It was just online co-op. You and another player go through the level together like you would solo, but I always enjoyed competing with my friends on who could rack up more KO's.

Magellan is still in the game as a boss character, (no way they completely cut out Impel Down) he just won't be playable in other log. Story starts at Alabasta.

- Dressrosa: Trébol, Diamante, Pica, Lao G, Gladius, Señor Pink, Machvise, Bellamy, Jesus Burgess.
- Zou/WCI: Inuarashi, Nekomamushi, Pekoms, Baron Tamago, Perospero, Oven, Daifuku, Cracker, Capone Bege, Big Mom.
- Wano: Eustass Kid, Killer, X Drake, Jack, Kaido.
BUT… This is not going to happen...
If only DLC characters were added... hell, I want Kaido, Jack, Killer, Vergo and Baron Tamago so bad
But I'm afraid that Kaido's moveset will be a mess/shit and generic as fuck... like him in base form hitting randomly with his kanabo, meh. I hate these movesets of only hit with some weapon and that's all so I preffer Kaido giving punches and kicks with acrobatics moves like when he returns to his human form in Luffy vs Kaido dragon form.

Magellan being cut was always pure especulation by whomever posted the interview, or at least the main take-aways from the interview, online.
No official source ever mentioned Magellan, they simply said some characters will be left out. People jumping into Magellan's back, a main boss from an arc, instantly instead of characters like Garp is a weird phenomenon to me.In real news, this lastest interview just confirmed Marco is playable and with a nice aerial moveset despite the fact that we haven't seen him in any of the trailers or images released.

I just hope they give us DLC characters option to give us new characters and the support ones from PW 3 besides new canon costumes (CP0 Lucci, Fleet Admiral Akainu, Wano outfits, new Buggy costume…).

I'm betting on the gigantic characters being cut as they seem ill-suited for aerial combat. People like Moria, Kuma and Magellan.
Katakuri already looks super wonky when he goes into the air for comboing. Magellan is actually shorter than him, but has worse proportions.

Wasn't anyone thinking of this idea before implementing? If they wanted more moves, then they should have added the Rush moves from Samurai Warriors, or something.

They really put some effort on AkaInu's magma, it looks much better now.
Kinda weird that Kizaru is a Sky character, instead of a Speed one. But again most of his combos ended up in the air so that's that.
AoKije's ice effect looks better IMO.
Glad they made Marineford into a darker battlezone, it's the Summit War after all.

I wouldn't mind a young Whitebeard as DLC either. Moveset would be the same I reckon but he'd look smashing.
Speaking of smashing- the admirals images above are broken so can anyone confirm if Sakazuki's got his post-TS outfit or if it's the pre-TS one? Thanks.

Im just happy she is using napoleon and riding and wearing Zeus and Prometheus, her moveset looked very underwhelming in the boss fight.
