This discussion won't even matter, he'll be revealed pretty soon and this is all speculation (albeit fun). If he doesn't have the eye-patch, then oh well lol It'll be sweet when we actually get to see a character with one in the manga.

I think his face isn't revealed because oda wants to give him the proper introduction. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have any facial scars what so ever.

The plan was never to defeat Kaido, just have DD killed.

I think Kaido will be a one on one fight with Luffy and him, sometime down the line. Big mom will be the first to go, I think. The alliances will somehow all end up at the same place after the same target. We cant forget that this story isnt about the strawheart pirates, but the strawhat pirates, thus this alliance will end soon and both crews will go their seperate ways.
