Whitebeard didn't accept Crocodile as his son because at the time he wasn't taking daughters :ninja:

I am not gonna go through the entire thread for this.
When is the next chapter coming? It's soon gonna be three weeks since the last one.

When is the next chapter coming? It's soon gonna be three weeks since the last one.
Later this week (probably January 15th).
-
Awesome, looking forward to it even if it is short. I predict 15 pages.
-
I wonder if Jinbe ever told Luffy that Crocodile saved his lifeβ¦
-
Is it just me or Enel will come back as a totally different character once he descends to the Blue Sea, I mean he has a bunch of robot followers (They're Robots, right?) and he have found a ruin that is full of history about the Skylanders and might change his mind about a lot of things, but that's just me.
People just think of Enel's come back as the guy who will be unstoppable by many rather than what he brings to the table.
Enel is interesting as out of all the antagonists Luffy faced he got exactly what he wanted, apart from destroying stuff.
He'd need a compelling reason to come back to Earth. Does anybody else expect the other set of robots he faced to be related to Vegapunk?
He's powerful but didn't seem that skilled a fighter so Luffy would take him pretty easily now. Not to mention all the kairoseki and haki users around. -
Enel actually feels like the kind of character who will reveal some new info and then end up getting defeated in order to hype up a bigger threat.

I would LOVE to see Enel be an Admiral. That is one villain who NEEDS to come back lol
He'll be back in the story when the Straw hats go to the moon.

Robin's history would put her on a radar for anyone else searching for them. Is there anything to suggest anybody would know she'd found it? Conversely if a poneglyph was on the moon Robin's quest has been screwed from the start!
Whenever a theory like this appears I mentally add another 6 months to how long OP has to go for. Not that I want it to end. :) -

It certainly does, but I don't think many people really care about that sort of thing, they seems to be power hungry and history won't really give them that sort power unless an ancient weapon is involved in which I don't see this sort thing being well known. I do wanna know how Crocoboy managed to get his hands on that knowledge though.

Whenever a theory like this appears I mentally add another 6 months to how long OP has to go for. Not that I want it to end. :)Ahh yeah, all that history up there has to come down some day and whose better to bring it down than Enel himself.
I don't really think about how long One Piece will last, I just ride along till the end of the series.

So today along morning coffe I remembered that Mingo was pissed and looking at Teach during Warlord meeting before Whitebeard War and now we know why Mingo was angry/ irritated and he was not eating anything.
He was sitting with a "D" at one table(even as I think that Teach might not be a real "D" or he might be from mix up of two bloodlines- D and Donouxiote maybe(I know its a strech but at same time BB looks like old Donouxiote family member that enslaved Tonatas long time ago). -

I have the page before me and he looks like he is having a good time.

How about the Barrier fruit though? We now see that it can form curved structures too instead of the flat screens we saw in the Colosseum battles. Seriously though, it's getting to that OP stage, cause all he has to do is create a barrier around an opponent. Could they get out?
What we still don't know about his power is if he can hold the barrier indefinitely. We also don't know if these barriers are even breakable, and if they are, can he can 'condense' the barrier at the cost of surface area to strengthen it?
Love this fruit.
-
Actually we can pretty much safely assume that with sufficient power you punch through the barrier. Same as its always the case. Sufficient power speed + haki and its done
-
Do we really know that though?
The freaking king's punch didn't put the slightest dent in barto's barriers.
I doubt they can be overcome with brute strength.
-
I'm pretty sure barto's barrier is absolute. As said above, the King's punch didn't even leave a scratch, I'm not sure why you would assume it can be brute forced O_o I think it could take whitebeard's hits, no problem.

I would love to see Enel humiliating an Admiral.
-Yata no Kagami- appears behind Enel with the leg centimeters away of his head "youuu aarreee soooo sslooow".
Enel teleports behind him -CoA on Trident- "No one is faster than God, yellow monkey" Thrust!
Enel actually feels like the kind of character who will reveal some new info and then end up getting defeated in order to hype up a bigger threat.
I can see an Enel Vs Teach coming. I would love Teach being the only human who enters into Black Hole Dimension and going out perfect which at great scale can be really terrifying, even more if he can open gates in many places to teleport himself or earthquakes.

