talking about level, I'm not sure Luffy's level is near a yonkou level soon. I mean, he defeated dofla by the assistance of Law, though Luffy was the one who delivered the final blow. I think the same thing would happen against kaidou. It will be 2 (or more) vs 1 (kaidou), not purely one vs one. Just my opinion.
For me, indeed Oda showed some inconsistencies there. He left that 'little' things unexplained, though its not a big deal.
There is also possibility that someday he would confirm that in SBS too, until the day lets just keep them the way they were.

Some people point out the gloves that Sabo and Koala wear and connected with Aokiji which he might be a member in the RA

'Bird cage' is a special military attack performed by 2 admirals (kinda like Buster Call but more terrifying), only a tenryuu who may initiate it and yes dofla is a tenryuu..

In a normal case, if Law's enemy uses CoA to coat himself, he would be sliced (a normal cut, not Ope Ope's cut), but with Vergo massive Haki coat he used to withstand Law's cut (back when Law was younger).
So he used haki to surpass Vergo's coat, if he didn't he wouldn't be able to even scratch him.
so you were saying that Law's Haki has surpassed Vergo's? then basically Law can just sliced Vergo without room, he didn't even have to made the super big one.
oh one more thing, we don't know when Law was younger he couldn't cut Vergo because he had not mastered Haki yet or just simply he was still a kid and couldn't made the super big room. Sorry i'm not good with my english

Because i'm still wondering, if Law's sword is imbued by CoA, can he still dismember people without harming them? seems like Haki will give real effect to the victim right?
