Chapter pages out of order lol.
Mangapanda messed up the order again
classic mangapanda ,
i will wait for some fix , this chapter must be awesome
The chapter pages are all out of sorts.
Still, leave it to Oda to take the most minor of characters and give them a big moment. Really good chapter.
waiting for that imgur fix…
A chapter about GATZ??????
Fucking Mangapanda, put the pages in the right order NOW!
Solid chapter.
I can't wait for next week!
thanks for posting, shambles :D
I am so goddamn tired of Sabo.
That Burgess face after jumping down from the palace though…awesome.
"Law trying to force Luffy and a Monkey to eat his bread for him"
I'm so done with Panda

That's true ,
btw , that new panel feel refreshing , no more jinbe cover stories
Thanks 毛唐人 ketou nin :D
Ugh, Mangapanda@RobZilla:
I am so goddamn tired of Sabo. That Burgess face after jumping down from the palace though…awesome.
Tired of him doing what? He's barely done anything.
Wow, so I avoid spoilers only to have the first page spoil stuff for me. How hard can it fucking be to put the pages in correct order!?
I gotta say, this is the kinda shit I'm a sucker for. Everyone coming together to aid the hero in his most desperate time. I eat this shit up. I'm really just a big sap at heart.
Even with thematic bias aside, I like the idea that everyone Doflamingo has wronged is going to get a chance to contribute to his defeat. I can just see it now, all these gladiators, Don Chinjao and CO (who all claimed they'd take down Doffy), even the citizens–they're all going to throw themselves in front of Doflamingo to buy Luffy time. And it's going to be great.
Next week should resolve Sabo and Burgess (which, to be fair, we've needed a resolution to this fight since the tournament), the week after will be the People vs Doflamingo, and the week after we'll get the true knockout blow. So yeah, my official prediction is 789 will end with Doffy's glasses being removed from his face.

Why… ?

What has he done to make you tired of him? he hasn't been doing that much.

Generally appearing out of nowhere and saving the day/ruining Burgess' plans/generally being untouchable if you're not an admiral.
Nice!
I'll read it later and give my thoughts then.

gonna beat a dead horse one final time, then I'll let it go. But this cover page did something that Jinbe's entire cover story didn't. Law hates bread and is fighting to avoid eating it. It's a personal and distinct attribute that's unique to Law that's being highlighted in an amusing way. Even if in the grand scheme of things it means nothing, it's just an expansion of something we learned previously about Law. And that was all I wanted from Jinbe's cover story and didn't think I got that.
Generally appearing out of nowhere and saving the day/ruining Burgess' plans/ generally being untouchable if you're not an admiral.
Koala told him to come to her because of Burgess, he didn't appear out of nowhere.
Did you think he died when he was clearly alive before he appeared in Dressrosa?
This is the right order but not the english one
Meadows!!!!!!!!!!!
Jinbe cover story rant aside, I did really like the cover picture.
And I'm really digging Luffy can only bounce/geppou in this mode. It really gives the power up a humorous but unique flavor to it even though there's other aspects to it. And I was expecting Luffy to have a better grasp of the power up, but am also glad/okay with the 10 minute trade off.
Just start at 6 then go back to 2

