Great chapter this week!
Some things bothering me though:
-How can a clone of strings look like flesh, that’s sounds weird I’m really looking for an explanation
-Why the marines can’t reach HQ? really can’t think of a rational explanation of this, specially that Den Den mushis in Dresrosa are working (Doffy's speking through it)
-Robin’s meeting with the revolutionaries seemed to be rushed to me, I would’ve liked more details of the revolutionnnaries in this encounter, but anyway I am not shocked she didn’t tell luffy about Sabo, she probably had a good reason for this.Well apart from that it was amazing, Dofla is a monter, I’m seriously considering to make him in top of my favourites villains List even before Enel, in one chapter, he managed to reverse the situation, he was against SHs, former toys, revos, marine,riku family, and now it’s totally the opposite each one will fight for his own sake, I like this one piece hunger games it sounds like the survival game of skypiea as some people here said.
I really can’t wait to see sabo and Jesus rematch as it might happen now, Robin also might have her fight maybe helped by Koala, and I’m still hoping law will participate to the final rush of this arc.
Ps: After Robin’s and Sabo’s weeding, they will raise a bunch of revolutionary children, destroy the WG, take over the world and make of happy uncle luffy the pirate king, end of the story.

and if you look at the part where the factory is rising you can see the shadows of trebol and diamante standing on the door.

I feel that maybe the tone could have been tuned up a little bit by Doflamingo. Not sure if the translation suggested a less intimidating way but the whole "kill the guy i name" game would have been better if he had given an impression that if you don't do it then I'll fuck everyone in the island. People temporarily mask their moral values when they are forced into a desperate situation when something so dear to them (e.g. life) is under threat and proceed with any means of violence necessary.

Bastille is not affected at all by parasite. I believe that for Mingo to control somebody as strong as veteran Vice Admiral he must use a lot of attention to control that individual. Sure we seen Mingo control one VA at Holy Land but it was only one person at the time.

Also, the only person still alive of any potential that might go after that bounty is Burgess. And maybe Hakuba. Also, he says he is going to "reward" them. Aha. If someone is stupid enough to go after it, they deserve to be horribly killed.

Which of course was the only logical way it could turn out, after Doffy adressed the king personally.
Other than that i do wonder why Doffy just doesn't have Pica rockslide people right into the string cage. Slice 'em and dice 'em rock style

Haha! Pretty awesome chapter guys…....!! Reminds me of Enel on Ark Maxim using lightning to attack Skypiea!! Seems like the climax is in sight!!
Makes me wonder whether we'll see TS and crew in the next chapters..........
I imagine Luffy, Zoro and Sabo will go after Pica & Doflamingo and Kyros and Franky will go for Trebol & Diamante..........
Talking of those 2.......are they also up in the air, since they are in the factory with the Tontatta slaves.....

Ps: I bet, Sabo cried and asked Dragon to teach him even more crazier techniques after Ace's death. -
I think fujitora will just intervene now?
I don't know if anyone has thought about it, but If fujitora was to go the palace alone, I don't think he's gonna come out victorious? Dofla + pica + baby 5 + gladius + buffalo?
Even if some of them are fodder, ganging up always works, plus it seems pica is way above the other 3 executives?

He blocks the Jet Gatling, and hits Luffy dead on with a string attack and a fistful of haki.
Great stuff, adds even more credit to Doflamingo's threat level. -
Doffy is two Spiderman level. Right now he looks way more dangerous than Fujitora.

About the Den-Den-Mushi issue… I don't think it's related to the birgcage per se. Instead I think it's some kind of interfering transmitter activated by one of the DD crew as soon as he/she realized that Sugar got unconscious.

My theory towards Doflamingo having some sort of string Logia or clone. Its ability in a way makes it look like a Logia. Creating an unharmable self. As in Doflamingo himself won't get injured.
My personal favourite, i called it. Baby 5 and crew did NOT know about Doflamingos power.
Doflamingo keeps secrets even towards his own crew. I knew it, was called as not possible but it's been confirmed.

@vagabond87:I think that Birdcage is Doflamingos top technique with his string string fruit that will cut off entire island from contact with world and nobody would be able to escape without KOing Doflamingo.
Name "Birdcage" would make most sense then and it would also mean that Doflamingo wants to try and set things to as they were dealing with everybody on the island after making it impossible for them to escape.
Law might be shocked because he already seen this. Translation is pretty bad so we have to wait for mangastream relase..Doffy is two Spiderman level. Right now he looks way more dangerous than Fujitora.

Also, I really want to see some absolute justice in Fujitora. Let him murder Doflamingo. He can fly around him and bombard him with meteors, he is actually best suited to get to him quickly. It all makes perfect sense right now.

I second that.
It was not even exchange yet between Luffy and Mingo. One punch to Luffys face will simply make one that lands soon enough on Doflamingos face all more satisfying. That punch was kind of wake up call for Luffy that if he fights Mingo again he must give his all from the start.Beside that one cut that Law gave Doflamingo, Joker is almost like Cell of this manga when it comes to fighting. If Luffy will fing method to counter attack from Mingo that trapped Sanji and even Jozu then we are up for an awesome raw fight between Luffy and Mingo at end. I would say that maybe its possible to get yourself free from that string trap by CoA + Gear Third on body, so it would make strings loose enough after getting back to small body size to escape Mingos immobilizing.
Dont jump into conclusions so fast Flipper Pride, sure chap was exciting in ways but compare that fight to Sanji vs Mingo for example. It might give you better perspective on this one:happy:

You're taking the word "lose" a bit extreme. Let me change it for you. Luffy would not be able to damage Doflamingo, and Doflamingo is the one on top of him with the upperhand.
Luffy certainly didnt win. They weren't portrayed as equals. Luffy got kicked out. He lost. Regardless of whether he is injured or not.
I mean, he nearly beheaded Luffy as well.

I love the reset. It looks like some of the one-on-one battles we've been worried were going to take place nearly off-screen are now going to be front and centre again. (Robin & Koala v. Diamante, Sabo v. Trebol anyone?)
So looks like we'll be seeing characters like Cavendish and Barto have moments to shine either taking up Dofla's offer or parasited into opposition. Not to mention any unknown bigshot released from Sugar's memoryhole.
I wonder how long a list Dofla will release? Will the tontata be on it?This format is like the tournament but opened right up. I was worried that it would immediately turn into a countdown-threat, like Noah falling on FI or Shinakuni on PH. They're not really my favourite part of One Piece storytelling, though when the countdown starts we do start getting flashback answers.

Or it would be shocker if Fujitora would use CoC on everybody on island thus hyping him up- it would be amazing thing to see I think. If his haki would knock out people on bigger area than Luffys did on Fishman Island, Fujitora would be hinted at being presumably stronger in CoC than Luffy at same occasion. Maybe it would make Darth post less
I would forgive everything wrong with this arc so far if this happens. Really.

punk hazard,the chains of the other devil fruit users were made of seastone and he cut them with his power,since ha doesn't cut using strenght,so it doens't matter how hard something is for him
