I'm hoping for a long drawn out fight with Doflamingo that takes about 10 chapters like with Rob Lucci.

Thankfully One Piece isn't on break this week or we might see the mods bring out the BANHAMMER!

It took 5 Shichibukai and the entire marines organization, with admirals, garp, sengoku, vice admirals, with a home field advantage and tons of synchronized plans to take on one Yonkou
I doubt don's navy can match that, they're gonna need a lot more back up than just the Happo Navy, which had never even been mentioned until now so I assume it's no where near the strength of the fleet they amased to fight white beard
so my assumption is the reason Oda had all these nobody fodder people set up, was because he planned on having them ally with the straw hats, seeing as how they all seem to have some sort of group they work with
Straw hats, heart pirates, a group of samurai, Happo navy, Dreossa, Prodence kingdom, Elbaf pirates, Yonta Maria grand fleet and Majiatsuka kingdom with a few miscellaneous others like Bartololmeo, Cavendish. all fighting one Yonko would probably be a good start
I still say I would love to see a bunch of these guys join the straw hats on there trip to wano
I'd even watch a filler arc if I knew the ship was gonna be that jam packed with hilarious characters

On the other hand, here's an actual contribution: if you think the thread has been beaten to death, and there's nothing worthwhile to say to the point that people say "spoilerz plz" or "omg culd usopp solo arlong now? ya i bet he culd" or "I AM A MOD AND YOUR POST VIOLATES THE TOS SO STOP IT OR YOU WILL BE BANNED", it's time to lock the thread. That's something that doesn't really seem to happen around these parts until way-too-extreme circumstances by which point dozens of posts have been deleted. Not that I've been a frequent visitor in the past few months, but when the mods are contributing to thread derail because there is genuinely nothing else to stay on topic, it's pretty clearly time to lock the thread. You don't need to wait until multiple people have been banned before you decide a thread has expired.

Who the hell am I to decide that people have nothing left to contribute? If we went off my personal, curmudgeonly opinion in that way, half the topics on this forum would be locked. But we don't, and we shouldn't. That's not a mod's job. There are still people posting things about the actual chapter. It's not just the goldfish-memory spoiler requesters.
You really don't need to be arguing with me on this. I'm only apparently "contributing to the derail" (not really, though. nothing we ever say ever seems to impact in either direction how much oblivious people bring up spoilers in this thread on Tuesday evenings) because people like yourself seem to think there's a personal case to be made against me.
But this is all going to be moot after we implement an upcoming policy change on this very issue that will cut out all the middle steps. Look forward to it :D

Honestly I want a fight now!!!!!! In every arc there's a couple chapters between luffy's fight after everyone else has already won. So I hope that we see Sabo kicking ass or Franky kicking ass! And rebecca can kick ass too b/c of all these haters.
Look at that scene again and you'll noticed that everyone except for Rebeca knew right away what was going, that's why three guys jumped him at once and Suleiman attacked him right away, you can also see it by their expression as soon as Cavendish starts acting weird.

That everyone besides rebecca was good enough to read the situation. At least that's my reading of your comment, I could very well be wrong. The chapter shows that the other fighters only noticed after he fell onto the ground from falling asleep and we didn't see rebecca's reaction after he fell onto the ground asleep. Rebecca doesn't seem the type to attack the a sleeping fighter either.
I just realized that all the blocks were finished by massive AoE attacks.
Hmmm, Luffy's attack as an AoE attack but it was a one on one fight though.

That everyone besides rebecca was good enough to read the situation. At least that's my reading of your comment, I could very well be wrong. The chapter shows that the other fighters only noticed after he fell onto the ground from falling asleep and we didn't see rebecca's reaction after he fell onto the ground asleep. Rebecca doesn't seem the type to attack the a sleeping fighter either.
What I meant was that every single gladiator knew what was going on with Cavendish and Rebeca was the only one that was clueless about the whole situation but she stayed calm and saw the attack.

I really hope Luffy can beat Don Krieg, but the guy just seems way too powerful. Perhaps he'll find Shanks in the next few chapters for training? I don't know how big the Grand Line is, but surely Shanks is out there, right?