Really hard to argue that he came out of nowhere this time considering how long ago Koala alerted Sabo to Burgess' presence.
Also, he was equal to Ace when they were kids, so it's safe to assume, considering who he was essentially raised by, that before the time skip he was still equal to Ace, who was already able to fight Akainu if not evenly, then well, and, thusly, it's not a reach that he, Sabo the Revolutionary Chief of Staff, would be pretty fracking powerful. Even with all that though, we still learned that Fujitora was still not even giving it his all during the fight and merely wanted to stall, so he could place his bet on Straw Hat without being 100% blatant about it.
Sabo being this strong will only become an issue if he remains a constant presence in the series, much like it would have been if Ace had hung around. But, once again, like with Ace, I doubt that will happen.
I don't get how they seriously manage to ruin the order of the pages. Curse words.
That's weird. Why would Blackbeard need a piece of shit DF like Gomu Gomu no mi? I thought that the fruit is crap and that Luffy is just making it work through his talent as a fighter. Just look at all of his gears, regardless of their power they're self-damaging techniques.
Generally appearing out of nowhere and saving the day/ruining Burgess' plans/generally being untouchable if you're not an admiral.
Of course he going to be untouchable he might be the second strongest person on the island right now.
He high up in the revs , also we know he was going to save luffy as soon as he got that call.
Well in one piece 10 mins equals two chapters
Well this chapter proved wrong anyone that thought Doffy Amingo was defeated, let's hope that next week people complaining about Sabo and Burgess will be wronged as well (i mean EVERYONE is hoping for Burgess to stomp him at this point).
Had Luffy just been a few seconds faster at doing that attack the outcome would have been totally different.
But this is much more exciting. I've been waiting a long time for Burgess vs Sabo, and it's nice to see everyone doing their thing for Luffy to succeed. Just like Marineford.
It was an okay chapter, but the thing with Luffy's haki is pathetic. You need to regenerate haki? Do you have an exact number which could run out after some uses? Really, Oda?

one, burgess wanted it. or wanted for his crewmates
two, he just saw what luffy did.
three, two birds one stone by killing off a future rival to BB
Burgess fanboys are going to be shedding tears, "BB commander" they said "EoS enemy for SH" they said "strong as Sabo" they said. Sabo is in another league and could take out the main boss of this arc if he had to. Enjoy watching the wannabe champ get his butt handed to him officially next chapter.
Doflamingo is going to be the disgraced king of Dressrosa, his usual walk of arrogance will become a long walk of shame as all the people he manipulated and treated like crap will jeer him and mock him, he'll still have his stupid grin on his face but after he ploughs through his enemies and finally reaches Luffy Luffy will probably have Gear fourth back up and running. I hope it's not gear fourth though, I want to see a red hawk gatling bury Doffy once and for all. We need the iconic scene of Doffy on his knees, kneeling to Luffy the true king. Also, the mandatory smashing of his sunglasses as that happens. Luffy looks like he's dying from exhaustion.
If Burgess is that desperate for a fruit why doesn't he just take Bellamy's the guy is practically laying there dead he could do it more justice than Bel-lame-y.
It was an okay chapter, but the thing with Luffy's haki is pathetic. You need to regenerate haki? Do you have an exact number which could run out after some uses?
What do you mean, I don't see anything wrong with haki having it's own limits. Weren't we already hinted that this will happen during previous chapters, when Law and Doflamingo noted on how Luffy is using too much haki and won't last? It's the logical outcome.
However I agree that it's kinda convenient that Luffy need 10 minutes to get his haki back in shape.
Well this chapter proved wrong anyone that thought Doffy Amingo was defeated, let's hope that next week people complaining about Sabo and Burgess will be wronged as well (i mean EVERYONE is hoping for Burgess to stomp him at this point).
Really? I was thinking most people are thinking the opposite, I am atleast, no stomping but if the fight has a conclusion I think Sabo beats him.
Generally appearing out of nowhere and saving the day/ruining Burgess' plans/generally being untouchable if you're not an admiral.
He only appeared out of nowhere on his first appearance. He was forshadowed to appear in front of Fujitora and Burgess. Koala told him to come to the palace several chapters ago. She also informed him of what Burgess was about to do when he jumped down from the palace. Ruining Burgess's plans isn't a goal of his. To win the Mera Mera fruit, he had to beat him to the punch to begin with. They were in a competition. Now, all he's doing is protecting his little brother. Aside from Fujitora, who has he fought besides the fodder Diamante and Burgess, who he hadn't even had a serious battle with and who he just kicked off guard? He's the 2nd in command of the revos who can fend off an admiral. It's be awful if a scrub like Diamante and a henchman like Burgess could seriously injure him.
Posted this in the spoiler thread but I'll post it here too.
It's interesting that Burgess wants to go specifically for Luffy and his fruit. An awakened Gomu Gomu no Mi is probably pretty useful against the Gura Gura no Mi. Or maybe Burgess just really wants to embrace that whole luchador thing he's got going and turn the world into his wrestling ring.
Chapter is definitely good because of Burgess jumping down from the castle like a little kid having a great time, and obviously because of Gatz bringing Meadows and co. back.
I think visually it was a pretty good moment when Luffy ran out of juice and crashed against the wall, and how it seems like he can't even control his body's ruberness/sturdyness (his arm seems to unvoluntarily bend just by trying to stand up from the floor). Doffy standing back up was pretty cool too.
And I can't even get mad at Sabo anymore, this time it was foreshadowed so much I was expecting it. . .what I hope is Burgess at least putting up some sort of fight. I hoped Koala would at least give a kick or two in, but evidently Oda has no intentions to make her fight for now.
It seems the fight will end with another Gear 4 moment, which I can't say I'm too happy about. I hoped Luffy and Doffy would end this in a mano a mano, Z movie style, pummeling each other, but it seems we won't have that.
Chapter felt definitelt short, though.
Really? I was thinking most people are thinking the opposite, I am atleast, no stomping but if the fight has a conclusion I think Sabo beats him.
Yeah, I don't think anyone is hoping for Burgess to stomp Sabo. I mean, if that happens, that just draws this arc out more.
It was an okay chapter, but the thing with Luffy's haki is pathetic. You need to regenerate haki? Do you have an exact number which could run out after some uses? Really, Oda?
Really? You're complaining that Oda placed a usage level for haki, especially in the extreme way Luffy is using it? So you don't like drawbacks you like unlimited spamming of an ability huh? It's more comparable to stamina than to a numerical value.
It's be awful if a scrub like Diamante and a henchman like Burgess could seriously injure him.
BB is a yonkou and Burgess is a commander of his. We don't enough to say that Burgess can't harm him but I am leaning to the side that Sabo is stronger than Burgess especially after their class of haki and no sabo's DF powerup.