Your fascination with Enel is distorting your view of his actual strength. Enel would get stomped in a fight against both Kizaru and Teachβ¦....

Nah, I'd rather Enel stay where he is. We don't need more top tiers for Luffy to surpass; One Piece is too full of them.

Agreed. Admirals are top tiers, not Ace level fighters.

A comeback of my favourite Villain? HELL YES!
The fight Enel vs any Admiral has to happen.

Smoker got stronger, and he still got beaten up by 3 different characters.

I hope the next chapter comes earlier this week.

Lol, even Luffy managed to be too fast for Enel pre-timeskip. Kizaru would give him the Supernova treatment.
Not to start anything, but is funny to read this type of comment without any basis to back it up or without knowing what this certain character has been doing during his absent time or If this character has acknowledge that there are strong people out there too after his defeat. Saying that Kizaru is faster than him doesn't help the case either since Observation + speed can counter him as seen by Rayleigh's fight, armament is included of course.

Where would Enel have learned CoA? Luffy needed 2 years, a powerful teacher and an island filled with strong beasts to be able to have reasonably good Haki, and he's not yet on the level of an Admiral.
Fujitora himself was having little difficulty against Sabo, a Logia with access to Haki. And Fujitora's not even a Logia!
And in the end, Enel fits perfectly the description Pekoms gave about Logias who are too confident for their own good. He still considers himself a God even after losing badly, so he's not any less humble than before.

Is Smoker a god?! Dont compare a filthy low life to the great Enel! Lol

Where did Enel learn Observation?

Didn't I just mention about the guy acknowledging that there are strong people out there though, this scenario can be played just like Bellamy's who didn't know better and then had an awakening call and lets not forget that he is currently in a ruin full history that can very well shape the way he has been going about things.
Really, you have no basis to backup your so called 'He'll hype up' somebody else besides him coming back someday.
-
Really, you have no basis to backup your so called 'He'll hype up' somebody else besides him coming back someday.
Didn't I say it was just a feeling?
But if you want a basis for this feeling, Fujitora didn't seem to have any trouble against Sabo, 2nd-in-Command of the Revolutionaries who's a Logia with access to Haki. Smoker, another Logia with access to Haki and who got stronger during the timeskip, was defeated by 3 different people who weren't even Admirals.
Enel's time as a major villain is past over as he already had his own arc and Luffy has already surpassed him, so don't expect him to be stronger than Luffy when he returns.

Where did Enel learn Observation?
He could've been born with it?
-
Didn't I say it was just a feeling?
Nope, I never saw such line in the comment I quoted, but what I did saw was somebody super sure of what was going to happen to Enel once he gets back.

Aaaand that's your basis, this character didn't have any problem with this character, so that character won't do anything against this character. Slow claps

yeah, the priests were born with it too, right?

You see that's the small problem I have with haki. Imo it seems like something Oda came up with later as he was writing One Piece. I could be wrong of course, but looking back how can someone like Croc not have it? Enel seems like another example. He was most likely fought too early in the series. Same thing with CP9. How are you going to have an assassination group but none know haki?! Oda mentioned that mantra was some form of haki. So those guys in the sky can have it but not Croc?! Which also means that Enel can train in the other forms of haki since he might know about them. I still love haki tho.

Uh, it has nothing to do with the characters themselves, but the whole idea behind it.
You have several Logias who, even with access to Haki, still struggle because there are even stronger characters out there. Enel won't return and suddenly be at the level where he can fight with Admirals. Not even Luffy, who trained like hell for 2 years, is at that level yet. Smoker too, trained a lot and got promoted to VA, but he's still not at the level of other top guys.
Enel already had his time at the limelight, so I wouldn't be surprised if Oda makes Enel fall for a new, bigger threat. This is common practice in manga and comics. Dragon Ball did this to ridiculous levels, for example.
-
I have the page before me and he looks like he is having a good time.
Difference in seeing veins on their forheadys and one looking at another smiling but hostile- for me.
I think that Mingo wasnt happiest guy on planet sitting next to somebody who is a D.Fun fact: Light travels roughly fifty times the speed of lightning.

