn't his reaction be long and not a single panel?
-
Don't say that…. what if next chapter is completely dedicated to Law's reaction now?
No Bellamy either, i think the next chapter will be about reactions too.
-

Although I have to make a case for Kyros having more interesting characterization.
-
People call it a filler chapter because nothing really happened. A chapter summary would go something like this. Doflamingo stayed down, the birdcage disappeared, and people cheered.
-
It's stupid to call this a filler chapter.
Though I could get into something called over-exposure to where you could almost make a case for it being a filler chapter, but only if you meant it that way.
The chapter was what it was. Mostly focused on catharsis. It's pretty sweet that Luffy is getting to lay on Rebecca's thighs with her crying on him. What a lady's man.
-

You can break down most chapters to that level .
The war arc full of chapters like that for eg . -
To be honest, seeing Plotcage go down was more than enough satisfaction for me this week. I'm glad there's light at the end of this seemingly never-ending tunnel.
Although, I think Rebecca snapped for a moment and thinks she has Mansherry's DF. I'm sure Luffy appreciates your appreciation lady but geez!
-

I am sorry that you think character focus chapters are filler simply because they don't have big summary and aren't filled with ground shaking story revelations .
-
All I needed in this chapter was there to be a ship near Dressrosa to hype me up for next week. This is one of those chapters where if you read it while catching up to chapter 900, you would be very grateful you didn't have to read this shit weekly.