I think it's a perfect draw back b/c with his growth in the future w/ haki, he'll be able to use it longer and longer.
So the question is if the "devil fruit stealing technique" the Blackbeard pirates are using is related to having a suitable fruit nearby the powers transfer to, or if it somehow related to Blackbeard's gravity devil fruit?
Personally I believe it's non-devil fruits Burgess is carrying in his back. Just like what happened with Shinokuni and likely also Ace's devil fruit (and maybe Whitebeard's too).
So devil fruits and haki have time limits lol..I'm making a logical conclusion that ancient weapons, seastone, and sword durability are next in line for plot treatments
About haki and number of uses: I thought the original concept was that you have to concentrate to use haki, and it connected to you willpower. Like in Marinefold when WB tried to save Ace, but he coudn't because of his illness prevented him to focus his CoC. I was glad because it wasn't the same old concept "I can use it 10 times or 100 times" or "I have a reserve of 10000 units of ki, energy, chakra, ect."
Maybe Burgess just wants it for himself
That would be interesting. Heh, makes me smile when I imagine Burgess practicing a basic gomu gomu no pistol attack with results like chibi Luffy had and getting frusturated to death over it. :D
one, burgess wanted it. or wanted for his crewmates

Yeah, makes sense.
Koala told him to come to her because of Burgess, he didn't appear out of nowhere.
Regardless of Koala telling him, he still arrived out of nowhere at the last second to save Luffy.
As in he was nowhere to be seen and then suddenly appeared.
Did you think he died when he was clearly alive before he appeared in Dressrosa?
No, but he didn't necessarily have to appear in Dressrosa, did he?
