Not sure if anyone else thinks this but Meodows reminds me so much of Garp in a really bad disguise. Also the name screams Will of D. with Meow the sound a cat makes with a D in the middle, plus the hat he is wearing being a Leopard.
I subscribe to this theory. Luffy and SABO were interested in getting Ace's fruit, why wouldn't Garp be? Plus he did resign his position after the war and we know he regrets not saving Ace so… Yeah makes a lot of sense

Someone mentioned Rebecca. I wouldn't rule it out completely. This chapter seem to focus on blinding speed, be it the dwarves, the toy soldier or the attack at the end. We saw the toy soldier training Rebecca in this same chapter and telling her to "unlock human power".
Maybe Rebecca will get up with no recolection of what she just did saying "Wha… what happened here?"
Or maybe it's just me being a pessimist since I really don't want Rebecca to come out as the winner of this block.
The option that would make me the happiest would be a captured dwarf, though, ordered by Doflamingo to attack the fighters just to move things quickly. But, yeah, Meadows is the obvious choice.

Nope, most logical would be Rebecca. The dwarves are trying to sneak into the factory through the underground. The dwarves would want the tournament to go on as long as possible since that is keeping Diamante busy. Defeating everyone in Block D would make the tournament end faster.

Nope since drama wise that would have no impact. If a dwarf was going to be shown attacking someone it would be attacking the dwarves group that's in the undergroud since Doflamingo is forcing him to. Plus, the dwarves are trying to keep themselves hidden until the factory assault. It wouldn't be logical at all to have one of them reveal themselves as dwarves as a tournamet fighter in a colisseum watched by all of Dressrosa.
But I get what you're trying to say. From the speed comment, the next logical choice would be the dwarves.

Does anyone else think Oda messed up the layout/scale/diagram of this underground dock place? If you look at the last chapter, Usopp and Robin are hiding behind those shipping containers and you see that they're pretty close to the central tower and it's all ground between them and the tower with the toys walking and the railway tracks, then boats are off in the distance as well as the factory.
Then in this chapter there is a map showing the layout, and there is a ring of water around the tower with the boats in that, but the marker says Usopp and Robin and the dwarves are on the outer edge. It would be fine if the map said they were on the other side of the water. But they're supposedly not there so last chapter the tower should've been further away with water between them.
But uhhhh yeah solid chapter continuing the events but nothing special.

Put your money on Cavendish, he's got one of them legendary swords his attack is powerful it knocked him out for a few seconds along wit everyone else.
This chapter was great. More focus on dwarves? Yes please. More focus on Exposition Gu- I mean, Soldier? YES PLEASE.
This is was Dressrosa needs. When shit goes down and Soldier/the dwarves get in trouble, chapters like this is what makes the readers care.

Decent chapter. Not sure if this was mentioned, but (Yon)te Maria is a pun on (San)ta Maria - Columbus' Ship. Yon is 4 and san is 3. There was already the pun with (Ou)lumbus vs (Ko)lumbus, Small vs Big. Atleast that's what I think the intent was based on what little Japanese I know. CCC can clarify, probably. It must be pretty fun actually knowing Japanese and understanding all the puns Oda throws.

I have seen that specific abbreviation in other places (e.g. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei). I believe it is a Japanese thing.
Yeah, I believe I heard them using it on Gaki no Tsukai too. It's possible that's how it is in the RAW. But no, this is Mangapanda. We shouldn't be giving them the courtesy of the doubt.

Oh my bad I see it now. I think it's like an optical illusion. The tower looks like it is much closer, but it's really just huge. Otherwise yeah those toys would be huge and the tower small. Though I still think there is something wrong with the scale, given how big those boats are. Even if the tower is huge, I say it should still be smaller that far away to give more room to fit these moats.

She's been fighting in a tournament for a while. She could've gotten hit anytime before that attack. Lightning soldier has hit her before so we know she can take domestic violence and still continue to fight. Her having a bruise doesn't dispprove anything.

No one knows that luffy lest colosseum because lucy still there.
Sabo said that he had heard rumours, which judging from previous mangapanda translations, means that he has heard rumours about someone participating in the tournament not about the power itself. Whomever turns out to be the winner it must be a real powerful character which uses a disguise just as luffy did, Meadows fits perfectly.
I'm pretty sure Sabo was referring to it, as in the power that was used to knockout everybody. Hopefully he wasn't talking about Conquerers Haki as the power he's heard rumours about because that would imply he's doesn't have it and/or never encountered it before which are both highly unlikely.

Like I said in the spoiler thread, we haven't seen Meadows; he's MIA, and was in Block D. My bet: Meadows is actually a commander of the Kaido Pirate's, and took out Block D to win the Mera Mera no Mi for Kaido.
Oda does it again! Can't wait to find out who he turns out to be. Toei Animation better put their heart and soul into the animation and overall production of this arc.