Lightening travles 50 000 times faster than magma ( just a joke~! )

To be honest, it's not THAT weird that Croc doesn't know haki.
It's a pretty specialist thing that you seem to need to have an experienced mentor to help you master.
Croc took on the NW, had some bad experiences and then seemed to spend the majority of his career in paradise, where Haki is nowhere near as prevalent.
In terms of Enel knowing Mantra (CoO), that also isn't that strange.
The Kuja innovated Haki, it's not like they themselves are outstanding fighters in the grand scheme of things. A small rural community with an emphasis on the more spiritual side of things develop techniques that are essentially an application of a greater perception of their own spirit. This idea also fits with Enel's birthplace, Birka. So yeah, not so strange.
To be honest, the biggest gap in terms of someone not using CoA when they should have been able to, was Ace against Smoker in Alabasta. Being a fairly experienced New World pirate at that point, in a crew full of Haki users.
-

Besides, he enjoyed Teach's performance at Marineford more than anyone else. -

If you note, I haven't claimed that he will be fighting an admiral or somebody for that matter, and the guy was already worth 500M (Not official) before the time skip, it just baffles me to see the type of comment that you made as If it was fact and on top of it you compare how other people have fared with X character to back up your claims, but is all good since it is a strong feeling that you have.

Yes, it is common practice, but it doesn't mean nor guarantee that this will happen to him.
-
yeah, the priests were born with it too, right?
The fact that they had only CoO (with even a different name for it) with no CoA in sight seems to imply that Mantra is a standalone thing.
It probably involves a different type of training.
-
A Doffy with the tongue out is a happy Doffy
Besides, he enjoyed Teach's performance at Marineford more than anyone else.Doffy with a tongue was quite pissed Doffy many times! Oh you RamistaR you why you dont agree with meeeeee~
whyyyyy~whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??? -
And CP9, the WG's top assassination squad who's supposed to act internationally.
I don't find that that weird either tbh.
CP9 obviously have a emphasis on Rokushiki, which is a great skill set for assassinations.
Even at that, Lucci's really advanced usage of Rokushiki seemed to be able to bypass Luffy's blunt defence as a rubber man, so there might actually be some elements of Haki in there.
-
Doffy with a tongue was quite pissed Doffy many times! Oh you RamistaR you why you dont agree with meeeeee~
whyyyyy~whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy???Eh! I'm sure I already agreed for other stuff, like the Machwise theory.
Any other instances of Doffy being pissed and sticking his tongue out ?
Yes I'm asking on the internet for pics of tongues. -

You're not saying anything really, they found out about Observation, nothing is stopping them from finding out about Armament nor Conqueror for that matter, as long as you're alive you have the possibility of finding out one of them.
-
Enel actually feels like the kind of character who will reveal some new info and then end up getting defeated in order to hype up a bigger threat.
I have to disagree with thisβ¦
I see Enel as another great power who will come to the blue sea shocking everyone as he shakes the balance of the great powers... Enel now has a robot army who has unlimited power as long as Enel keeps recharging them.
Enel could even probably turn the WG pacifista against them, just need a little but electric charge here and there.
-
Eh! I'm sure I already agreed for other stuff, like the Machwise theory.
Any other instances of Doffy being pissed and sticking his tongue out ?But why this time~
whyyyyy~???Damn you for taking my post seriously Now I have to search for page~~s !
I want new chapter already⦠Today I hade impression that Sengokus shockwave was Rokougun-like technique done with one hand and not part of his devil fruit powers and some other thoughts that came out of getting back to some old pages..
I am seriously worried how my life will be when One Piece will end. Like really end for good. Scary Scary..
-
Enel could even probably turn the WG pacifista against them, just need a little but electric charge here and there.
He could probably overload them and make them explode in some cases, but no amount of electricity could reprogram them.

This one piece manga where normal people can move faster than sound, so that's irrelevant.

That's true, I forgot about the Ace thing as well

I doubt we're going to see Enel again
